Can anyone give some quick instructions on how to install 1.9 part 3 please :smile.gif:
Well if your using Windows, press the windows key + R, a run window should pop up. Type in %appdata% then press enter. At the top is the .minecraft folder, open that then in there open the folder bin. Inside of that is the minecraft.jar, either delete it or move it. Then move your 1.9 pre3 jar in its place and your done.

I really like this program because it shows me the names of the chunk I select which makes Identifying chunks much more easier. I've been using McEdit to ID chunks but it doesn't show the name of the selected chunk, so I would have to prune an entire map just to isolate one chunk to be Identified, wasting time and data space(unless there is a better way that I don't know of). If Chunky would load a whole lot faster it would be my preferred program to ID chunks.
Also, it would be a really cool feature to just type in a chunk ID and it automatically jumps to and highlights that chunk.

But, at the moment my server hasn't been getting any time outs today. Your welcome to come to Venture Industries, its a creative server with an economy. There is different towns with different prices for items and land. Iron is the main currency but people do take gold and diamond. The Link is in my signature, I don't have the Ip public so if you would like to join you need to PM or Email me an application, nothing fancy just short and simple.

I found it extremely hard to find the right chunk that I wanted to switch so I started with McEdit. With McEdit I was I'm allowed to delete and prune(isolate from the chunks around it) chunks, so I first begin by selecting the chunk i want and prune it, took along time. Once that was done I just simple Highlighted the entire chunk and export the schematic. Then I go open the file that I want to fix select the same chunk, but its reformed, and delete it. Import the schematic of the chunk I just exported and paste it there. Simple but a bit of a hassle but hey it works.
When you prune a chunk, in the world folder will only be left with just that one chunk .dat file. So in away I kinda was able to find a specific chunk. Then I wonder if I just delete the matching chunk .dat file that was reformed and switch it with this one, It worked. Saves time compared to going in, deleting, and pasting but still pruning takes up a lot of time it also takes up space because I have to make a copy before I prune, pruning is irreversible. Oh and to find the chunk .dat file(cause there is a ton of folders to go through) after pruning, simple search ".dat" in the world folder.
I would still like to see if anyone has found an easy way of finding a specific chunk.dat file so please post if you have any findings on fixing reformed chunks.

Its like 10% better, I went from 40% average to about 50% average with just the 74. Sometimes it even goes to 60%.
