1. turn mipmap to off in video settings
2. update video card drivers
3. udate java
Mipmap isn't an option in my video settings, and both Java and video card are up to date. However, upon exploring video settings, I turned on Advanced OpenGL, and the issues stopped.
So, I've been having a weird slew of graphical bugs in minecraft lately, and I was wondering if anyone else was having the same issue, or if it's my computer. I know it's not my graphics card, cause every other game plays flawlessly with no hiccups or issues.
These graphical issues align with my cursor movement, and by that I mean I could be looking one direction and the world looks fine, like so:
But if I move my cursor half an inch, the world looks like this:
Additionally, I'm having the entire texture.png file pops up in weird ways, creating abstract polygons that fly through space, that can be walked through since they technically don't exist (in a physical sense), you can see this in a graphical hole below :
I have Forge installed, as well as modloader and Pixelmon, all on 1.6.4, however this issue has been happening with vanilla 1.7.2 as well.
So, I have been reminiscing of the time when minecraft was still new. I really wanted to feel that special feeling of not knowing how to do anything, and building my empire very nonuniformly while I was still learning the basics.
Today I remembered that I had moved my first levels' saves from one computer to another over 2 years ago (wow, has it really been that long?), and lo and behold I came across the thumb drive I used!
I have 6 of my very first worlds right in front of me! So, I copied all of them all into my saves folder, started up minecraft aaaaaand... none of them are in the world selection...
I remember needing to update the formatting of my beta maps one or a few times, but I didnt carry any of them over to the release version. I just have these 1.0.2 beta worlds that supposedly arent even recognized and dont show up.
I know that release 1.3 updated the file system to allow for LAN joining, and I'm assuming that's a main issue? Is there any way that I can convert these save files all the way from 1.0.2 beta to 1.4.6 release?
For the gravel on top of a torch, why don't you change the torch to a redstone torch? and then you wouldn't need the other redstone torch pointing at it.
Why do u need a torch under the gravel to begin with?
But great concept! I thought You'd use some sort of BUD at the start of the video. But gravel is a bit suspicious... I used 2 player proximity detector for mine, so that you have to stand at the right spot for 3 seconds. :smile.gif:
Lol good question. I think I was re-thinking my plans and mistook the redstonetorch for a torch, and i was stumped as to why it didnt work, lol, so I added the other redstonetorch and the repeater.
Also, do you have a link to a tutorial for your proximity blueprints?
Never again will you have to worry about enemy players xray hacking through your wall to try and glitch your levers and buttons! This setup is perfect for servers with Factions/Towny or any other ownership-based block protection plugin. Simply break the gravel, and you have a 3 sec window to go through! There's even pressure plates on the other side so you aren't trapped!
So, I am having the same issue. Here's the troubleshooting steps I took:
1) Forced update
2) Manual Installation of ModLoader1.1 ONLY, using 7-zip
3) Deleted META-INF
4) MC Crashed, so I force updated again
5) Uploaded ModLoader1.1 to MCPatcher 2.3.2
6) Checked to see if META-INF was deleted (it was)
7) Still crashed, so I used the tool in the quote above and got this: http://pastebin.com/MLwWpFDR
(note: if I'm supposed to paste the Simple Minecraft Test Error report, you can find it here: http://pastebin.com/7n9xmZ4d)
To reiterate, please note that I ran these troubleshooting steps with fresh installs and ModLoader1.1 ONLY.
Please please PLEASE get rid of the "ClayCam"... it's the most unneeded nuisance of this whole mod. Whenever I try to click quickly, build, or place soldiers I enter the "ClayCam" and cant exit when I'm trying to do other things :sleep.gif:
So... I am an experienced modder (been modding for 11 months), and I cant get this to work :sad.gif: I used a fresh jar, added the class files for ModLoader, then added the files and the imgz folder from this mod to the jar, and I'm not getting anything at all... Yes i deleted META-INF, yes I reinstalled ModLoader, yes I patched the HD texture pack files first (so nothing was overwritten), and aside from HD Texture mod, ModLoader, and this, I have no other mods...
Edit: tried the following, but no luck: fresh install but without the HD patcher, separate download link for ModLoader (maybe the other was outdated?), neither worked.
Edit: looked through my .minecraft folder. The mod seems to have installed properly. Here's the properties file:

PROBLEM SOLVED - apparently I didn't read the one important thing... Use a new world.
Ive been playing the same old minecraft level for months. To get NPC villages, strongholds and abandoned mines etc in 1.0, do i need to start a new map or just explore a new area?
you just have to explore a new area so that the new generation takes place, it will randomly generate new terrain for you.
That's not true. If you made your world pre-1.8, then you need to start a new world in order experience the new generated content (stongholds, mineshafts, biomes, etc). However you are able to experience the new user-generated content without updating (new blocks, animal breeding, etc)
Bethesda, if you are so pissy as to assume potential Skyrim buyers will confuse it for Scrolls, then you have a very low perspective of your market :/ You are one of the most successful video game companies out there, and to take an indie developer to court over 1 word then you have just lost alot of respect. Anyone who knows that the prefix to Skyrim is "Elder Scrolls" will not mix up games with Scrolls... I was going to buy Skyrim, but now I'm just torrenting it, lol.
