Does the seed of a world also regulate the animals that spawn in each chunk? In other words, if you genenrated a world and then made an identical one using the same seed, would the animal spawning also be indentical? (including sheep colours?)
Hey guys, just finished Kaizo Caverns! Here is my obligated victory screenshot with the classic paulsoaresjr salute:
I died around 20 or so times (I'm not very good), but despite that I think the map was a good challenge overall. Out of all the Vechs maps I've played (Sunburn Islands, Infernal Sky II, Sea of Flame II and Kaizo) I think it was one of the best that you've made, although my favourite is still Sea of Flame II. I really liked the idea of being trapped in a huge stone cube with carefully carved caves running all the way through.
My favourite area would have to be Cavern of Sky. It looked spectacular, and even though it was the second biggest room in the map (after Spine Forest, I believe), I didn't have any trouble finding the wool(s), which I hate doing because I think the real challenge should be the actual dungeon, not searching forever for the wool.
I do think that some of the wool placements are a bit "cheap", though.
Yes, I'm talking about the wool you hid at the bottom of that pit, Mr. Legacy of Contempt
My second critcism is that I think the last Intersection was fairly easy:
Grave of the Dragon was close to being the easiest area in the whole map. All you have to do is find the fleecy box (it's visible from the entrance) and slurp down a Fire Resistance potion and the Blazes aren't a problem, and neither is the lava. You don't even have to make a walk way.
Spine Forest was fine (ugh those creepers were annoying) but, I really think that you should have some way to prevent the player from tunneling in the Citadel of Demons, becuase they could just skip all the kill rooms and go straight for the final room. The final room was quite a challenge though. I think in all of Intersection 3, I only died once (Citadel of Demons)
But besides that, it was an awesome map, and I can't wait for Inferno Mines!
He guys I just started Lethamyrand I was wondering How I can set it to Hard mode. cause when I downloaded the file the game was automatically in Hardcore mode, and the difficulty settings are grayed out so I can't change it. ~sorry if it's a stupid question.
The map's meant to be in hardcore mode, but if you really want you can change it to hard using single player commands. (Although, most people consider this cheating)
Just finished Sea of Flame II My favourite dungeon was probably the
Creeper dungeon with the lava on the sides
It wasn't too long and at the same time it was still challenging.
My least favourite would be the
Spider dungeon behind the huge pig statue
because it went on for too long in my opinion and by the time I was finished I never wanted to hear another spider again!
Overall, it was a great map; even the worst dungeons were still fun. I've also played Sunburn Islands and Infernal Sky II, and out of those three SoF II was definitely the best. Thanks Vechs!
Anyways, any suggestions on what map I should do next?
Just finished Infernal Sky II. It was a great map, and I definitely liked it more than Sunburn Islands (although it was really good too) Anyway, I'm about half way through SoF II and I was wondering what map I should do next. I sort of want the "next step" up from Infernal Sky and SoF, but not to difficult (don't say Legendary!) Any suggestions?
Just fell into the void in Infernal Sky II while trying to escort the light blue wool to the VM. Darn you Vechs! (It's not really his fault but everyone seems to say that when they die on one of his maps)
I am very excited for villager trading, but I don't think they should add currency. It doesn't really fit the "feel" of minecraft. I think they should stick to block for block, such as 75 iron for 1 diamond and so on.

Just tested out both of those and got the same thing.
Still not sure about the sheep colours though. I did get white sheep, but it may just have been a coincidence.
