Well, this is going to take along time to get used to. And I notice I don't have all my titles. Or all my posts.
It's an old archive which has been restricted, a lot of the posts you have won't be there. -

I'm not sure. The earliest version I have the source code for is 1.2.3 so I have no record. It's simple enough that it's probably stable, and it's all client side so there probably won't be an issue.

Here's a sneak peek of a new simplified menu I'm working on for the next update. Let me know what you think. Most of the other changes are structural, and it all goes towards making future updates easier.

There are settings under Experience Info to show total current experience and lifetime (since respawn) experience. Press U by default to open the menu.

New release today fixing the config crash and defaults overriding config files (just a whole lot of config file problems, really). 1.4.3 on its way!

It's 1.12.2 only until all the major bugs are squashed out. I'd love to migrate but there are a lot of visual blips to take care of!

It was removed quite a long time ago, I think. I should update the list here, check out the CF page for a more updated list.

I'm a dum. It's fixed. Should work fine in the next update.

I didn't even know there was a 1.16. 1.12.2 stable comes first.

Yes, 1.12.2-1.4.2 is the correct version. 1.12.2 is the Minecraft version supported by 1.4.2. It doesn't support 1.13+.

Update! Better HUD 1.4.2 fixes client and server crashes, pickup count, CPS and vignette. See the full changelog.
*CurseForge widget may take a little while to update
Edit (PLEASE READ): known issue with 1.4.2, the game crashes if you don't have a config file. Follow these instructions if you have this problem. The next bugfix update will contain the fix.
Thank you for your report, I have backlogged your issue on GitHub and will be looking into this.

I tried to add a mod widget to the thread for my mod HotSwap, but it complains the mod isn't found (even though it's all there on CF). I noticed the URL of the iframe was /mc-mods/minecraft/ rather than /minecraft/mc-mods/ which worked as a URL. Are [mod] widgets broken?

HotSwap
HotSwap is a small, simple mod for Minecraft Forge which adds hotkeys
and mouse controls to quickly switch out hotbar items from other rows
in your inventory. You can switch out either the selected slot or the
entire hotbar.
HotSwap can be a lighter, simpler substitute for other inventory management mods, with minimal impact on the rest of the game. Since 0.2 HotSwap is compatible with Inventory Tweaks!

1. Download Forge: https://files.minecraftforge.net/
2. Run the installer
3. Open up %APPDATA%\.minecraft (on Windows, at least - you can open the resource pack folder from ingame which is in this folder)
4. Create a mods/ subfolder
5. Download the mod (https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/better-hud/files)
6. Save/move it into the mods/ folder
7. Switch profiles on the launcher to Forge
Thats it, from there just start the game. Once ingame the settings menu is the U key.

New beta has been released. If you experienced bugs in the first beta, see if this update fixes them. There are a few things I still need to do, and I am considering reworking the main menu before 1.4.

Ray trace distance is the number of blocks you can see mob info and the block viewer from. Scoreboard is the box for the vanilla scoreboard, mostly used in custom maps. Helmet overlay is in vanilla only visible when you wear a pumpkin on your head, and portal overlay is the purple vortex effect that appears over your screen when you're in a nether portal.
