What drew you to The Sanctuary and why are you excited to join? Well I love the game but I hate the lonelyness of single player. I'm looking for a server where I can find people for both in and out of game friends. This server is clearly well moderated with an active and inviting staff. Im hopeful to finding what I'm looking for here.

What difficulty do you think the server should have and why? [/b]My vote is Hard. Anything less and the thrill of the nights and deep cave exploration are gone. Plus the fact that late game with all the enchants Hard really isnt that hard
Should mob griefing be on or off and why?[/b] I personally prefer servers with Ender griefing off but everything else should be fair game because you cant control what an ender touches but what you can control is if you can kill that creeper/ghast before they destroy the stuff around you.

I'm a gamer; RPG, strategy, and creative games are my jam. I love shows (series, films, and theater) currently I'm going through a musical phase. I'm a 23 year old freelance graphic artist from the Philippines. As a work at home freelancer I have a lot of 'downtime' which I spend tutoring my sisters for their homeschooling or enjoying my games, shows, art (comics included) and recently(ish) books. Currently I'm watching The Magicians since I just finished the book series. For art I love reading comics/webcomics or browsing deviant art or the likes. As for the games I play are mostly RPGs, strategy games or 'creative'. Aside from MC I like Fallout, Starcraft, Hearthstone, LoL and Stardew.
What kind of Minecraft player are you?: I would title myself as a 'practical builder'. I am very fond of building farms, redstone contraptions, shops I like building things that serve a purpose and making them look good. I am not a PvP kinda person mainly because frankly I suck at it and thats not for a lack of trying! On a previous server I was on they had a hunger games UHC sorta event every so often and I'd try to play but never really got into it. That doesn't mean I dislike community events. I love playing 'minigames' or PvE events like dragon killing or fortress spelunking with other people.
Why do you want to join this Minecraft Server?: I love playing Minecraft, and ever since I started playing I've always preferred multiplayer. I grew up with a bunch of neighborhood friends we laughed, talked, and played almost every day. Among the games/toys we played was Lego, I had a couple of boxes full of the stuff, and together we'd make tiny cities and make up adventures, you could tell I grew up with nerds, but towards high school they started moving away (not going to a sob story I swear!) when I play on a server its almost like I'm back in grade school playing with friends building cities and just having fun. I'm hoping that joining this server I'd find some online friends to not only play with but just be friends.
How will you contribute to our community?: By being active and friendly! I like participating in events, building with other people or simply just providing an extra voice to chat with. I am also kinda fun at parties.

Are you a redstoner/builder/explorer/other: I'm a cross between a redstoner and builder. I love building practical buildings like all the structures in my towns all have some sort of redstone contraption whether it be an auto chicken farm inside a giant chicken bucket, or a smithy with an autosmelter inside.
How good are you at your play style (rating out of 5):
Redstone: 3/5 as much as I understand basic redstone I dont have much in terms of original designs but I do have the basics committed to memory
Builder: 4/5 I play MC to build. I like to say Im a great builder but not the best.
Explorer: ~/5 I do like exploring but after I find my 'spot' I just stay there rarely do I go out adventuring without a reason to.

(I hope you don't mind I combined these questions, my MC experience has been mostly if not exclusively multiplayer so the line is blurry here)
My main Minecraft story started at about the beta update when they introduced the nether. A friend of mine from high school invited me to try it out, when I logged in for the first time at his place he had a server set up with another friend and showed me around their castle. At the time the cobble stone monstrosity looked so awe inspiring that it convinced me to play right then and there. I remember being underage to actually work so I had this under the table paying gig at my uncles cafe and I saved up to build my current rig with a little extra just enough to buy MC I pestered my mom to lat me use her credit card so I could buy it. I gave her the actual cash so it evens out.
I love playing Minecraft, and ever since I started playing I've always preferred multiplayer. I grew up with a bunch of neighborhood friends we laughed, talked, and played almost every day. I've played mostly vanilla since I started never really got into most mods but I did try the likes of tekkit but I guess its because I tried it alone and blind. I am interested in trying modpacks but its not high on my to do list. Also not counting mini-game servers I'm not a fan of huge servers (never less than 100 people at a time) I prefer servers like this one a small(-ish) close knit community.
I've been on about less than 10 or so servers since I started, most of them were local servers ones that either a friend or I have set up and the other half were servers that I joined from this website. When college hit and even though we all mostly went to the same area for college our schedules started to become erratic, hanging out evolved into playing MC. But due to the guys who hosted the servers getting their internet downgraded (my own included) we haven't played much since. In terms of online servers I've been on a few, there are 3 that I can remember fondly; Universal Rush, Phoenix Rebels, and The Apollo servers. I've made some memories and had I known that the servers would go down I would've kept track of my friends on the first 2 servers, the latter server is still online and I'm still part of their roleplay/build section but due to connectivity issues playing in the non RP area is hard for me.
To the best of my knowledge I havn't been banned from any server yet and I don't intend to start.
Why do you want to join: When I logged into the server for the first time the other day I saw what I was looking for, a 'home server' it felt like a family. I've been on other servers and so far this ones been the most welcoming with multiple people coming to tour/open doors for me. I really feel like I can find a home here.
What would you bring to the server: My winning personality and smile! I like to consider myself helpful on a previous server I took it upon myself to help with every community farm build that I could. Have I mentioned fun at parties? Aside from that I'm not sure. I'm average in most aspects nothing very special about me but that doesn't stop me from trying to be.

I've already asked my questions when I logged on to the server the other day. I've mentioned above that I play on another server that won't mean I wont be loyal to either server if accepted, I plan on playing on each server for different reasons. I hope that would not be a problem.

The castle was a pet project I stated years ago I come back every so often but not much has changed
The house and walls were part of a server I ran they were part of the village/town that a friend and I built I didn't show the other half of the wall since its still patchy.
