Veinminer is responsible for the crash. I've never used it, and my ability to read crash reports has gotten pretty bad since I haven't crashed at all in a couple of years, but removing it should fix the problem. It may be missing another mod that is required, or perhaps is incompatible with something else on your list, but I'm not certain.
Is there a way to prevent Pokemobs from dropping things like meat and hide? I love the mod, but this is something that bugs me quite a bit for some reason.
Fair enough. I know it's already in the 'planned features' but I just wanted to say I'd love for a config file to add/remove items from the drop list, along with rarity, whenever you have time to work on the mod.
I thought it was a Runescape reference as well. Is there another game where chopping trees gives you random loot from bird's nests, or did the idea just come to you at random?
I was initially scared of creepers, as everyone is, but overcame that eventually. Honestly, nothing in Minecraft is much of a threat anymore. Even the Wither is more of a minor annoyance, with basic equipment. If you count mods, though- I'm always afraid I've made a typo while programming my Computercraft robots, and they'll turn the spot where my house is into a quarry while I'm offline.
Are you looking for a laptop or a desktop? If a desktop, I could build something pretty good for that price range, Minecraft would be running in the hundreds. If you're interested in that, PM me- You'll have to assemble it yourself, but it's really quite simple.
If you're looking for a laptop, you're going to have a hard time at that price range. Whatever you do, don't buy anything with Intel HD Integrated graphics- you'll be lucky to get 30 fps.
If you're still taking requests, I'd like to make one. A bit of background info, first- The server I play on most frequently uses the Dragon Block C mod, which comes with a built in character editor for the various races. This character editor more or less replaces your skin completely, meaning you don't need one on that server. I've gotten rather attached to the look of my character there though, and would love to have them on singleplayer/other servers as well. Below are screenshots of the character from multiple angles, including one from the inventory to show the top of the head. Note that while most of the body is uniform in color, no shading or anything, there is a bit of muscle definition on the limbs. If you do it, please do not include anything regarding the tail- It's too large to look right as part of a skin.
The skin aside for a moment, though- I notice that in your May post, your computer had a virus. It's obviously been a while since May, but if you are still having any trouble with it, PM me. I'm certified in IT, and enjoy removing viruses for people.
I remember playing this mod years ago, back in 1.7.3 beta, I believe. I wish you luck in reviving it once again, 115kino.
Drakoflame, while those are neat ideas, they should be optional sub-mods at the very most. Changing the fluid mechanics to be finite would really destroy compatibility with other mods, and would be extremely difficult to tie to world gen. You'd almost certainly have to edit a config file to change between finite and infinite, which would be annoying if you play worlds other than wasteland as well. I think this mod works best as just a world gen, with other mods filling in anything else a player wants.
Have you considered making this mod open source? Java/Minecraft isn't my area of expertise when it comes to coding, but I'd be more than willing to take a crack at updating this to 1.7.10.
Alright, so just bad luck that it happened so close then? Thought maybe it was something that was supposed to happen late game triggered by mistake, or a pokemon attack with the wrong value for explosive damage. Good to know.
If I have time later, I'll take a look through the source code. As I said, I'm not a Minecraft modder, but I know a decent amount of Java from the other stuff I do. If I see anything that could be done more efficiently, or any major issues I'd know how to fix, I'll let you know. No promises, though, as the last time I actually attempted to change code for Minecraft was before the creation of Forge, and very early in the life of modloader, so I'm a bit rusty.
About two minutes after I created this world for testing, I took 8 hearts of damage, and saw explosions surrounding me from every side, covering my entire view from the ground. Switched to creative to see what happened, and saw that. The pokemon center is only a few blocks out of sight from the bottom left

Why is the download an adware-installing EXE now on 1.7.10? That's really scummy.

I suggest changing the name as well. If there's a book you should name a server/mod after, it's not the autobiography of Adolf Hitler.

That works much better, thank you! No delay at all, and much more intelligent. I'll keep testing, but no issues so far.
