Love everything except carpets in this update.
Still find them pointless for a server, I guess you can make use of it with texturepacks and single player adventures.
Time will tell...
Carpets allow for the second floor on a house to have wool floor, but not have the first floor with a wool ceiling. -
Jun 13, 2013jokrage posted a message on Snapshot 13w24a Ready For Testing! These snapshot news topics suck.Posted in: News
The picture has nothing to do with the snapshot and(It does, but I had to use the wiki to figure that out.) part of the changelog is 'things and stuff'. Really? Things and stuff?!? We want to know what is actually added, not things and stuff. Also it should describe what these features do, not just list them.
Otherwise, awesome new snapshot! -

Farlander would only fit, if they were ALWAYS found at the Farlands, building settlements there.
Then the name would be PERFECT.

You crawl out of the bush and begin to look for water. Testing your strength, you stand up. A headache begins to brew, but you can walk easily. After about ten minutes, you run into a small pond. It's muddy, covered in plants and algae, and there are some frogs and fish in and around the pond.
0
You crawl over to a harmless bush and lie down within the leaves. Your head begins to feel better, so you rip off some nearby leaves and pin them to the wound. As you rest, the pain begins to lessen. After some time, the bleeding stops.
Condition: Condition: Knife wound in back, Very Thirsty, Light Pain.
Inventory: Makeshift flint spear, Bloody steel knife.

You pick off a ripe strawberry and nibble the end of it. It isn't very sweet, but nothing bad seemed to happen. You greedily rip off each and every red berry, eating everything from the tip to the leaves. The juice is amazing, and you savour every drop.
Condition: Condition: Bleeding knife wound in back, Thirsty, Light-headed, Pain.

Glad to clear up any confusion!
You look around for fruit or nuts on the trees, and notice a bush with easily recognizable fruit. Strawberries. You crawl over to the plant. There are only a few that seem ripe, and they look clean of anything harmful.

I'm sorry, I don't believe you understand the way this topic works. Instead of the usual RP, everybody controls the same character. We are currently playing as a District 11 tribute named Katelyn. All posts control her, and I control the results of her actions, the random events, and how the whole game works.

You manage to crawl around the area, but are unable to stand up. Because of this, you are unable to reach any suitable leaves. Instead, you begin to crawl around to look for water. As you check your inventory, you realize that the knife is steel!
Looking for water has now been side-tasked. It will be addressed every post.
Condition: Condition: Bleeding knife wound in back, Parched, Light headache, Light-headed, Groggy, Extreme pain.
Inventory: Makeshift flint spear, Bloody steel knife.
0
You slowly pull out the knife, and it painfully comes out, but the blood is minimal.
Condition: Condition: Bleeding knife wound in back, Parched, Light headache, Light-headed, Groggy, Extreme pain.
0
You rest some more, but despite your efforts, you doze off. You wake up in the morning with a completely dry mouth and extreme aching in your back. It seems that the bandage fell off, but the bleeding had stopped by that time.
Condition: Condition: Knife wound in back, Parched, Light headache, Light-headed, Groggy, Extreme pain.
0
You look around the area and recall the forest you saw before, but there were no trees like this.
0
You do not know any plants that can help.
As you did before when making the spear, you rip off more of your pants. The bandage is large enough but there isn't a way to hold it down. You test it by holding it there yourself. It works a lot better than the leaves, and absorbs some blood.
Condition: Condition: Temporarily bandaged knife wound in back, Massive headache, Extremely light-headed, Dizzy, Extreme pain, Tired, Very thirsty.
0
You guess that the sun will set in about an hour.
0
You slowly move your head, but see nothing of interest. You spend the next ten minutes collecting leaves and twigs in an attempt to cover yourself. After the pain is too much, you rest.
0
You rest for five minutes. Your head is better and the bleeding has slowed. You attempt to get up, then fall in pain as your headache explodes.
Condition: Slowly bleeding knife wound in back, Massive headache, Extremely light-headed, Dizzy, Extreme pain, Tired, Very thirsty.
You shake your fist in the air, muttering curses to RNGesus.
0
You hold the leaves to the wound and wait. After a few minutes, it slows. You begin to pull out the knife. It's incredibly painful, and the bleeding starts again. You repeat. Now, you begin to feel extremely light-headed. Also, the knife isn't coming out. The pain is too much to handle.
Condition: Bleeding knife wound in back, Extremely light-headed, Dizzy, Heavy pain, Very thirsty.
0
You find an easily recognizable tree and rip off some leaves. They don't work very well, and you have to manually hold them in place.
Condition: Out of breath, Bleeding knife wound in back, Thirsty.
Inventory: Make-shift spear, Knife (sort of).
