They have stated that they want to start moving some crafting table recipes into there own specialized crafting block, like the loom. Though i disagree on the barrel, currently it has a chest inventory, so it will likely store items and not fluids.

Bugs should be reported on the official bug tracker, bugs.mojang.com , I would recommend you report it there rather than on the forums.

1.13 has no officially announced release date, though with the number of bugs left in this version i would guess at minimum there will be three more prereleases, though no one outside of the active developers really know.

Not every stronghold will have an end portal, while most do some don't. As for where to post questions like this, for future reference you should post them in the Support area on the forums, simply create a new thread there under the correct subcategory (in this case the "Legacy Console support" area).

My understanding is that Mojang couldn't fit it to work with the current world generation PLUS new ocean biomes. Rather than drag the 1.13 release date into half-past forever (at least by player reconning), they agreed to *disable* custom world generation for now. I believe Mojang intends to allow for "data driven world generation" in a future release, perhaps 1.14 which would allow you to edit a .JSON and have it do "All The Things." Want new biomes? Edit the .JSON. Want new structures in those biomes? Edit the .JSON. Hate roofed forests? Edit those out in the .JSON. At least, I *think* that is what is intended, but delving into that would have us waiting even more for 1.13.
So... please be patient, because I think what is coming is going to be a WHOLE lot better than what we had to date on world generation.
Data driven world generation was confirmed at one point, which should allow for biome customization and custom structures, among other possibilities such as data packs being able to add new biomes.

Customized worlds are stilled unsupported, and with 1.13 in pre-release now it is unlikely to be re-added. It might return for 1.14 or Buffet mode might be expanded to replace it but for now only the developers know.

In what way is it not working? Are you getting an error? If so can you link it?

What do you mean? If your talking about the block id limit it was already removed.

This is a known bug, it should be fixed soon (hopefully).

One of the most likely reason they are released like this is to allow time for players to find bugs, then allow more time for the developers to fix them. Not only that but it allows them to slowly release features to the public rather than just giving them all the planned feature at once, keeping people interested for a longer period of time.

It is possible that the buffet world type will replace the customized world option, although for now no one really knows other than the mojang staff.

The petrified oak slab is something that as far as i know has been in the game for years now but only as a block, the only thing done now is they added an item form for it. It is basically a stone slab with an oak plank texture.

Well you could create a drop every seven blocks, since falling water will extend an additional eight blocks each time.

How, may i ask, are you modding 1.13? There is no forge release for it yet.

I would recommend looking at the vanilla ItemPotion class. Try extending it and changing whats needed to fit your item, though there may be a simpler way of doing this i am unaware of.

1.14 is an upcoming update for Minecraft planned to be released before the end of this year. This update contains several changes as well as some new additions to the game.
Pandas
Little is known about pandas at this time, but we do know:
Bamboo
Scafolding Block
Cats
While "cats" have been available by taming ocelots, they are now being split into their own mob.
This is all the latest information available so far, if you see anything that i missed, is outdated, or incorrect, feel free to message me and let me know.

I'm sorry to say, but i doubt anyone will be contacting you about this, WeaselNinja hasn't been online since early 2016. Not to mention alot has changed since this was posted.
But if you still want to get into minecraft modding here are some resources that might help:

Communities / Forums:
In any case i wish you luck in learning to mod, and if you need any other help feel free to message me.

It somewhat depends on the mods original license. Though it is generally a good idea to change the name anyway, even if it's just adding something to the end of the original name.

The simplest way to do this would probably be a self extracting archive. Maybe look into 7-Zip, but the configuration will probably still need to be done manually.

To target multiple entities with /data you simply need to wrap it in an execute command, for example /execute as @e[type=phantom] at @s run data merge entity @s {Size:7b} will cause all phantoms to change their own size tag to 7b.

This is a know bug when updating 18w16a worlds, see MC-129725 for more information.

As for the question of "would it run?", yes it almost certainly would, but it will be extremely laggy and most likely crash as soon as someone attempts to login (if not before). The main problem is the fact that a RaspberryPi has a very small cpu along with very limited ram.

I think some form of stalactite or stalagmite should be added to the game, but i would disagree with the part about it damaging players as they walk over them. Have you tried adding your suggestion to the official "Underground" feedback thread for June? If not you can add it at the official minecraft feedback site, here .

Report it on the official bug tracker so it can be fixed. It is odd though since they were working just a few snapshots ago.

This was a known, and as of 1.13 pre-1, fixed bug. See MC-130489 for more information.

They changed the ench nbt tag to enchantments, as well as remove numerical id's for enchantments, so simply use /give @p minecraft:diamond_sword{Enchantments:[{id:"minecraft:sharpness",lvl:10}]} .

That is odd, strongholds should be generating normally ??? Try creating a new creative world and using /locate Stronghold and teleport there. If that doesn't work report it as a bug at bugs.mojang.com. Also post here whether or not it works, since that would be a very odd bug.
