For months I have been looking for a Vanilla server to get actively involved on and to have a serious place I can call my 'home server'. Why: I've been looking for a nice vanilla server for some time now because most of the server out there are full of confusing mods and plugins. I just want to play minecraft the way it was made but I haven't found a vanilla server that's accepting applications and playing alone in SSP is getting pretty boring, also it would be nice to meet new people. You don't have to accept me but it would be nice if you would. I've only been playing minecraft for about 6 months. I know the basics of minecraft for the most part. I know a little bit of redstone and know how to make different kinds of automatic farms and mob grinders.

Welcome to this topic. To cut to the chase here I just started a server and am looking for players that would be interested in playing on the server actively, along with players that would be able to contribute to the server. Please consider that if you apply and will not playing on the server or doing anything whilst playing I will remove you off of the server because of the fact that your slot on the server could be taking up space.
The server is vanilla, meaning that there are no modifications or plugins added to the server to change the game whatsoever except for maybe Bukkit although that will not be used by anyone at anytime. At the moment the server has eleven available slots but will slowly grow if those slots are filled, if the server receives donations of some kind or if I see that it is worth more money to spend on the server. The only reason that is so is just to see if people will or will not be interested in the server, to see if you were paying attention I want you to include the smiley face I used in the first paragraph in your application.
In you application I would like you to include your first name, your location, your Minecraft username, your age, why you should be part of the server, why you want to be part of the server, your Skype username, your Minecraft skill(s) and example(s).
