The current map is getting really dull.
Make the new map interesting and give more feeling that we are in dark times. The current map seems a bit boring as it doesn't look like civilization used to be here. make lots of ruins in the new map and make the landscape easy to roleplay with.(i.e old half destroyed hospital or a rusted oil tanker half sunken and half beached.) Build the world to make us think in our heads " Mother of god! I couldn't imagine how bad it must have been to let this happen."

You don't have the authority to just take control of the rangers and rebuild the base! You always need to check with the leader first. Darren (Lanader) was already building a new rangers base. It is good that you rebuilt the old one and i guess we will move back in but try to be more careful next time and make sure you check with the leader of the rangers. I checked out the base last night and it looks good. I think we have a leadership problem and everyone who is and wants to be part of the rangers needs to meet together so we can see who is actually part of the rangers. I will be online today for a long time. Sorry i haven't been on much lately (was out of town for the weekend and i have been playing minecraft xbox edition lots). I will try to log lots of time into the server this week. I am hoping others will too because not many people are logging on anymore.

Why do you want to join:Honestly, the back story of this world gets me excited! I can't wait to put my mind to work and improvising to situations! Plus, i love to RP.
How active will you be: I hope to be very active, but my activity will go down on may 9th because i will be playing minecraft on xbox. I will make sure i try to go on the server enough.

Backstory(LONG must be atlest 3-4 paragraphs):John was born in a super-bunker hidden underneath the rocky mountains. He lived there until he was 24. The bunker was created by the a gathering of the richest people in north america because they feared the impending war. The bunker was made to last a thousand years with enough supplies to start a new civilization.Many generations lived in the bunker with no contact with the outside world.after hundreds of years, the people of the bunker discovered that the surface wasn't as hostile anymore, they sent out a scanning signal to detect any nearby human settlements. Nothing was found in range except a small fort.. Sadly, what the bunker people didn't know was that a large group of bandits was living in that fort. A radio message was sent out to the fort in hopes of gaining communication with the fort.The fort got the message and had no want for communication, they wanted everything. The bandit fort didn't reply to the message. The elders of the super-bunker decided to wait 20-30 more years before they left the bunker. but only 2 days later, the bandits reached the bunker and raided it. Nobody was given mercy. everyone was killed. almost 300 people.The bandits took every valuable item they could carry and set the bunkers fusion power generator to self destruct. The entire mountain collapsed with the bunker. John narrowly escaped the bunker as the bandits were killing off the last people. John can tell the story of how he escaped, but it has much sorrow attached to it.He may be willing to tell someone he trusts.John has very good knowledge in many survival techniques as well as building a decent shelter. He is wearing a powered radiation suit that he barely managed to put on before he escaped. he has nothing else. The suit gives medium protection to radiation. John is educated to the standard of a scientist that would have lived just before the people sealed themselves in the super-bunker long ago. This is a large advantage john has over others. But what he has in knowledge, he lacks in experience.He may find trouble adapting to a world he has never lived in. John has been walking for a week until he found the area of the server. He hopes to make a new life and make the world a better place. He takes out his anger for the loss of the people in his bunker on all bandits and evil raiders.

Why does everyone assume that minecraft on xbox is so important. Its the same idea as minecraft on mobile devices, just a downgraded port to a different system. Though the xbox version has much potential, no matter what it turns out to be, it will never compare to the PC version. I will be getting minecraft for xbox just to play it with my live friends, but i will still spend most of my time playing minecraft on the computer.
Multiplayer will be integrated with xbox live so servers would probobly be based on your gamertag.
If they manage to get it to integrate with your .net acount, then it would be possible to connect to PC servers from xbox.
you are very wrong about live gamers needing to kill something every 5 minutes because alot of people who own minecraft also play on xbox live, so if they have such a need to kill something, why would they play minecraft on PC?
I understand your opinion but its not a big deal. Its great enough that you can play it on xbox, if you honestly think its a problem, dont buy it! thats simple...
