    FFS... PPL act like this wasn't expected... This happens after every ****ing update like it has been for months..

    No, they are the basic square texture files. It's expected that if you're making a 3D animation, that you will make the model and texture it yourself.

    If you happen to be making a 2D animation with an isometric perspective, I'd have to say I'm surprised you'd have the ability to do that, but not the ability to perform some rather basic image manipulation to make an isometric version.

    Either way - there are no set isometric images of the blocks; you'd be best just to do it yourself - that way you can make sure they're exactly what you want.


    ah okay, yeah I'm doing 2D animation, but the deadline is coming and I can't find freakin' isometric images so I'm just doing a Portal animation...

    I need isometric images of each idividual block for my animation class because I'm making a Minecraft animation, so far I have :wood: :cobblestone: :soil: & :stone:

    but please include those blocks because the images I got are pretty blury

    If you guys could help me that would be awesome

    Spawning creatures near a somewhat common stone is already in the game... That's what Mob Spawners are. A block that spawns monsters. The same concept could be applied when you take a block out of hell and into the real world. It just turns into a Mob Spawner with the textures of that particular hell block.

    Also, I suggested in another thread (and someone else has also suggested something similar here) that hell blocks should kill off the vegetation surrounding it in some radius away. So grass would slowly die out to dirt and trees would so the same.

    I like the idea of Hell Monsters slowly turning surrounding blocks into Hell versions. It just shouldn't be too fast though... don't want to drop off 1 hell block and have death be upon ye before the break o' dawn... as cool as that would be, it would ruin your save quickly should you not place a light or not think and place a torch (That would then go out in like 3 days or however long they last)...


    -_-' there is only like, one mob spawner per dungeon, and there is way more mossy cobblestone than mob spawner, it's kinda like making the mossy cobblestone spawn monsters, that would be crazy, but I guess you could lower the amount of spawning, but I'd still prefer it to be just bloody cobblestone

    When you load the file, it's not all the same theme, there will be different biomes within the file

    Well, lets say you fill up the fault in a Fault Biome, and you make an underground base? would it still cause damage

    what if you chop down ALL the trees in a Jungle, does it still decrease damage when you fall???

    If you want all of the effects of damage, and stuff, then you will have to make a number on every block and for you to be able to change the biome, then you would have to program each block to test the blocks around it by at least 5 spaces

    Image how long it would take to load???

    well, it would be a little difficult to program, there would have to be a way for the computer to tell when your in an area, I guess you could put another variable on each space, declaring which biome it is in when the map is generated, but what if you change it??? how would the computer know what type of environment your creating...

    It's all definitely possible, but just pretty tricky, and it might make the game harder to load
