Are you tired of regular parkour maps? Most parkour maps now a days are just floating blocks. Today I bring you something new, fresh, and original, Parkour Thief! This map was created using
Single Player Commands and Creative mode. It took quite awhile to make, so I hope you enjoy.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Keep in mind, all these videos were made in an older version of the map. The map has improved much more since then!

Review Summary:
A well-made parkour map that follows a humorous storyline. You are thief, attempting to steal a diamond from a museum and escape. The journey takes you through 4 different towns, each crafted into a well-detailed parkour experience. While navigating the parkour, you must solve puzzles that utilize multiple Minecraft functions such as crafting, searching, and placing blocks or items on specific keystones. Best of all; there are frequent checkpoints along the way. The story itself is well narrated through text on in-game maps, and throughout the map are humorous NPC dialogue and out-of-character directions on signs.

Playthrough Notes
-----------------------
=======================
I like the use of in-game maps for notes of course, and the "Chapter" signs.
Also, that we are starting mid-action.
Small town.
Why am I going up this ladder to the roof? I thought I was laying low...
Am I supposed to jump into the window with the villager? Doesn't seem very stealthy.
Pumpkin man?
This place is closely monitored... do they have a lot of dye theft in a 9-person town?
So, the women just have a puddle on the floor. At least the men get a half-block to sit on!
Am I going to need to shoot paintings, or are these weapons just for flavor?
I do like the checkpoint system, and the decoration in buildings is pretty good. A little cramped quarters tho.
Why am I eating the bread?
Finding the key to the museum in the Chinese Buffet was really a stretch. How would I know it's there...?
Oh - now I found the guy who lost his key. So I pretty much did the whole puzzle before I knew why I was doing the puzzle.
You are probably aware that if you drop down onto the chest with the diamond, you will be stuck there?
OK - the town was true parkour. This passage is just a jumping puzzle for the sake of having a jumping puzzle.
Like that the checkpoints are frequent, but the hallways is pretty long and the jumping is repetitive.
Am I actually supposed to throw something in to the water around the tree? I think it's just a joke...
What is that villager on the floating island...?
This time, instead of directly going up the tower, I'm going to search the town and see if I can tell where my goal is.
Pumpkin 5. Did I miss 3 and 4?
I walked on a grass block that let me past a fence, and found a lever in the Mayor's house. But then I recalled that I probably shouldn't have crossed the fence.
Ok - went back to see the tower. I didn't miss much.
Ah, there's the black wool.
"Santa" cracked me up
The non-parkour puzzles are straight forward, but I like that you have to 'build' your path with other mechanics.
Wait - I'm looking for another diamond? I thought I was just passing thru the town to escape authorities. I should have brought the 'notes' with...
That was a way more TNT than I thought
I like that each town has a different 'theme' and 'puzzle' to it, although 10 keys got to be a bit much.
I don't remember if the rules said I could craft a button, but clearly I'm supposed to.
Somehow I suspected 10 chapters, but a little relieved there are only 5. It's a nice map, even though I'm not that much of a jumping fan.
I appreciate the 'story' touch of your notes blowing away in the wind.
I think 'damage' may be off. I noticed you left spc.settings file in the map folder. I noticed before but thought it was my imagination. After jumping off of the blue building, I am sure.
I seem to be stuck in the elevator shaft...? Oh. Duh.
The stage curtains were a little blah, compared to all of the previous decorations, but not much else you could have done.
"Super Secret Janitor's Base" "Cool, huh?" made me grin
After "I should have worn a jacket" I am faced with white wool and now way to move it. I think I'm intended to break thru it? I think this is a bug - I can't get out of the room. I finally broke thru the wall and followed the redstone. I don't see a way to make these pistons open and let me out.
Movie theater is kinda blah - too small. It's like a tv theater. Oh. I momentarily forgot black wool.
Chapter 6
Oh? A choice?
Uhm... I threw my diamond in the hole and a door opened to the left. It's a closet. No way out. Is that the end?Oh. I didn't see the button.
Not a bad ending!
Checked out both endings. I chose the better one

This map is very close to a 9.5. It had a storyline, which no parkour map has pretty much ever had(unless it is combined with adventure). I think how it was planned was great, and the type of parkour you did being compatible with 1.1, really helped. I loved playing this with robinhood75.
