I got an idea that is very similar to the rest of them but a bit different. Only players that are from the uchiha clan have a exclusive companion that is an uchiha, he could be your friend or relative or whatever. After a certain amount of time the companion will have thoughts about killing you for the mangekyou sharinghan for himself, and you will be notified when hes going to do it through the chat so you don't just get randomly attacked. Then he attempts to kill you and if you defend yourself and kill him which will destroy you mentally because you were best friends you gain the mangekyou sharinghan, if you don't well you die and you don't get it. Maybe in some way you can try again but i'm not too sure how that would work.

As for me on my own, I most likely won't,
reason being that, as I've stated before, programming really isn't my thing actually
I just love naruto and you guys so much that it gives me the drive to keep on going
But I've got other plans for the future
You'll deffinately still hear from me after this mod is completed,
But in a different way, and I hope that the people who have been following and enjoying my mod, will equally follow and enjoy my next endeavors! ^^

My plans at this point are to finish this next 1.0.0 update, move it over to the finished mods section
from there on have people that help in the mod, hopefully people that are better in programming than me ( it's crazy, I litterally take about 4 hours per little thing I try to add haha )
then mostly "watch over" the development, or eventually even give the development away to someone I can trust
In the meantime, I'll get my other project going, in the beginning of the new project, I'll probably entertwine both this mod and that project, so you all definately get the first chance to follow that aswell ^^

as for your question
the akatsuki at this point of the mod just have crazy attack, speed and hp

I'm not saying the code I have for them now makes them easier to beat ( actually in the contrary, now they actually use jutsu aswell )
but their attack power has been lowered so they don't one shot you

I don't remember as much from the old code ( the one you are playing with now ) since everything has been reworked for quite some time now on my part
but If i can remember correctly, to beat the akatsuki you'll need to have either the mangekyou sharingan or rinnegan so you get more resistance
possibly activate the susano'o for ultimate defense
and then use something like chakra enhanced strength to up your attack power, and attack them with the kubikiribocho ( zabuzas sword, he has a chance to drop it, and is weaker than the akatsuki )

if I remember correctly that's the way to do it
there are ways to gain more kekkei genkai papers, the crafting recipe is on the front page, don't remember it from the top of my head since that has also been removed for the new coming update haha
the old code was rather unbalanced when it came to these things

One other thing you could do is try to achieve shikotsumyaku or wood release
both of them give loads of resistance needed to tank the hits from the akatsuki

If you want to beat them as a gate user, I'd reccomend going up to at least gate 6, dishing enough damage until right before you run out of chakra
then going away somewhere, deactivating, waiting it out and going back in when chakra is high enough
make sure to keep an eye on them or they will disappear

another way to do it would be to stack up on chakra restore items

Or, use the iburi clan perfect defense mode
or kurama clan dark cave illusion
it should give you nausea

and as an eight gates user, nauseau gives you the drunken fist boost!


Hope you'll be able to beat them eventually
But for a more fair fight, and better way to use and unlock jutsu, just wait for the upcoming update ^^

Hello I've just got a few questions (love the mod btw).

How on earth do you defeat the Akatsuki? Because I have got eight gates kekkei genkei, wind nature chakra, proctection 2 ANBU armour and itachi and kisame still one shot me lol, either I really suck or there's more to the mod i haven't got a round to yet.

And when do you think the animes going to updated because i love it :)))))).
