But you can make the code IV in Unity. Or at least another mind blowing puzzle game in unity.

I've already made some cool games in Unity :)
One of them is ZeGame and the other is splix.io
There's also a few other projects I'm currently working on. It's best to check my twitter for any news on that.

This map is awesome. I enojyed the puzzles. I'm a big fan of that kind of stuff. When i finished it, i saw the question mark. Does that mean there's going to be the Code IV? I follow you on twitter and when i looked your pics you have posted there, i saw you started working on the Code IV. Now we come to my second question: Why did you stop making of the Code IV? Did you find some sort of bug you couldn't fix? Or was it the Filmacademy? I'm waiting for your answer. P.S. I know i'm not the only one who's asking about the Code IV.

    Hi,
Yeah that's true I did post some screenshots of the Code IV work in progress. The reason why I stopped working on it is partially because I didn't have enough time to continue working on it. But for the most part it was because I felt like I couldn't make something better than the Code III.
I had been working on the map for quite a bit but from what I remember it wasn't really that good. There were no special mind blowing effects and the puzzles were a bit generic. Also there was just no cohesion in the map whereas in the Code III there were these puzzles scattered around the map that were all interconnected in some way.

At some point I just lost the motivation to work on it and so I never really finished it.
I hope that answers your question :)

I played map when it just came out, i had to read walktrough because i couldn't solve it all by myself, i did play it few more times. After almost 4 years i downloaded it and i consider it that it's the best vanilla map ever made! I was hoping all these years you'll make part 4, is that ever going to happen? Btw i had the problem with reflection room too and solved it how you said above. Again great map.

Thanks that means a lot :)
I don't think the Code IV will ever happen. I haven't played Minecraft a lot anymore for the last 2 years or so. I did start developing games though so perhaps the Code IV will come in the form of a game one day.

Take the awesomeness from the Code and the Code II, combine that and there you have it: the Code III. In the Code III you can actually choose which puzzle you are going to solve first. Like a big tree with all kinds of branches to explore. It contains a ton of minecraft tricks of course, just like in the Code and the Code II. Let's see if this turns your mind into a blown mind.

Download the Code III (1.7.4) NOT 1.7.10!!
Works in MP now, yay! (Still looks better in SP though)
Please set render distance to 6 chunks or higher, if you don't want weird stuff to happen.

the Code is a minecraft puzzle map.In it you need to solve a puzzle to get a code, every solution is in the form of a code. If you rename paper to that code using an anvil, then throw the paper in a hopper, a new room will open. There are 30 puzzles. These are not just regular puzzles, I've made entirely new puzzles or I used some old concepts and combined them with new concepts. It's got a beautiful look using the new quartz blocks. But you'll have to look at the video and screenshots to see that. The quartz is not the only 1.5-piece that's in this map. It also contains a scoreboard, renamed commandblocks, a light sensor, comparators, trapped chests, visible name tags above mobs, the redstone block, renamed chests, more scoreboards, hoppers and much more.Oh, you want to have the download link I guess? Well here you go:

endthere's an easter egg in the end. This is what you need to do:
throw in 39562 in the hopper (that's a code you see in the end of the trailer, if you have annotations on)A chest will appear in the end, it has a book in it saying:
    www.j.mp/[3=...][5=...][7=...][1=...][6=...][4=...][2=...]
you can find all the numbers on these places:1
press the hint button when you finished, you'll get a message.
    2
at the end of 11 "Infinite" is a chest, open it before it turns around, the answer is the name of the chest.
    3
In the back of 25 "Merge" is weird lighting when smooth ligting is on minimum., hover over the blocks until the black hitbox disappears and then right click
    4
there is a dropper in 28 with a name
    5
at the end of the hallway in "end" is a sign
    6
at the end of 29 "Retrospect" is lava, right click it and you'll open a dropper
    7
behind the chest in 10 "Sound" sound is a hopper
now put them in the right order (3571642) you can find in the book in the end, and you'll get
    www.j.mp/FEZhtml
go to that website (case sensitive)

There it is, the sequel to the Code. If you haven't played that map yet, I suggest you play that first. If you have, don't expect anything like that map at all.Sure, this map still has puzzles and is still made of quartz, but the long hallway with doors is gone, and there is no hopper to throw a code in either. What does this map have then you ask? Well, if I say that, I'm going to spoil a lot. Let's say I took the "Infinite" level from the Code, and made a new map from it.

I am using 10 as render distance (I use optifine)

Also I'm sure I saw someone else in this thread have the same problem. They should be post #363 and #371 if what they're describing is my same error.

    Thanks for the support!
You're right about #363 and #371. I just assumed they broke the ladder themselves. For now I'm just going to leave it as it is because it's hard to fix a bug that only happens once in a while and I haven't touched the redstone in such a long time I'm not even sure wether I still know how everything works.
Again thanks for the kind words :)

Hello, really great map, I actually found this way better than the first 2. Anyway, I'm stuck at the mirror room. I thought I was missing something so I looked at a guide but I did correctly, there's the reflection of the door but I just can't pass through it. I also restarted the map and did that room again but still nothing. Also yes I'm playing in 1.7.4.

EDIT: Here is the save https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ovqio57e6g910a2/AABmogFUltR0T-Lgb75EOxxZa?dl=0

EDIT 2: I also am 100% sure I didn't break any ladder, I even restarted the world and I just touched those blocks that needed to be changed.

hmh, that's weird. I think it happened when you walked out of the room. But that should never have happened and honestly you're the first one having this problem.
To fix it you can open to lan and allow cheats, then in the chat enter the following commands:
    /setblock -11 31 -179 ladder 4
    and
    /setblock -11 32 -179 air

One more question, what's the render distance you're using in the settings?

Hey JesperTheEnd, I like your maps, and I would like to do maps by my own, but I need to know how do the arguments work, I mean, like, being teleported at a specified place or something. Also I want to know if it could work in 1.8, because this map in 1.8 does not work at all.

Please help me, I don't know much about those arguments and stuff

    Hey XooTier,

You can find a lot of information on the minecraft wiki. Here's a list of super useful wiki pages. I made a video about the teleportations which you can find in the spoiler, but it doesn't really cover the commands, but more the general idea of when you need to teleport a player to where.
