Well that still doesn't change the fact that nobody knows what you want this thing to do. You can't just say "Make me and AI!" and expect everyone else to know what you want.
Adding on to this, even people who did know what you want would not want to help someone who gets an attitude while asking for help.
People's main issue is that they are forcing you to link to G+, a service very few people actually want to use, and never used before they started trying to integrate it into Youtube. My main issue with this is that it is a sad attempt by Google to save a failed idea. They wanted a social network and it failed, so now they are merging this fail with Youtube, one of their most successful products. So, instead of just sweeping G+ under the carpet and forgetting about it, they are dragging down the quality of another product to its standards by applying G+ to Youtube like a parasite. That is what es me off about the new comment section.
I think Jeb taking Minecraft in the right direction, I love the new updates !
But I didn't really enjoy the snapshots system...
Honestly, it annoys me when they keep the things they added in a snapshot secret. The point of them is for testing, not to tickle the community's fancy. If they want the features to be a secret it is easy to avoid learning about them until the update drops.
This post has nothing to do with mobs, I don't care about the mobs. It was an example that everyone is tuck on. Just get over it. I don't plan on the developers implementing this, but this is the suggestions. This is something I would like personally. Also just becasue they haven't made something optional for a long time, doesn't mean it can't ever happen, two years isn't even that much time, that's one wow expansion. Minecraft is still fairly early in its life.
People are 'stuck' on it because your example is off-topic and makes no sense. At all. And if you do not plan on the developers implementing your idea then do not suggest it.
So I think this thread can be summed up as: "I am nostalgic and I am one of those 'hardcore' people who plays in full enchanted diamond armor and with an end-game base and still expect the game to be hard for some reason, and having no hunger apparently somehow makes this happen, because being able to heal instantly for little to no work is so hard." I mean really, I started playing in Alpha 1.1.2_01, and I feel hunger was one of the best decisions they ever made, it gave you something that you had to constantly keep up with, and it made Survival Minecraft feel, like, I dunno, a survival game? (What a concept!)
Also, I am not going to comment on the Minecraft is becoming WoW thing, because I seriously doubt anybody in this thread wishes to see me go off on a five-paragraph tangent. I will also not comment on using mods, because, while the mods could accomplish what you wish to happen, using them or not is totally your decision. And I am also a Vanilla player so I understand why you made the decision you did.

That is a very well thought out and detailed response.

Ah well, to each their own. I have liked the majority of Jeb's updates.

I don't really see how that is unfortunate. If not for Jeb then we might still have Notch developing, or maybe even nobody.

BTW, you mean that decent mod run by a person whose head is so far up his own ass that it loops around back into its normal position? Meh.

If you enter the Nether without a Flint n Steel handy then you kind of deserve it for not being prepared.
