    hi

    are you using optifine ?
what texture pack are you using?

if the textures for those animals arent a power of two that might be the problem it means that his graphic drivers dont support textures that arent a power of two like mine but i cant use this mod right now to see if it is true

I think those are already in, sometimes pokemobs get caught with just 1 shake

Edit: but they don't currently scale with the number you have caught

would be cool if you could make the chance of them occurring based in the number of pokemon caught like in the games. it make sense since it can be interpreted as the trainer becoming more experient at throwing pokeballs after caught a lot of pokemons

i have a idea for evolving inkay on the 3ds you need to hold it upside down while inkay is leveled up to lv30 for it to evolve, on minecraft you would need to place a name tag with dinnerbone on one inkay for making it upside down and when you level up it to level 30 it would evolve and the name dinnerbone would disappear this is a little pointless but it would look good

not really possible I'm afraid, for the same reason I can't do it for Pixelmon. Every pokemon mob is an instance of the same class. Pixelmon and Pokedex are the only mods I have run across that do this (there are probably others, just I've only seen it with those two) - perhaps as a result of the sheer number of mobs they have to add.

The icons work by having one icon per class. If all the mobs use the same class, the best I can do is a single icon for all of them (like a pokeball or something). Potentially, with motivation I could dig really deep into their code and figure out how to get each version's model. Even then, it's probably a custom model I'd need to figure out how to read. Would at least be easier than with Pixelmon, as Pokecube's models are basically cube based. Or at least add in a way to specify an icon for each type (would still need to dig into the code to figure out how to determine type). More work than I want to do to support a single mod really

I think that a single icon is enough. For pokecube it would be a cubic pokeball and for pixelmon it would be a round pokeball

    patreon.png discord.png

The normal Minecraft experience but in amazing 128x HD! Between a better sky and amazing shadowing, this pack is different from the rest! Gives a shaders feel without the awful FPS drop! I originally created this pack as there was no real/definitive default experience in HD with better shading. This does not just add more pixels like, for example, faithful. This keeps the original style and pixels, just shaded and in HD.

Back when I made this back in 2015, it was an instant hit, and I kept it up to date until 1.8 where I then took a hiatus from the community, however, I am back and better than ever and want to give you (the people) what you want and request. So After countless people asking me to update this pack, I am finally doing it. Current build (alpha) is for 1.16x but is not complete. This will be a long project as there is a lot of changes since I was gone. In this time I have created a few sky packs, most notably my largest project to date Ultimate Skys. You can read up on that and download the trial of it HERE. To support me and the time I will be putting into this project, I have a Patreon set up where you can support me.

Please consider becoming a Patreon to help me along the way with the pack. Means the world to me and allows me to dedicate more time to the progress of the texture pack. I also have a Discord Community dedicated to the project. Feel free to join!

(Please NOTE: This pack looks much better with Optifine, but does not require it. Though it is recommended)

    Change Log:
    v1.0- First Release for 1.7.10
    v1.5- Release for 1.8x
    v2.0- Release for 1.12.x

    Mutant Creatures

    by thehippomaster21

Want to contribute to the Mutant Creatures? Help add content on the virtually empty wiki here!

    Thanks to Bockwurst

Gunpowder... Spice... And everything nice. These were the ingredients chosen to create the perfect pet creatures. But Professor HippoMaster accidentally added an extra ingredient to the concoction... Chemical X! Thus the Mutant Creatures were born! (Semi-quoted from a famous kids TV show..)

    Monsters

Mutant creatures do spawn on their own, but rarely..

    Mutant Enderman

You thought the normal enderman was scary? Meet the mutant enderman
With a stunning 100 hearts, this massive arm-growing mutant has seven life threatening attack tactics:

    Forced Look
Much like the normal enderman, the mutant enderman is also normally neutral unless stared at. But the second you look away from its gaze, the mutant enderman pulls you in towards it and blinds you at the same time!
That's not it. The mutant enderman gets angered if it sees you wearing a pumpkin or sometimes just randomly; and if it's angry, it'll automatically attack you!

    Teleport

Don't think that the mutant enderman is just as simple as your typical enderman. When the mutant enderman teleports, it emits its ender-soul that produces a huge impact, knocking all mobs around it, while occasionally blinding them, and dealing 2 hearts of damage! Best be more careful when near this monster!

    Melee Attack
Of course, if its hands are all free, the mutant enderman can use its basic melee attack with one of its four arms. Beware, because although the mutant enderman's inner arms deal 4 hearts of damage, its outer arms deal 5 hearts! Never underestimate the simplest attack!

    Throwing Blocks

The enderman carries blocks? Well the mutant enderman carries up to four blocks and throws them at you! Be careful. This ranged attack deals 3-4 hearts at a direct hit, and 2 hearts as splash damage.

    Clone Tactic

Thought you cornered this majestic beast? Think again!
The mutant enderman's clone attack spawns eight of the mutant enderman's endersoul minions to torment you. Along with that, the mutant enderman itself becomes disguised as one of them too, just a bit larger in size.
During this attack, the clones will randomly attack their target by dealing 0.5 hearts of melee damage, as well as teleporting randomly. Take note that in this form, the mutant enderman deals 3 hearts for each attack and heals 1 heart for each successful attack!
Better knock the real mutant enderman to break the spell automatically!

    Telesmash

The mutant enderman doesn't just teleport. It teleports you too!
Watch out for its telesmash, which bends you through space and time into the air, hitting you with 3 hearts AND dealing fall damage!
That's not it! Some people get nauseous after traveling through space and time, and you do too! Try continuing your fighting after THAT!

    Scream

Not many have lived to tell a tale of the scream of the mutant enderman. Although the mutant enderman still takes damage in rain, fighting it in rain will much increase its tendency to scream!
Along with delivering the voice of Death himself, the mutant enderman's scream deals 2 hearts of armor-piercing damage from its impact, and STOPPING THE RAIN if raining!
If you're lucky, you may individually avoid the scream's effects of major poisoning, lengthy weakness, crazy energy depleting (hunger), and troublesome nausea. However, if you're unlucky, this scream could kill you in seconds..

    Death

Have you killed this monster? Good job! There's just one more barrier you need to get past:

When you kill the mutant enderman, its soul becomes unstable and deteriorates. But when this happens, the mutant enderman shoots out endersoul fragments that can explode within a few seconds, blasting you around and dealing some damage!

However, now you can grab that pumpkin and slap it on your head to prevent the impacts of the fragments and most of the damage.

Luckily, you'll be rewarded with eight drops of ender pearls or eye of enders.

    Drop

Wait, is that it? Where's the awesome prize to this exhausting battle? Well, you have to make it!

While that mutant enderman is dying, you can actually collect endersoul fragments by right-clicking them before they explode. Right-click again while sneaking if you want to drop an endersoul fragment.

Now with some endersoul fragments following you, all you have to do is drop (not right-click) an eye of ender, and viola!
The combination of the endersoul fragments and the eye of ender transform into your very own endersoul hand, with 60 uses for each fragment originally following you!

    Endersoul Hand

The endersoul hand deals 3 hearts as a melee attack, and has 240 maximum uses. It provides you with two abilities:

:Iron: Right-click blocks to pick them up, and right-click again to throw them far away (or at mobs)!

:Iron: Right-click while sneaking to teleport to any block within a radius of 128 blocks, as well as hitting nearby mobs from the impact! However, this ability damages the hand by four uses instead of one use.

Also, if your endersoul hand is running out of uses and you have some spare endersoul fragments, just toss out your endersoul hand while the fragments are following you, and it'll recharge the hand again (with 60 uses each fragment)!

    Mutant Skeleton

It's risen from the ruins! It's the mutant skeleton!
This unholy creature has 75 hearts, and four bone-chilling attacks:

    Ranged Attack

Just like normal skeletons, mutant skeletons shoot you with arrows too. Unfortunately, their arrows go through all bodies and can deal random effects such as poison, exhaustion, and movement slowdown. But all is not lost. If you can hit this creature right before it shoots the arrow, you may break its focus.

    Melee Attack

Once you get too close to the mutant skeleton, it'll whack you far away, so it can shoot you again! This may not deal very much damage, but it'll take you a long time to get back!

    Multi-Shot Attack

Too good at dodging arrows? Try dodging this! The mutant skeleton jumps into the air and fires six arrows at you!

    Constrict

Wonder what that huge ribcage is used for? Squeezing the life out of you! In this attack, the mutant skeleton quickly smashes you together with its ribs and sends you up into the air! Seems like a tight situation! (Sorry for bad pun)

    Healing
Just like the mutant zombie, the mutant skeleton doesn't burn in the day. Instead, it heals one heart every five seconds at night! I'd wait for the sun to rise!

    Death
Finally killed the undead abomination? Careful! When the mutant skeleton dies, it's body bursts into pieces, and getting hit by flying bones will hurt! If you're still not dead, congratulations! You can now pick up (right-click) the pieces of your victory!

    Mutant Skeleton Armor
But what do you do with these bones other than decoration and bragging? You craft some mutant skeleton armor! Make sure not to forget a piece. Every bone must be used! Although the full armor set is slightly weaker than iron, it has some special effects!

When the Mutant Skeleton Helmet is equipped, all critical midair arrow shots deal double the damage! However, there's a drawback! If you're not airborne, arrow shots will deal half the damage, and you can't get critical shot arrows! Also, 50% of the time, your arrow resources won't be depleted!

Skeleton arms are part of the crafting recipe for the Mutant Skeleton Chestplate.

The skeleton ribcage is part of the crafting recipe for the Mutant Skeleton Chestplate.

While also being the strongest mutant skeleton armor piece, when the Mutant Skeleton Chestplate is equipped, bows charge at four times the original rate!

How will you survive without strong armor? Be nimble with the Mutant Skeleton Leggings. When these are equipped, the player gains a Speed II boost! Dodge those attacks!

Kind of hard to stay airborne and use your Mutant Skeleton Chestplate ability? No problem! With the Mutant Skeleton Boots equipped, You can jump much higher, especially when sprinting!

Once you have everything equipped, you'll look something like this:

Or if you have the Animated Player Mod (shameless advertising), like this:

    Teach those skeletons who's boss!

    Mutant Zombie

Is that the HuLk?! Nope. It's just the mutant zombie.
This monster has 75 hearts of health! Watch out for its three devastating attacks:

    Melee Attack

If you get close to it, the mutant zombie slams the ground and hits everything in front of it! Be warned. The mutant zombie's slam attack deals a range of up to 12 hearts of damage! Also, there's a 25% chance you'll become hungry (affected by hunger)!

    Roar Attack

Don't this guy off, because he might just get angry and roar! When the mutant zombie roars, the impact deals half a heart to any entity nearby. But this isn't a simple attack. The mutant zombie is resurrecting zombie minions from the earth to support him! Summoning up to six zombies depending on the environment (spawns less in the day), you'd better run or break the blocks to stop zombies from spawning!

    Throw Attack

Best stay as far away as possible from this beast. If he gets a hold of you, the mutant zombie will throw you up into the air, and then slam you down! This is the mutant zombie's most damaging attack, dealing fall damage, and attack damage.

    Healing
The mutant zombie isn't like a normal zombie. It does not burn in daylight, but instead, it heals one heart every five seconds at night! If I were you, I'd start running!

    Death

Think you've finally killed the mutant zombie? THINK AGAIN.
If you don't completely incinerate the mutant zombie's body seven seconds after it dies, it will come back to life. It may not have full health, but it's ready to fight again! Of course, after three kills, the mutant zombie will die without burning.

You can watch the body of the mutant zombie vanish as it burns..

    Hulk Hammer

Once you've finally killed the mutant zombie, it will drop a hulk hammer. This weapon has 64 uses, and it creates an attack just like the mutant zombie's melee attack! Good job not dying!

    Mutant Creeper

What is there to fear about the mutant creeper? What is there not to fear?
With a health of 60 hearts, the mutant creeper has five spine-chilling attack tactics:

    Direct Attack
When using its direct attack, the mutant creeper swings its head at you, and hits you! Yup, that's right.
Take note that blocking with a sword will prevent you from being pushed back.

    Jump Attack

Can't see the enemy? Maybe you should check the air. Beware, because by using its jump attack, the mutant creeper flies into the air, and lands by creating an explosion. Might wanna stay away from this monster.

    Spawning Minions

Do you see those little creepers? That's what Professor HippoMaster's experiment was supposed to create. Well, the experiment worked! There's just one problem: they aren't helping you; they're helping the enemy. If you make the mutant creeper angry, it'll throw a maximum of four little creeper minion directly at you. Even worse, the minions are targeting you at the same time! Now would be a good time to run.

    Charge Attack

Can't seem to hit the mutant creeper? You can take the chance when it uses the charged attack! The mutant creeper will freeze and flash five times, giving you the right amount of time to inflict some damage! Be quick, because if you don't break it out of the charge by the sixth flash, the mutant creeper will gain 15 hearts of health!

    Lightning Attack
    However, it isn't that easy.

Each time a mutant creeper charges, there's a one out of six chance that it's actually waiting for you to get closer! And if you do, it'll summon a bolt of lightning down on itself, making it stronger! Be very cautious...

Dangerous? No? Watch out for the powered mutant.

This mutant creates bigger explosions. His minions are powered too.

    Healing

Think you can give the mutant creeper a taste of its own medicine? Too bad, because the mutant creeper heals from explosions (not including explosions from other mutant creepers)! Try not to use TNT!

    Death
And when you think you've finally killed this monster, something else happens:

That mutant creeper is charging up its last amount of energy! You'd better run now, because once it's done charging, you'll have to face the biggest explosion yet! THEN, the mutant creeper will finally be dead.

For killing the mutant creeper, you are rewarded with its egg!

You can right-click it to put it onto your head and carry it around. Eggs can be stacked on your head as well! This egg needs 3-5 minecraft days for it to hatch.

Of course, you can speed up the process by blowing your egg up (multiple times)! Once it does hatch, it becomes your personal...

    Creeper Minion

Just like wolves and cats, your creeper minion will follow you around, unless you right-click it, making it sit. Here's a creeper minion sitting down. They won't despawn. A tamed creeper minion has a few features:
:tnt: Give it TNT, and it will become continuous -- it won't die from its own explosions
:tnt: If it already is continuous, its blast radius will increase by 0.2
:GP: Give it gunpowder and it'll heal 2 hearts
:GP: If at full health, it's maximum health will increase by half a heart

    Creeper Stats
Can't tell how much health your minion has? Forgot whether your minion can only explode one time? Check its information with the creeper stats item:

Right-click a tamed creeper minion with this to see its info. You can even change its name!

Changing Name - click the top button and type in your new name; then click the button again to finalize it.
Blast Radius - default creeper minion blast radius is 1.0; a normal creeper's blast radius is 2.0

    Creeper Shard

However, if you break the egg before it hatches, it'll occasionally drop a creeper shard. The creeper shard starts with no power, but it gains a bit of energy from each mob you hit. Once you right-click, depending on the amount of energy the shard has, it'll create an explosion, then resetting the power back to zero!

Of course there's just one drawback: every once in a while, the creeper shard must drain energy to keep working and in doing so poisons the user for about 5 seconds.

    Loot
Of course, if breaking the creeper egg does not yield a creeper shard, it will drop 5 to 10 gunpowder.

    Mutant Snow Golem

    Feeling lonely?
Then the mutant snow golem is the right creature for you! Just add some Chemical X to your typical snow golem, and viola! Your monster-killing snowman is created!

With it's mesmerizing fiery eyes, you'll never be bored again! The mutant snow golem has a few features:

    Ground Freeze

The mutant snow golem automatically freezes every water block nearby and also creates a path of snow! This only works when it is standing on the ground.

    Monster Attack

Like a normal snow golem, the mutant snow golem automatically attacks mobs, except instead, he throws huge chunks of ice which deal up to 6 hearts!

    Healing

If your mutant snow golem is injured, simply throw some snowballs at it. It'll heal one heart per snowball.

    Following

If you want your mutant snow golem to follow you, right-click it, and your name will appear above its head! Take note the mutant snow golem doesn't have the best vision and may take some weird paths to you.

    Melting
If you manage to knock a mutant snow golem into the water (without it freezing the water), it'll deal 8 hearts of damage to the mutant snow golem.

    Drop
Currently, the death of your poor companion will leave 32 to 48 snowballs, as well as its lighted pumpkin head.

    Spider Pig

    It's a spider! It's a pig! No! IT'S BOTH!

You thought the "spider pig" from the Simpsons movie was made up for fun?? It was actually originally based off of Professor Hippomaster's spider pig!!! (Disclaimer: The "spider pig" from the Simpsons movie was not actually based off of the spider pig in this mod)

After the subject of an experiment to combine a spider with a pig escaped from the laboratory, they started infecting and populating the whole Minecraft world!!

The spider pig has 25 hearts and has the abilities of both spiders and pigs! It can climb walls, is unaffected by poison, and can move quickly through webs (so basically only the abilities of spiders). Also, it will attack any normal pig or spider and transform them into spider pigs once they die as well!

    Attack
When provoked, the spider pig leaps at its target either attacking its target or immobilizing the target in a web block. Although it's attack is typically not strong, when the target is inside a web, the spider pig deals 2 extra hearts of damage!

    Taming

Unlike the normal spider however, the spider pig has the brain of a domesticated animal and can be tamed, but only in specific circumstances. When the spider pig has 4 or less hearts remaining, and it kills a tamed creeper minion, it will devour the creeper minion's soul and become tamed to the player whose creeper minion was killed.

Once tamed, the spider pig can be ridden! Instead of jumping, the spider pig performs a charge attack by leaping forward and dealing 1 heart of damage to nearby mobs. Careful, charging too often in a short amount of time will make it overworked.

Spider pigs can be fed porkchops or spider eyes to heal 2-4 hearts of health.

Chemical X - Make Your Mutant

Itching for battle? Dying for a strong companion? Your dreams have arrived in a small bottle of Chemical X!

Throwing Chemical X onto the ground creates a skull spirit that picks one random mob nearby and infects it.

Then, (if a mutant is available), there's a 50% chance that the mob will turn into a mutant! If not, it'll kill the mob. Use wisely!

To prevent problems, you can throw Chemical X directly at an entity to infect it.

A .cfg file can be found in .minecraft/config and opened with text reader (notepad, wordpad, etc) which allows the user to:

:GoldBar: enable or disable mob spawns
:GoldBar: change the spawnrate of the mobs from 1 to 20 (even at 20, spawnrate isn't super common)

    FAQ

Posts that are answered in the FAQ can and will be ignored.

    Q: I keep getting a java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError crash. What's wrong?
A: You may have forgotten to install the AnimationAPI. Check the download section.

Q: Can you make this for modloader?
A: Unfortunately, I need forge for many of my things to work. Exporting to modloader is too troublesome, so sorry. I can't make a modloader version.

    Q: Can you make a mutant ?
A: I'm planning on making a mutant for most of the creatures in minecraft. Please do not flood me with suggestions unless I am currently working on the mob you're talking about. Make sure your ideas haven't already been repeated. I will not make mutant boss mobs because they are already bosses, and too hard for me to make even better :) .

Q: Can I make a modpack with this mod in it?
A: If it's a private modpack, go ahead. Please do not use this mod in a public modpack or PM me asking for permission.

Q: Can I make a video of your mod?
A: You don't need permission from me to make a video of this mod :) Go ahead!

Q: Why didn't you answer my post?
A: I may have missed it. If it's important, then just type it again.

Q: What else have you made?
A: Check out my imgur for things I've worked on or that I'm working on!

Tmtravlr posted a message on Sound Filters - A Client-Side Mod (adds reverb to caves, and a few other things)

    Sound Filters

Hi everyone! This is a client-side mod which adds some filters to sounds.

It adds 3 things right now: reverb in caves, muted sounds when underwater/in lava and, and muted sounds when the sound source is behind a wall.

Screenshots won't do much good here =P, so I made a video to show a sample of what the filters do:

    Download

    https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/sound-filters

    Installation

Download the recommended Forge version for the version of this mod that you have (from here) and install it.
    • Download this mod, and put it in the mods folder.
      • Run Minecraft, and enjoy your reverb. =)
        • (Note that this is a client-side mod, so it will work even if you connect to a server that doesn't have it, or a vanilla server.)

Also note that you can disable any of the features in the config file, and you can change the blocks which add extra reverb, don't affect reverb, eliminate reverb, and cancel more sound when the sound source is behind them.

I want and plan to create an API which will allow anybody else who wants to create their own "sound filters" easily.

I got some inspiration from Better Sound (though I wanted to do this even before I knew about that mod), but this mod is forge-compatible. =)

If you find any problems or bugs, please leave a comment with them. This wasn't that simple to make, so I won't be surprised if there are some bugs.

    Anyway, enjoy the sounds. =)

    Daveyx0 posted a message on Primitive Mobs v1.1beta - Last Updated 01/01/2018 - 1.12 beta version available!

    Update (01-01-2018):

For those who do not know yet. The mod is currently being ported to 1.12 here:

All info below if for the older 1.7.10 version.

    Update (24-10-2016):

A new version for 1.10.2 is in the making! The entire mod is being rewritten using the new Minecraft code as reference. It should make the mod a lot more stable and customizable. Progress and test versions are posted on the WIP thread: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/wip-mods/2188456-primitive-mobs-update-progress-suggestions-thread

    Hello Everyone!

I'm Daveyx0, a minecraft modder that loves to add new mobs into the game, and I present to you: Primitive Mobs.

Primitive Mobs is a mod that adds a variety of clever mobs, either fully original, inspired by other game franchises or brought back from outdated mods. It initially started as a project to revive KodaichiZero's amazing mods, but I soon found that I wanted to add some mobs of my own. I decided to go for mobs that feel simular to the original feeling of the game. Although the name is questionable, it is the reason why I went for Primitive Mobs and I like it. Now, this post will go over all the features that this mod offers. Please take your time to investigate, as I did my best to try and ensure that information is displayed in a clear way. Also take in mind that if you dislike a mob, you can disable it through the mod's configuration files. Open the spoilers to see the information. Thanks and enjoy!

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Prepare for a long list ^^

    ---------------------------------
    Docile:
    ---------------------------------

    Details:
    --------------------------
These are basically the same as all other Testificates. The only difference is that they spawn randomly in the world the way animals do. They will not despawn like any other testificate. However because they walk around randomly in your world, they don't have a place to hide from zombies. They trade random stuff as they choose random trade items from all testificate classes.

Same health as any other testificate: 20.
    They don't drop anything.

Spawn Time: Any time, Biomes: river, forest, plains, forestHills, extremeHills, desert , Location: Above ground.

    Extra:
If another mod adds items to the Testificate trading item list, this fellow will also choose from those items.

    Details:
    --------------------------
These don't act like normal Testificates apart from the fact that they are scared of zombies. You can't trade with them and they only appear underground. When you find one, it will follow you around while crying for help (crying particles). You can choose to leave it to die or bring him back to the surface (above y = 60) to make him happy. When on the surface, right-click it for your emerald reward (between 1 and 6 emeralds)! You can only help every Lost Miner once.

Same health as any other testificate: 20.
    They don't drop anything.

Spawn Time: Any time, Biomes: all biomes , Location: Underground (below y = 60)

    Extra:
Zombies love to attack these guys, making the chance of the player finding a testificate zombie way higher.

    Details:
    --------------------------
Well, these guys are quite weird aren't they? This is what happens when a villager spends his life ripping off players.... they turn into sheepman and go to hell. Lovely. So these guys are doomed to roam the Nether but they still love shiny things! The only shiny thing to be found in the Nether is.... gold nuggets (from zombie pigman). They combine them into gold ingots and trade with those. How they got the other stuff? Magic. Anyway this makes trading with them way more profitable than with villagers. These guys will follow you around when you hold a gold nugget. They run away from zombie pigmen though. They actually despawn like mobs so....give them a free gold block to make them not-despawn! Then lure them through a portal or make them a house and they will not despawn so you can always trade! Also they obviously make sheep noises and are immune to fire :3

Same health as any other testificate: 20.
    They don't drop anything.

Spawn Time: Any time, Biomes: Nether , Location: Everywhere

    Extra:
    It's a great Gold Sink!

    Bugs:
    - They can still change into testificate zombies when killed by a zombie.

    Details:
    --------------------------
That looks heavy doesn't it? These guys are like Sheepman however they do not trade like normal. They love smithing and keep doing it even in the Nether. Because they travel around a lot they take their anvil with them. How did they get it? Again... magic! You can repair your tools for specific payment of gold nuggets. If you don't have enough gold nuggets he will emit "disapproval" particles and not repair. The specific costs are below. Just right-click him with the damaged tool, then he will repair it and automatically take the payment. Like the sheepman you can make them follow using a gold block and giving them one for free will make them not-despawn. However they are rarer than normal Sheepman.

Same health as any other testificate: 20.
    They don't drop anything.

Spawn Time: Any time, Biomes: Nether , Location: Everywhere, Extra: Rare

    Extra:
    It's a great Gold Sink!

    Bugs:
    - Don't rapid click him when repairing!! It can result into double cost for some reason!
    - They can still change into testificate zombies when killed by a zombie.

    (This one is NEW!)

    Details:
    --------------------------
Check out this neat little critter. At least.... if you can find one. These are chameleons and they change color depending on what block they stand on or in. Have fun experimenting with them!

    Health: 10
    Drops: Camouflage Dye (not 100%)

Spawn Time: Any time, Biomes: plains, forests and jungles , Location: Above ground

    Extra:
You can tame them with a watermelon (check out the Pets section).

    ---------------------------------
    Hostile:
    ---------------------------------

    Details:
    --------------------------
The Haunted Tool is an enemy mob. They attack any player on sight.
Haunted Tools come in different appearences. They can spawn as a pickaxe, an axe, a shovel or a sword. This is randomly decided. However they also come in different tiers which correspond to the Minecraft tool materials. They can spawn as a wooden, a stone, an iron, a gold or a diamond tool. Different factor depend on their tier.
    Here is a list:

1 Strength = 0.5 heart damage without armor

Wooden Tools: Strength: 1, Health: 10
Stone Tools: Strength: 2, Health: 20
Gold Tools Strength: 5, Health: 5
    Iron/Steel Tools: Strength: 3, Health: 30

Diamond Tools: Strength: 4, Health: 50

Here is a rarity table for the tools. There is a very rare variant called the Precious Pickaxe. Take a look at the items section to see what it does!
    Tier Rarity Table:
    Wood Tool - 35%
    Stone Tool - 30%
    Gold Tool - 20%
    Iron Tool - 10%
    Diamond Tool - 4,75%
    Precious Pickaxe - 0,25%

When killed, they drop themselves of course 100%. This makes finding a diamond tool worth killing it.

Spawn Time: Nighttime above ground, any time underground, Biomes: all biomes , Location: Above ground and underground.

    Extra:
These are actual floating items, meaning that these are texture pack compatible!

    Details:
    --------------------------
Whenever you find a chest in a mineshaft, you are overjoyed! Untill now... now you can never be sure anymore... Mimics are chest-like enemies which spawn in caves. They will appear as normal chests. When the player right-clicks them, what will happen is a mystery. Is it an actual chest, a booby trap or an evil mimic chest? Find out!

    Health: 20
    Strength: 2
    Drops: 1 Chest 100%

Here is a list of all possible outcomes when right-clicking a mimic when encountered:
    Turns into a:
A chest with actual dungeon loot - 2%
A chest with skeleton related loot and spawns a Skeleton Warrior - 5%
A chest with tool-crafting related loot and spawns a Haunted Tool - 8%
    A chest that explodes! - 9%
A chest with bad loot and spawns some bats - 10%
A zombie with a chest on its head - 20%
    A mimic chest mob - 45%
A mimic ender chest mob with increased strength and which drops an ender chest - 1%

Spawn Time: Any time underground, Biomes: all biomes , Location: Underground (below y = 40)

    Extra:
Their loot takes the item directly from the Mineshaft loot list. So if any other mod would add items to that, they would also appear in these chests!
Also their in-game name is Mimic Chest so it doesn't interfere with other mods hopefully.
You can disable the feature of it changing into a chest for adventure map use.

    Details:
    --------------------------
This is probably the main attraction of this mod. They are cute, colorful and awesome! They act and look the same as any other slime though. Treasure Slimes have a specific item in them. When killed they will drop this item. Large slimes almost always have something different then a slimeball in them. A medium slime has a bigger chance of getting a slimeball, while a small slime will always contain a slimeball. There is a large variety of items that the slime can contain. The colour and emitted particles depend on that item.

    Health: Depends on size
    Strength: Depends on size
    Drops: The contained item

Apart from the normal Slime spawn locations:
Spawn Time: Any time underground, Biomes: all biomes , Location: Underground (below y = 40)

    Item Rarity table:
    Heart (Tameable) - 15%
    Slimeball - 6%
    Cookie - 6%
    Enderpearl - 6%
    Glowstone dust - 6%
    Gold ingot - 6%
    Gunpowder - 6%
    Iron ingot - 6%
    Redstone dust - 6%
    Blaze Powder - 6%
    Lapis Lazuli - 6%
    Snowball - 6%
    Magma Cream - 3%
    Cake - 3%
    Diamond - 3%
    Emerald - 2%
    Golden Apple - 2%
    Fire Charge - 2%

    Remember KodaichiZero?
He/She made one of the best mob mods out there, however Kodaichi has abandoned some of his/her mods when new Minecraft updates arrived. I decided to update some of his/her classics. Check below for credits.

    So here they are:

    Original Topic: http://www.minecraft...er-families-v5/
    Details:
    --------------------------
    Mother Spider:
Mother Spiders spawn with 0-6 baby spiders. They are quite strong and will do anything to protect their children. A Mother Spider will attack players on sight or when one of her babies is being attacked. One baby spider will always be on her back.

    Health: 20
    Strength: 4
Drops: The normal spider drops or rarely a Spider Egg

Spawn Time: Nighttime above ground, any time underground, Biomes: all biomes , Location: Above ground and underground.

    Baby Spider:

Baby spiders only spawn with a Mother Spider. They will follow their mother around everywhere. They don't attack players unless provoked. When their mother is being attacked, they will attack the attacker to protect her. When attacking they emit smoke particles out of anger. When the Mother Spider dies, they cry (crying particles) and will wander around aimlessly. However they will still attack when provoked.

    Health: 10
    Strength: 2
    Drops: the normal spider drops

    Extra:
    Baby Spiders can be tamed!!
Mother Spiders rarely drop Spider Eggs.
Spider Eggs can be used to spawn a Baby Spider! This baby spider will then see you as its mother! See the pets section for more information!

These little buggers form a new threat to every Minecrafter. Not only do they explode like normal creepers, they do it in a more devious way. They approach the player and JUMP UP into the sky. When they land they explode! The jump makes it possible to evade however in a cave... there might not be enough space to jump so instant explosion! Miners beware...

    Health: 15
    Increased Speed!
    Drops: TNT (not 100%)

Don't worry they are rarer than normal creepers.

Spawn Time: Nighttime above ground, any time underground, Biomes: all biomes , Location: Above ground and underground.

    Extra:
Like other creepers, these take the no-griefing setting of a server into consideration.

    Details:

You thought rocket creepers were dangerous? Think again. These guys are sure to ruin your day. While they look so innocent, they are sure to give you an unpleasent welcome present in the form of Primed TNT! When attacking, they throw TNT when the player is further away. However when the player approaches, they run away instead of throwing. So it is best to just barge in and attack up close! Watch out though, they leave a trail of fire to protect themselves when running. When below 5 health they go berserk and start throwing TNT even when you are close! On top of this all, they are immune to fire and explosions O_o Good luck!

    Health: 25
Drops: Flint & Steel (not 100%)

Don't worry they are way rarer than normal creepers.

Spawn Time: Nighttime above ground, any time underground, Biomes: all biomes , Location: Above ground and underground.

    Extra:
Like other creepers, these take the no-griefing setting of a server into consideration.
Festive Creepers will not throw additional TNT when you get inside a house.

These little suckers jump around beaches. They are like little parasites as they will grab onto the player's head when approached! Then they start sucking your brainzz like zombies!! Punch them to remove them from your head! Larger slimes are more dangerous.

    Health: Depends on size
    Strength: Depends on size
    Drops: Pink slime balls

Spawn Time: Any time of the day, Biomes: beach, ocean, river, Location: Above ground on Sand or Gravel blocks

    Extra:
They have a brain-sucking animation when on a player's head.

Here continue the mobs originally created by me:

    Details:
    --------------------------
When approached they actually act like normal creepers. That is... when they are alone. These guys act like supporters for other mobs. When there is another hostile mob close, they will follow it and add the following potion buffs to that mob: Strength 1, Fire Resistance 1 and Speed 1. When that mob is destroyed they will choose another mob when one is close, so make sure to get rid of them. When supporting a creeper while a player approaches, it will add another buff to the creeper.... IT WILL SUMMON A LIGHTING BOLT TO CHARGE IT! On top of that, it slows down nearby player by giving them a slowness potion effect. Without a mob to support, it will act like a normal creeper. So be on your guard.

    Health: 30
    Drops: Fire Charge (not 100%)

Don't worry they are rarer than normal creepers.

Spawn Time: Nighttime above ground, any time underground, Biomes: all biomes , Location: Above ground and underground.

    Extra:
Like other creepers, these take the no-griefing setting of a server into consideration.

    Details:
    --------------------------
They look slightly different from normal skeletons and are always prepared for sunlight. You will always find these guys wearing a leather helmet. If you look closely they have a sword on their back, with a reason. When further away they shoot arrows using their bow like any other skeleton. However when the player gets close to strike, they quickly switch to their sword! Also notice that they will back up when you get closer. When the player gets further away again, they grab their bow again! Smart little fellows.

    Health: 20
Drops: Bones, arrows and equipment (not 100%)

Spawn Time: Nighttime above ground, any time underground, Biomes: all biomes , Location: Above ground and underground.

    Extra:
    They can get enchanted equipment.

    Details:
    --------------------------
These mysterious floating books are long forgotten pieces of work. They now roam the worlds without any purpose. When encountered they don't attack the player instantly. Only when provoked they attack. They are pretty easy to defeat and on defeat they drop a randomly enchanted book! All enchanted books are within the limits of the original miecraft enchantments.

    Health:20
    Drops: Enchanted Book

High level enchantments are more rare however all enchantment types have equal chances of getting dropped.

    Level rarity table:
    Level 1 - 40%
    Level 2 - 30%
    Level 3 - 15%
    Level 4 - 10%
    Level 5 - 5%

Spawn Time: Any time underground, Biomes: all biomes , Location: Underground below y = 30

    Extra:
    They can get enchanted equipment.
NBT edit should enable you to specify the drop.

These evil villagers have learned the dark art of summoning and are not hesitant to use it against a player. They will spawn skull minions to fight for him and while doing so he will try to get as far away from the player as possible. He prefers his minions fighting for him. The skull minions come in a variety of colors and will have a variety of attacks: a red minions sets you on fire, a green minion poisons youa and a blue minions snags your weapon and drops it! So watch out for these fellows.

    Health:20
Drops: Skull Minions Orbs and very rarely a Mystery Egg

They are about as rare as witches

Spawn Time: Any time, Biomes: All Biomes , Location: Above ground

    Details:

The Blaze's brought their new friends! These mobs are no joke. They charge in as soon as they see you. They move with small rush attacks making them zig-zag a bit. Also, this makes them harder to hit with a bow, so watch out! Don't let them tackle you or you catch fire.... Good luck!

    Health: 20
    Increased Strength!
    Drops: Blaze powder (0-3)

Spawn Time: Any time, Biomes: Nether , Location: Everywhere

    Details:

These mobs are exclusive to swamp biomes, they pretend to be a lily pad but then when something gets close.. CHOMP! They can't see what's on top of their lily pad so you can still jump on them, just don't fall into the water or they will get you. They won't attack their own kind, but especially squids are not safe.

    Health: 12

    TNT Block - Explosion Particles
    Sugar Cane - Slime Particles

This part is a bit technical. But it should explain the configuration files. It is ESSENTIAL that you read this if you want to change the configuration.

The config files are located in the .minecraft/config/primitivemobs folder after launching the game with the mod at least once!

    General Config:
This contains three booleans (true or false) that can be changed to allow certain features to be enabled/disabled.
Only put true or false or it will reset
-Enable/disable blue skull minion weapon stealing ability vs mobs (to prevent overpowered use of it)
-Enable/disable villager sounds for the villager mobs (to prevent annoyance)
-Enable/disable Lily Lurker taking the lily pad block texture for its own lily pad. If disabled it will use the waterlily.png in my entity folder instead (for custom texture support)

    Spawn Config:
Here you can change the frequencies of mobs. Put 0 as a spawn frequency to disable spawning of that mob.

There is a boolean (true or false) in the spawn_rates config that changes the way the spawn frequencies are read by the mod.

If the Frequency Modifier Boolean is set to true:
It will take the mob frequencies and read them as percentages. So it will then take that as a percentage of the average mob frequency of each biome the mob will spawn in. For example: I want my Rocket Creeper to spawn 5 times as rare as the average frequency of mobs spawning. This average is 100% spawn frequency. So to make it 5 times as rare it needs to be 20% of the average spawn frequency. So I put in 20 for the Rocket Creeper. If I want it to be 3 times as common, I put in 300. Etc. Why this is usefull: It takes other mod mobs into concideration and will never overpopulate your world this way. Unpopulated areas will most likely end up not spawning my mobs, for which I still need to find a solution.

If the Frequency Modifier Boolean is set to false:
All frequencies are read like any other mod. Do note that the default is "true" so you need to change all frequencies to a way lower number to prevent overpopulation.

Important Note for users of for example JAS:
My mod adds spawns AFTER every other mod, so if you want to control it using an external API I advise you to put all mob frequencies to 0 in my config and spawn them using that API. Putting the frequency to 0 will prevent all spawning. No biome specific settings yet.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Updating from a previous version? I recommend you delete the config file from the previous version to prevent spawning issues. When having problems always make a new world to confirm these.

freeshiny posted a message on Joypad Mod - USB Controller, Split Screen [over 350K downloads]

Hi all,I've We have created a mod allowing you to control Minecraft with a joypad. It works both in SSP and SMP, and you can use it while simultaneously controlling regular MC with keyboard + mouse, allowing for something like split screen.
You can hook up multiple joypads, as many as your PC can handle :) .Get it here: http://retro-hack.bl...reen-on-pc.html

    1.9

The new version is out and it is Forge compatible (1.9)! I have moved outdated info to spoiler tags.

A new developer joined the board - eastsider98052. He is responsible for this new Forge port, and git repo. Great kudos to you sir! Everyone else if free to contribute as well - head to our github repo for the full sources - https://github.com/l...SplitscreenMod

Thanks bjbinc for updating it to 1.7.10 and 1.8! Your continued support is truly awesome.

New version is compatible with Forge 1.8.9, 1.8, 1.7.10 and 1.6.4 (they are separate downloads). Since this is a partial rewrite of the original mod, not everything is the same as before. Obviously, the mod should be now compatible with most Forge mods out there, given the same Minecraft version. Also, it features a new navigation scheme, using a virtual cursor controlled by analog stick. It allows the player to control all menus and GUI screens in game. Unfortunately, the old method - D-pad navigation - is not available in this version. It is planned for it to have a comeback in the future though, with improved compatibility. The installation method has changed. Since this is a Forge mod, it basically breaks up to these steps:

    1. Install Forge (if you don't already have it) - make sure the version is 1.6.4, 1.7.10, or 1.8
    2. Download mod and put in %appdata%\.minecraft\mods folder
    3. Play Minecraft Joypad/Splitscreen! (enable and configure in the in game "Controls" menu)

Guichaguri posted a message on BetterFps - Performance Improvements [1.11.2/1.11/1.10/1.9/1.8/1.7]

BetterFps is a Minecraft mod that add a few performance improvements, trying to be compatible with other mods.

    Improvements

All improvements can be enable or disabled in the config file (config/betterfps.json) or in the options menu (Options -> BetterFps Options) (For older versions, press F12 while in game).

    Algorithm

Changes sin() and cos() algorithm. There are 7 algorithms. Each one of them might help a lot, but might also make your framerate worse, it really depends on the hardware of your computer.
Currently, it's pretty similar from what FpsPlus used to do, but it doesn't edit base classes.

I have plans to expand this, not in more algorithms, but in algorithm generation based on benchmarks.

    Memory Preallocation

Removes a RAM preallocation of 10MB. This allocation was added to prevent players from even starting the game with low memory, but this memory is kept until its almost reaching its limit. This was made just for players using modpacks, where memory might be a problem. If you have enough memory, this is pretty much useless for you.

    Fog

Removes the fog. The fog creates a lot of lag, why not add an option to remove it?

    Beacon Beam

Removes the transparent layer of the beam. It might cause lag when there's a lot of beacons.

Experimental - I'm still testing if it actually helps anyone, I might remove it.

    Fast Hopper

Hoppers are very unoptimized, they keep checking for items to pickup when there's no need for it. Simply putting a solid full block on top of it stops looking for items to pickup.
Recently, Forge has added the new capability API, which forced me to remove others improvements. I might reimplement them in the future.
This improvement is designed mainly for singleplayer/servers

    Fast Beacon

Beacons are also unoptimized, the code process stuff that it didn't need to. Not only it was recoded thinking in performance, the code was also organized for processing stuff when it needs to.

    Fast Search

The creative mode search is really unoptimized, in big modpacks, the pressing any key in the text input would freeze the game by a few moments. This improvement implements a smart search algorithm, reusing old results for new searches. It will also prevent any non-alphadecimal key (such as shift) from updating the search.

It also supports multithreaded/asynchronous searches: they will prevent lag spikes from happening when searching

    Installation

    Installation for Minecraft Forge

    • Find the game installation folder
    • Drop the mod file in the mods folder

Note: The mod will not appear in the mod list due to a missing feature in Forge. I've been trying to add this feature to Forge for about as long as this mod exists, but there's nothing else I can do, sorry.

If you want to test if the mod is installed, you can open the options menu, it should have a BetterFps button there.

    Installation for Minecraft Vanilla

    • Double click the mod file to open the installer
    • Click "Install"
    • Change the installation directory, version and profile according to your preferences.
    • Open/Restart the Minecraft Launcher
    • Play the game :)

    Modpacks

You may add this mod to your modpack if I'm credited (Guichaguri) and you link this page.

You can only distribute the mod in modpacks. Do not repost this mod or claim ownership, all versions are only uploaded to CurseForge.

    Compatibility

    • Optifine: Overwrites Fast Math when the algorithm is not set to "Vanilla"
    • Fastcraft: Full
    • FpsPlus+: BetterFps will override FpsPlus sine & cosine improvements

CreativeMD posted a message on World Generation Manager v0.4.8 - Ungenerate/Regenerate a specific mod

    World Generation Manager

Everyone knows this situation, you want to add a new mod, but the ores doesn't generate in your already generated world. I was really sick about it, so i decided to make a mod which allows you to regenerate a specific mod.

    How it works

The mod creates a config file. By default no mod is regenerated, because it isn't activated yet.
In the category "regeneration" there is a list of all WorldGenerators, you can disable and enable what ever you want. If you enable a mod's world generator in the config ALL ores and other world generation stuff (e. g. marble deposits from redpower) from that mod is regenerated in all chunks you visit.

This mod modifies base forge files. BACKUP YOUR WORLD BEFORE USING IT!. (Everything works fine, but you never know what could happen)

    Ingame - Configuration

Use CraftingManager v0.7 and above for ingame configuration. Also it adds the ability to unregenerate mods.

Ungenerate Mods (Only if CraftingManager is installed)

If the modder supports this mod, you have the option to ungenerate chunks. World Generation Manager (WGM) searches for blocks of this mod and replaces them:

    • under y of 50 to stone
    • under y of 65 to dirt
    • above 64 to air
NOTE: please only ungenerate if it's necessary because it takes a lot of resources.

    Modders

WGM adds to new methods to the IWorldGeneration interface:

     public String getName()
     {
     return "Name of Your World Generator";
     }

Add this method to your WorldGenerator.
