I wish to join because I am looking a legitimate minecraft survival experience with a mature community. It looks like you have that here. Believe it or not, such a thing is hard to find here in the forums. Being 21 years of age, I am one of the more older minecrafters in the world and the servers I visit are nothing but immature kids starting drama. I just want a nice, friendly, mature environment where everyone gets along and I can just enjoy myself playing the game along with a friend who should be applying here shortly. My reasons are simple, and honestly I hope good enough for your standards.
What can you bring to our community:
Well I consider myself a decent builder. Not much one for redstone but I will help out people who ask for my aid. If anything what I don't bring is drama. I am just here to have fun. Mining, fighting mobs, and building is my bread and butter. My breakfast, lunch and dinner. I absolutely love Minecraft, and I wouldn't compromise a good server by displaying a bad attitude. Basically what I offer to the community is myself. My quiet, lovable self who helps people when aid is asked of him, but will otherwise be doing his own little merry thing.
Can you be a stable, long term member:
Sure, I just need to try out the server and make sure it is right for me you know? It's kinda like applying for a job you have never tried before. You could like it, you could hate it. You will never know until your hired.

Unfortunately I lost access to my old server. Not banned or anything mind you, I just literally took a very long break cause of some stressful times going on in real life, and I came back to find that I couldn't remember my old servers IP. But I assure, I made this cool little standing hotel that had this whole rustic feel going on.

What is the most important info about Grief Prevention: I would say claiming land is a good way to prevent griefing, exploiting massive use of the plugins that cause grief prevention is also a good way to keep things safe.

It's been a few months since I last played but I'm getting back onto Minecraft again, though due to my cursed short term memory, I have seemed to forget all the servers I used to play on. Though what I do remember is that most of the best servers I had played on had come from suggestions made right here on these very forums.
So yes, I am looking for a multiplayer server. Please have it be Vanilla based with no or optional PVP. I am looking for the legit minecraft experience.....preferably without the younger crowd (kids being 8-12). I would really want to join a server that has a mature playerbase which quite honestly...I find slightly lacking these days. But besides all that and the standard griefer protection, that is really all I am looking for in a Minecraft Server.
Here is to hoping the Minecraft Forums pulls through for me. There is always something about playing Minecraft with others that makes the experience more enjoyable, even if your not directly in contact with anyone. Its just a comforting thought that your playing along with other people in the world...makes the world feel more alive if you know what I mean. I am looking for a small (preferably) to medium vanilla SMP server with a kind and decent community. I really don't want all this fancy stuff with tekkit and buckit and all of these weird plugins. I just want to create collaboratively with people using what Minecraft by default already offers you. PVP is ok, but long as it isn't straight PVP, and it has safe zones to build.
A little about me, since I know that small communities can be choosy when picking new members. I am 20 years old, mature, never griefed in my life, going to college for an internet marketing degree, and really just looking for that right Minecraft community that always seems to evade me.
So if any of you have a server like this, please give me a ring. I am tired of joining these large servers and just be a number...
Greetings. I am looking a small to medium sized server that is Survival and NON-PVP oriented. I just want to play with people and have a good time. Honestly I would rather have the server be Vanilla, but a few mods are acceptable as long it doesn't affect original gameplay. I would like a Server where this is some sense of structure to it, when I say that I mean I don't want to go in the server and fine sporadic structures all over the place in an unorganized fashion. Basically, I don't want to find a giant golden penis in the middle of nowhere. I am looking a mature and serious server that just wants to have fun with maybe an emphasis on progression (you know, like ranking up and such). If any of you know such a server, please post below.
