Depends. What model is it? Anything above the 2018 model should work, though the 2020 model is recommended if you don’t want your world only slightly toasted.

Man, I haven't been active for awhile, but coming back to see this just---hurts. I remember the old days when I'd come on here almost daily and check out people's suggestions. Even if I haven't done that much here, I'll be sad to see this place go.
Thank you, Critic, for making this forum. Thank you, Sunperp, Badprenup, and the other moderators for doing your best to make this forum a place everyone could visit and enjoy themselves. And, even if you've made some missteps, thank you Curse for bringing this forum to its greatest highs and glory days.

9/10. I messed up on the cookies one. Probably because I have never once bothered to craft them.

Not to mention that the Curse of Binding might actually be beneficial on a very good sword or pickaxe and paired with Mending. No more accidentally throwing an item away by pressing 'Q' instead of '1' when startled by an enemy.
That's why I set my "Drop" key to P. I have never accidentally dropped an item since.
Personally I'm "meh" about these cursed enchantments. It's an interesting idea, but it seems like it would just turn the item into junk. I think most people would just use books to make sure they get what they want. -

Seems cool, though it looks like Minecraft is moving more and more towards a fantasy theme. This isn't bad, but it does open the way for quite a few new suggestions. Hopefully the game doesn't become too much more like an RPG though.

Huh, I thought that the wiki said that the reason pistons couldn't push tile entities because then the piston would need to record all of the data.
Regardless, couldn't it still just copy and paste the data?
Step 1: Piston is powered (or unpowered, if sticky)
Step 2: Piston scans the next 15 blocks. If they will be moved, the piston copies the data of these blocks in a list NBT tag. It also includes a slot tag to tell how far away the block is.
Step 3: Piston pushes (or pulls) the blocks. Block NBT data is reset.
Step 4: Piston copies the NBT back into the blocks in the correct order, then clears the list tag to reduce memory usage.
Step 5: Block updates occur.

Well, that could be fixed by turning pistons into tile entities, which I've heard rumors that they're doing. It may cause lag, but in any contraption that it would be an issue, pistons were laggy to begin with.

It's technically not a bug. Ctrl+pickBlock does not store any block data (like the block facing), so it's currently impossible for it to also hold whether the block is conditional.

Maybe, but I ran a little test where I filled an entire chunk (65,536 blocks) with dirt, then furnaces, then hoppers. The dirt and furnace used approximately the same amount of memory and caused no lag, and the hoppers caused the memory usage to go up a little bit, and only lagged the game for a little bit. My computer is pretty low end, so most computers running Minecraft should do better than mine. Thus, I would believe it would take a lot of wool to generate enough lag to be a significant problem.

Agreed.

Well, it's vague, but not that vague. What he's suggesting is that we should be able to make any color imaginable by dying wool, similar to how you can dye leather armor. This would, however, require turning wool into a tile entity, which supposedly causes more lag due to increased memory usage, which would then be bad for a commonly used decoration block, but I'm becoming skeptical as to whether tile entities really cause that much of a difference, especially when they don't do anything.

Well, it may not be one of the best food items, but early game it's much easier to farm (I tend to have a 9x9 plot within my first few days, and more in the days following). I also find it to be more peaceful (your wheat isn't going to run in circles) and less laggy (because of high mob count).
But, to each his own. The more varied playstyles, the better.

I think the reason for this is because conditional is a block state, not a data tag, and thus held by the data value of the block.
But, yeah, this should be put into consideration by the engine.
I Support.

I wouldn't say it's useless; bread is my main food item.
Anyway, I don't think adding so much centered around one food item is a good idea, because then we would expect other food items to get the same treatment. Maybe in a mod, but not in vanilla.
No Support.

What, you mean being forced to get DIAMONDS! before you can get We Need to go Deeper? Yeah, I agree that that shouldn't happen.

This was originally a planned feature, designed to give flint and steel more of a use. It never made it into the game, however, due to how annoying it would be.
No Support.
If you want to see for yourself how annoying it would be, I believe there's a mod out there that makes torches burn out.

Regardless of alternative methods, it's not very convenient. I still support Silly511's original idea.

This suggestion could be expanded on, but it doesn't break the rules. He's suggesting new bow enchantments, and each topic on his suggestion follows this, so it's not a wishlist. I also wouldn't really say it's "vague," just simple; it's pretty easy to figure out what each enchantment does based on what he's told us.
As for my view on the suggestion:
Sniper: Good, I'd give maybe a 25% zoom per level, up to level III. However, I think a better name would be "Snipe" or "Zoom."
Rifle: Maybe, but it would have to be a marginal increase. I don't like the name; how about "Quickshot" or "Speed?"
StraightArrow: I like this one. Perhaps a 15% increase in distance per level. Once again, though, the name is pretty bad; I'd prefer something like "Force," to indicate the increased strength of the bow's pull.
TNTArrow: Too OP. TNT arrows should have to be crafted individually.
60% Support.

Eh, it's pretty easy. All you need is at least one bucket (though preferably more) and a lava lake containing at least 10 lava source blocks. You then use the lava to build a nether portal. I always get to the nether within the first few in-game days, and it doesn't even require diamonds.

Well, I always really liked the backpack mod, and Terraria's safe and piggybank that acted similarly to Ender chests.
So, sure, I Support double ender chests but only if ender chests become unstackable to balance it.
Also, no to the sharing, it's too complicated for vanilla and can be unbalanced.
