super smart! Its just annoying to press the lever everytime, that extra step. Maybe if you hooked the piston up to an auto-clicker?

A very minor problem with the rainforests, rain/storms is a worldwide event, and isnt controlled by biome. the only thing it checks for are cold biomes, in which case it snows rather than rains.

posted a message on [REQ] More Experience Mod
Very simple, at least the idea. I think it would be good to have a mod that adds more ways to be able to get experience, not just from combat. Its very tedious to level up even a single level from just combat. Below I have compiled a list of suggested skills EXP should be obtainable from.

-Potion Making (Only first time for each new potion you make with no negative effects)

-Mining (Only first time mining a new ore. IE first coal lump, first iron ore, etc.)

-Achievements (EXP for each achievement you get!)

-Dungeoneering (EXP for every mob spawner you destroy)

-Villages (Right click the priest in a village, and first time he gives you EXP, every other time is a sapling.

And that's it! I think this would make getting experience points a more rounded attainability. This way there's all kinds f things you can do to get EXP, so you can enchant things more often, or just boast your awesomeness!

    Worky worky with 1.9pre3?

I ask because I tried it and it was wrong, no stronghold, and I know this because no glass tower. Something Changed in the generation of strongholds alone, as the Biomes and rivers in the map were dead on, so stronghold finding needs to be fixed.

I'm also not sure I'd classify Betelgeuse as one of the biggest. It's definitely big even, in relative terms, but there's a great number of stars out there that are bigger.

Erin? Never heard of it. In fact, I can't even find any reference to it anywhere. Could you mean Eris?

If you do, then, no, they're not in a similar position relative to the sun. They're on opposite sides of the sun.

In response to Betelgeuse, it is one of the biggest in our galaxy, and is classified as such..
In response to the Eris Statement, yes, I did mean Eris, i did not catch that mistake. And I meant that are in a position similar to that of Betelgeuse and our sun are relative the the center of the galaxy, but relative to our sun. I mean they are aligned, just like Betelgeuse and our sun, but with the sun.

As with the coincidence thing, I was speaking in terms of just occurrences in the Milky Way, not counting any other parts of the universe as, you are right, many occurrences like these happen all the time. Remember also, I am simply relaying a piece of an article I found reading up on the death of Mr. Jobs.
