Oct 10, 2011kairikawaii posted a message on [PUZ] Puzzlecraft V1.3 (Cheesy name, challenging map) (Played by AntVenom)(45000+ Downloads)Finished! Found the portal and got 24 diamonds. Clever map, I enjoyed playing it. The only thing I found annoying was the snowball challenge. It was hard to tell where the holes were at in the ice. But maybe you did that on purpose! :wink.gif:Posted in: Maps

MCPatcher + Optifine
This pack makes heavy use of some features unique to MCPatcher/optifine such as custom colours, unique biome colours, CTM, lightmaps and a few other features. I highly suggest using the pack alongside either mod.
Thousands of hours of work have gone into this pack over the years. I've enjoyed it all and it's been a fantastic learning experience so I have no need to ask for donations but I'll always accept them!
Big thanks to everyone who has donated in the past.
If you want to help advertise the pack, consider popping this code into your signature!
Feel free to use these textures in any mixpack, project, game or whatever you want (paid or unpaid). However, I'd appreciate it if I was credited for all the hard work I've put into these textures.

MAtmos is a sound atmosphere generator for Minecraft. Whenever you play on any multiplayer server or in singleplayer, it looks at your surroundings and generates natural noises as a soundscape, such as birds chirpling in the forest, rumbling noises near a lava lake or wind gusts on a hilltop. This fills out the perpetual silence of Minecraft.

Oct 20, 2011Egon posted a message on SuperMarioCraft (updated 2/25/2015) [80,000+ downloads!]Posted in: Resource PacksUpdated 2015.02.22 for Minecraft 1.8.1
IT'S BACK!After over two years with hardly any news, SuperMarioCraft has been updated! There are quite a few new items that still need texturing, but all the essentials are still finished covering most everything you'll encounter on a daily basis.
(also the images above are outdated but mostly accurate, I'll update them some weekend when I have a lot of time again)
About SuperMarioCraftI started this pack way back in October of 2011 because I wanted a clean Mario-themed pack for myself (and to share)! To keep a consistent style I decided to use only resources and themes from a single game, and selected Super Mario World, partly because it's my favorite Mario platformer and partly for its lovely color themes. Every sprite and texture that isn't taken directly from the game has been carefully crafted to match the the clean simplicity of the rest.
Downloads! Here's the main pack updated for 1.8.1:
Support me for a couple seconds and download through adfly -->
Or use the super lame direct download
By default the wools are simple and not the obnoxious exclamation-point wools you see in the images above. If for some crazy reason you do want the obnoxious wools I've made a resource pack for just those, so make sure it appears above SuperMarioCraft in the list of selected packs. IF you want to help me out and can't donate (if you want to donate, which I don't expect you to, just shoot me a PM), you can just keep going to the download link through adfly, OR use this adfly link over and over, which will take you back to this page. You can also help me by posting if you play the map, what you thought of it, and any ideas that you have...
I would love it if you could make a lets play and invite me to do it with you on a multiplayer server. I might even get onto Skype and give my own comments
KNOWN BUGS WHERE YOU CAN CHEAT
1. You can break the break the floor after the cake puzzle to get down to the next level, since the piston doesn't seem to work.
2. At the end, you should jump off the chest onto the ground, run across at the wall and break one of the gravel.

Apr 3, 2011bonemouse posted a message on [16x][1.5] Isabella II 1.5v2 - I Got Yer Redstone Here! + Fixes (March 15, 2013) (FINAL UPDATE)Announcement:Posted in: Resource Packs
I'm sad to announce that I will be retiring as a Minecraft texture pack maker (for now) and will not be producing anymore updates for Isabella.
I owe a huge dept of gratitude to everyone who downloaded my pack, especially those who took the time get in touch with me via this post or PM. Isabella has been my most successful creative endeavor, and even though I never made a dime doing it, the hours spent were well worth it.
I'm leaving Isabella in the hands of the community. I'd love to see someone (or some people) take her to 1.6 and beyond. Anyone wishing to continue my work has my permission to do so.
Treat her well.
Isabella II is a reworked version of Isabella (now called Isabella Classic.) It offers the same melancholic feel but with brighter visuals, improving the experience on a wider range of monitors.
Latest Download: 1.5v2 - March 14, 2013
Planet Minecraft Mirror
Isabella was designed to make use of custom animated water and lava, Connected Texture Mod (CTM), RandoMob, and Custom Colors. I also recommend enabling Better Grass and playing with a view distance of Normal or lower. To get these features, you must install:

Isabella Classic to Isabella II
If you are interested in converting old Isabella Classic textures to the new Isabella II style, here's is my general method in Photoshop.
To brighten the textures I used a Brightness/Contrast adjustment layer:
I did not apply this to the snow and ice textures since it just washed them out completely. They are left as-is.
No changes were made to the "breaking animation" either.
I also changed the stone, cobblestone, stone bricks, and other stone blocks by applying a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer.
Layer fill set to 7%
No colour changes were made to anything but the terrain tiles. So items and entities remain the same and backwards compatible.
Isabella II to Isabella Classic
To darken I used a Brightness/Contrast adjustment layer:
Do not apply this to snow, ice, and "breaking animation."
To remove the tint from the stone I used a Hue/Saturation/Lightness adjustment layer:

This is a texture pack made with vector graphics. This means that the resolution is effectively infinite since you can zoom in forever without seeing jagged pixels (although it has to be converted to a raster -- i.e. regular pixel image -- before it can be used in Minecraft).
Because of the scalability of vector graphics, I am pleased to offer this pack in resolutions of 16x, 32x, 64x, 128x, 256x, and even 512x! (Adobe Illustrator refuses to export the 1024x version, since that would result in a PNG file of dimensions 16384x16384)
Here's a nice review by Thescorpi0n:
I'd really appreciate any donations if you like this texture pack.

Making commercial videos and screenshots of Minecraft using this texture pack counts as Fair Use, however, so you're allowed to do that.

Use the HD Patcher or Optifine. Download one of the five versions of this pack and put it in the Texture Pack folder. Select texture pack from Minecraft texture pack menu.
NOTE: Large texture packs may crash computers. If your computer runs too slowly, choose a lower resolution.

There are still many items such as chests, etc. that are not done yet. Also, I will work on GUI, mobs, and font.
