posted a message on Plants in the Nether and biomes with vegetation should be tweaked

Plants in the Nether are fine, I'm not saying they should be removed, but they should be tweaked a bit. The Crimson Forest and the Warped Forest should be made very rare. They should be like oasis's in the Nether, very far from each other and very few of them. In my opinion, the Nether should be a wasteland. It is a wasteland. It's original biome name was "Hell" but now it just feels like the Jungle Biome. The Crimson Forest and Warped Forest should stay, but now they take up a large portion of the Nether's biomes. I instead think that Mojang should add more geological biomes as well, apart from just the Soulsand Valley and a few others. A Boneyard or a Nether Spires Biome are a few I can think of off the top of my head, but many more can also be thought of.

    So. Any suggestions.

I said in my post maybe a new End biome with a new passive End mob, or more mobs on the Mushroom Island.

Many people don't like suggestions where the OP asks the viewers to suggest them. If you have an idea for a specific fantasy mob, then make a thread about it. But in my opinion, just saying "I want more fantasy mobs to be suggested" doesn't count as a suggestion.

When did I ask the viewers to suggest it? I am saying that Minecraft has too much real life mobs and should add fantasy ones. It's just general suggestion feedback.

I would guess that without that list of "No's", people would constantly post the same suggestions over and over to their feedback site, and they finally got tired of having to slog through all of the repeated suggestions.

If those suggestions are heavily suggested by the player base, wouldn't it be a good idea to add them?

Can you suggest any specific ones instead of just saying "we need fantasy creatures?"

This is a suggestions Forum so we can also give suggestions / feedback. I am suggesting that instead of the new real life mobs, more fantasy mobs should be added to make the game better.

posted a message on More fantasy and made up creatures

Personally, I feel as though Minecraft has gotten a bit lazy in the designs of passive mobs recently (discluding the Nether). A Panda, a Salmon, Cod, Sea Turtle, Parrots, upcoming Ostriches, Goats, Frogs and Termites. These are all great, and I accept them into the game with open arms, but they are also quite bland. Real life creatures are good to add to the game, but I think we have quite a bit now. Ambient creatures I'm fine with, but I think they should be smaller ones like insects, amphibians, reptiles and birds as opposed to say a Panda. Instead, I think Mojang should start adding in some more fantasy passive mobs to the game. We have barely any right now, the only two I can think of off the top of my head being the Mooshroom and the Skeleton Horse. Minecraft should have more made up creatures, and some of these could even belong in new Biomes. Maybe a new End biome with a passive End mob. More mushroom creatures on the Mushroom Island. Idk, I just feel as though we need some more fantasy creatures. Giving them uses would also be ideal, like how Mooshrooms right now give Mushroom Stew and Suspicious Stew.

posted a message on New Wolf Skins!

I think it could something like put the dog near livestock and it turns into a border collie or sheep dog. Keep it near the farmers and it could be like a lab or something. Thats how I would have programed it. Also maybe have it where the color of the collar could be what changes the dog, like each color is a different breed maybe.

I don't really agree with the collar one as not everyone has Nametags so different coloured collars help keep track of who is who.

I think it would be really fun and cool if when you tamed a wolf they had a chance to change skin to a different breed of dog. For instance it could be a border collie or Lab or even a sheep dog. And they could even have a chance of gaining a profession similar in the same way that villagers can gain professions. And all they would mean is that they would be roaming around protecting those areas they are profession, like protecting the villagers or even the livestock.

I completely agree with this idea! Different types of dogs and with different uses would be great! The only thing I would suggest, though, is that larger dog breeds would be better to add then smaller ones which in real life their only use is to act "cute".

posted a message on More animals

Please add more details or change up your suggestion. Also, please change the title. Right now, in my opinion, we have too much real life mobs. Ambient mobs which exist in real life are great, but they should be limited to small mobs like birds, fish and insects. Instead, I think it's about time Mojang adds in more fantasy, made up mobs to the game (Mooshrooms and Skeleton Horses are examples that come to mind). Also, I think you need to specify what bear you want added. Saying you would like bears in general is like asking for Mojang to add primates in general. Which one? Monkeys also aren't needed as what would there use be and how would they work? Please add more details.

Do those methods count though? That cat or fish clearly still killed something to get you that leather or feather.

I don't think you would really feel guilty. Technically the Cat stayed on your bed all night and no mobs in the vicinity died.

The point of the vote was to incentivize people to vote. They'd pick the one they wanted the most knowing that if they didn't, it would lose and remain but a rejected idea forever.

Yes but now everyone hates the mob they added and Mojang doesn't care.

posted a message on Non-lethal peaceful mob drop crafting / harvesting

I'm not a vegetarian or anything, but I don't really like killing peaceful mobs, either. Usually when I put them in a farm it's for the non-lethal resources like Milk, Mushroom Stew, Eggs and Wool. New ways to craft different resources would be a great addition! Maybe leather can be gained from some sort of new crop or fruit? Anyways:

posted a message on Hovering Inferno - Time to Heat Things up in the Nether

Do you realize that the Minecraft Forum is not owned by Mojang? They don't come on here at all, you should post this to Reddit or the Minecraft Feedback Site to get a (possible) response from Mojang.

Putting that aside, I love your suggestion! Although it is suggested quite a lot, and Mojang has denied adding it, I'll still always support posts that ask for it to be added! I love the Hovering Inferno idea!

Also, I've noticed as of writing this that you've only made 5 posts on the Forum so far. For a first time suggestion, you do have some valid points and you don't just make a bland post that only says "add this mob" or something like that. I expect to see some great ideas from you!

posted a message on New Transitional Biome - Mixed Forest

Hey guys, so we all know that the Extreme Hills won the biome vote. Now that mountains will most likely be taller, I thought I'd suggest a new transitional biome for when you are climbing to the top. This biome would be the Mixed Forest. It would contain mixture of Spruce, Birch and Oak trees with occasional large Spruce trees although these are more uncommon then the others. Normal passive mobs can be found here, along with Wolves, Foxes, and Bats in the day time. Berry Bushes can spawn here, along with Taiga Villages. Pillager outposts can also spawn in the Mixed Forest. Anyways, that's the Mixed Forest. I've attached an image below of a Mixed Forest Biome which I built in my world.
