I don't think they added the regional difficulty idea, either. That would've been cool, a way to avoid making the beginning game even more difficult, but making the end hard.
Yeah, I was kinda excited for that but then we just stopped hearing about it.
I find the zombies to be a lot more difficult. I was working on a windmill and I opened a gate and zombies came pouring in. I had 2 hearts left and would've died if I didn't switch to peaceful in time. This happened in a manner of roughly 3 seconds.
The thing is, zombies are still easy to kill. Just snipe any skeletons in the area and make a 2-block high pillar, then proceed to smash any zombies around you with a sword, make sure to keep an eye out for skeletons though, and shoot any you see.
So, basically we should remove one of the most useful redstone creations and replace it with a creative-only and super laggy substitute just because you, only you, and you only, do not feel they fit with Minecraft? MAKES SENSE!
I enjoy the new hunger system, it makes you think about the foods you eat and it actually gives you a reason to farm animals as opposed to finding a single potato and being set on food for eternity.
Rotten Flesh, now that 1.6 has been released, is even bad as a last-resort food. It restored 2 hunger bars with 0.8 saturation and an 80% chance of hunger, meaning that if you need to heal then you will probably run through 10-12 rotten flesh doing so.
Better Than Wolves (or just fire dinnerbone and hire Flowerchild)
Yes, fire the dev that listens to the community and adds what people want and hire the douche that uses his successful mod as an excuse to have his head lodged up his own ass. That seems like an excellent suggestion.
So I have a small stable set up for horses on my server, and we have a problem where if a horse is attached to a fence with a Lead when the server restarts there is a chance for the lead to completely disappear, but the horse is still stuck as if it were there. Even if we break the fence post the lead was attached to the horse will still be stuck.

My 3 simple steps to stopping a Griefer:
1) Get WorldGuard/Residence and either protect user structures or allow them to do it themselves.
2) Get LogBlock so that even if something is griefed you can roll it back with a simple command.
3) Disallow things like tnt and turn off fire spread on Flint n Steel, also turn off creeper explosions.
And if you followed all 3 steps, then you no longer have to ever worry about Griefers again.

Except we play legit. Nice try though.
I have several hardcore worlds, I haven't died in any of them and the only time I came close was when a creeper blew up and sent me into a ravine.

So you want Mojang to waste their time coding a brand new game that is exactly like Minecraft but different?

Don't worry, we all do...
