I think there's one reason this can be disproved: aesthetics. There just some colours that "go together" and it's pretty much unanimously agreed upon. Like look up a tropical colour palette. While it might not be your thing, you can't really say that it looks BAD, right?

But if these colours looked like pink, red, dark blue, light blue, and white, it wouldn't look so nice.

It would look fine to another person, because their idea of what was aesthetically pleasing would be different simply based on that fact that they'd never known anything else.

Cryrus, you are easily comparible to the male's genitals. What makes me Metro is a combination of OCD, I take extreme care of my nails and I always have good hygiene.

I don't care if you're metrosexual, asexual, homosexual, pansexual, transeuxal, bisexual, or whatever, the pedestal you've put yourself on because you enjoy being clean doesn't give you the right to be rude.

I hate anime. And Japan started WWII because they wanted control of the Philippines, which was owned by the US in that time.

He said nothing about your personal opinions of anime. Also like Akame said, the Germans started WW2, the Japanese jumped on the bandwagon.

posted a message on LD help?
Well, there are many techniques, but only two methods; the techniques just branch off of the concept of the method.

The first method, which many LDers start out on, is Dream Induced Lucid Dreaming (DILD). Kind of self explanatory, it's simply inducing a lucid dream by realizing you're dreaming, while dreaming.

The second, which I'd reserve for people who've had a few, is Wake Induced Lucid Dreaming (WILD). This is basically getting your body to fall asleep without your mind necessarily doing so as well.

By what you've said it seems like all you've tried is a DILD, and it's fairly difficult to do it, if you aren't preparing correctly. Try this. Most of the time, people who tend to react to unusual situations without thinking about it with a clear mind tend to not be as able to realize they are in a dream, and this is because, that kind of behavior carries into your dreams, so if you don't question things often, you won't in a dream, and you'll accept a pig giving a lecture on evo devo as a common occurrence.

In your waking life, whenever something new or unexpected happens, do a variety of reality checks, which I'm sure you know about, but don't just do one. What I do is I clamp my nose shut with my fingers and try breathing. If I can't breath, well, I'm awake. However if I can still breath, I check my hands, and generally something will be wrong with them, but usually for me I have an extra finger between my middle and ring finger.

Something I tended to do when I was beginning, would be to just say to myself, "Of course I'm not dreaming," however that really kept me from actually having one, because I did the same thing in a dream, and so it never worked.

I'll be happy to answer anything else, because I really like the topic.

    Yes.

If he chickens out again though, punch him in the eye.
Don't punch him in the eye. Just say that even if it's banter, you don't appreciate it, and kindly ask him to stop, and if it's really banter, he'll stop.

If he says you should stop being so sensitive, then punch him in the eye.

Maybe there are peer pressure towards your friends?
Peer pressure is doing something a friend told you to in order to impress them. Joe is not looking for impressive people; he is looking for lapdogs.

Look, I don't care if you're male/female/bigender/androgynous/pangender/trigender/transgender/agender/neutrois/etc., hitting anyone isn't cool. If they hit you, hit them back, but that's it. Them hitting you doesn't give you the right to murder them with your fists.
