So the thing is, if you put more than one turnip / cucumber down it will actually combine them in a way that when you make it with just one turnip, they won't stack. I assume this is because you optionally used more ingredients to make it heal more stamina? That's sort of what I've gotten from the mechanic so far. If I make Happy Eggplant for example with Sugar in the frying pan, it heals me more but also does not stack with the normal ones. SO I guess its a pseudo quality thing.
Correct. At least for 0.5. I rewrote parts of the cooking for 0.6. So you'll get a meal for every complete set of ingredients. So two eggplants will now give you two happy eggplants. Which makes more sense... Although that is funny when you have items that require two ingredients, if you use one of x and 19 of y, you'll still get one of your recipe, but it will be a super recipe, restoring a load of hunger/sat in one go xD.
My and my friend are trying to make our own towns but it keeps saying he cant build because it's too close to my town...
Is there anyway to change the config to let him build his town closer? or at least tell me how many blocks away he needs to build...
He's tried building quite far away but it still fails and we dont want our towns too far apart... plz help...
Yes change D:"Distance between towns"=256.0 to a smaller number, it's in the npcs section.
I love this mod,it makes me think of the days I played harvest moon at GBA.But I have done something stupid and need your help:(
I place a building in a wrong direction,so I destroy it before it was done,and/give myself a new blueprint.but I can't place a new building now,and the NPC is suffering cold night and rain, homeless.what should I do now?
Unfortunately the only way to do anything in 0.5 would be to edit the nbt data for the towns directly. I have added a destroy building, so you can replace in 0.6 though.
I think it's actually just giving the wrong error message. You should try to get them to try to build their village further away. They have to be a certain distance away from each other to be valid.
Sounds like it is a graphical issue for you. I don't experience it and other people i've seen player with the mod, just have the foggy effect. What you could do is umm in my configs disable snow and blizzard as weather options. Granted it'll never snow in winter, but at least it's not 'unplayable'. I can probably add a config in the future to disable the fog effect.
There is no version 0.7.4 of the mod. The instant healing the next day only applies to the 0.6 version. In 0.5 they don't autoheal. In 0.6 caring for animals is easier too. 0.6 is in alpha on curse.
I assume by 0.7.4 you're playing the farming valley pack... Which is on 0.5 atm, until 0.6 is properly ready. But yeah cows/sheep get sick too easily because they need to be brushed in 0.5 in order to not get sick. (I changed this to just being for happiness in 0.6).
Sorry about the delay again with 0.6 >.> The last few textures were driving me mad I believe I have someone who can help me finish them now... hopefully!
The tutorials are per player, but you can use the same town/buildings just discard the second carpenter blueprint. The tutorial only checks if you talk to Jade not if you started the building.
From my end yes. All my modding time is going in to Harvest Festival sorry :(. If someone wants to take over that's fine though of course, noone's been interested though

The wiki isn't public fully yet, plus it will only be accurate for 0.6 anyway

Yeah, also working on a wiki and 0.6 has a book, so hopefully things will be better in the future xD.
For 0.5 just make sure you're looking at the 0.5 branch > https://github.com/PenguinSquad/Harvest-Festival/tree/1.10.2-0.5.X

That's way too many times I said 0.5 and 0.6 xD

You can't remove buildings in 0.5. The only way would be to edit the save data. I added demolishing of buildings in 0.6 though.

Sell them or convert them in to wood/stone with the hf axe/hammer (depending on tier).

Yes they break.

I don't speak Portuguese so no I won't be working on a translation >.>.
The github is linked in the first post.

Not for the next version but the one after that, just gathering thoughts :P.
Since I do plan to add fertiliser. Well at least one to speed up growth, just wondering if a quality one is worth it :P.
