If you've noticed with texture packs, in the minecraft.jar, and other places, they mention this thing "PumpkinBlur" And you may have thought it had something to do with how the pumpkin goes from unlit pumpkin, to jack-o-lantern.. But that isn't it at all. If you have noticed in texture packs, pumpkin blur may be just a big black circle.. But in others, it's maybe the GUI of a spartan helmet, or something that would go over your face and you would see in a video game, Usually is has HUD and something from halo / Cod.. But do you want to have this over your faceplate ingame? Well i'll teach you how.. And i'll show you what the GERUDOKU 32x32 texture pack PumpkinBlur looks like, to give you an example, and a screenshot of how to turn on the pumpkinblur..

PumpkinBlur is simply a template picture to put over your player's face while ingame wearing a pumpkin on your head.. But i had never thought to put a pumpkin on my head before, until i read up a bit and got the keywords, "Pumpkinblur" And "Helmet" And I went to go try it. I hope this helped you guys!

That will do the job, nice idea! You might need a few more layers of water to actually keep the dog / wolf in..

How would i make a mob spawner spawn a different mob/animal?.. If i need to i can use InvEdit.. Just tell me how, Does it have to have damage to it like wool? or does it have to be a different block like redstone torch on, and redstone torch off?

Why should I get 1? Well honestly I dunno. I have been browsing over 100 servers spending countless hours in them until something happens and I can't enjoy them anymore, sometimes they get over-aggressive mods, or sometimes they decide to change the world to something crazy, or they decide to impliment strict building restrictions.... bleh.

I just want to find a place that has 'mostly vanilla' game play for regular players, where mods don't get power hungry and abuse their power hourly, where I can build and play how I feel. No flight, no hacks, no xray bull, just dig and build, build and dig.

It'd be nice to combine achievements, skills, and roleplaying aspects into it, but I can't find a server willing to do this without bogging down.

So I started looking into plugins to 'build my own' to test it out, sadly not made it very far.

If I had one of these servers, I would attempt to do everything I feel should be in a server, without all the B.S. others have attached to them. I would build massive castles, maybe have PVP zones with prize rewards, impliment quests and design whole cave systems that would be "dungeons" for real to explore and conquer. Players wouldn't have all these 'cheat commands' so everything they did would be from pure sweat and effort, making you earn the respect you would get.

Meplz<3 I can't host with alot of RAM, And i can't host 24/7, but my server is ready to be public right now.. My dreams are on hold until i get a host..

Oblivion.. I own it for Xbox and PC.. I mastered it on both.. The game is kinda old, But still amazing.. It should have a game with all the big provinces put together to make a huge map.. And should all tree chopping, Firemaking, You know, Add stuff from Minecraft That makes Minecraft cool.

Need atleast 5mb free server host.. My server has no name currently, Hmod 135, tons of plugins, Can't be 24/7 untill i get a host, No whitelist, Quite a bit of freedom on the server, and if you host you get the rank of owner. :biggrin.gif:... Well thanks and don't post about how much of an idiot I am for asking for a free host.. Ty :biggrin.gif:

It's your texture pack, It was recently fixed for painterly i think.. But it all depends on your texture pack.

One suggestion per thread is pretty confusing. Why not all of them in an organized list?

This is a non-prioritized list of what I want to be added to minecraft.

1: Seasons And Weather

2: The ability to write in books, with immediate SMP support to make writing letters to each other cool.

3: SMP replacement of the ID's to spawn items, with the item name, (Ex. Instead of typing /give (name) 1 64 You could type /give (name) stone 64)

4: More mobs. We need tree mobs, cave mobs, more water mobs, and air mobs.. List of mobs I want right now: Horse, Rabbit (that can tunnel), Insects, Birds, Buffalo, Humans (toggleable), Wolves, Foxes, Dogs, Cats, A whole bunch more..

5: Climbing trees, and tree drops.

6: Diseases and hunger

7: More foods, like fruits vegetables etc.

8: Weight.. The more you eat, the bigger you get, right? (also item weight)

9: Capes, shields, knives, axes doing the same dmg as swords, hats, and crossbows

10: The ability to own a city, town, empire, group, or clan..

11: Time advancement depending on how many people in your empire are working on building certain things

12: Specific difficulty sliders

13: Bed run-time, Time should go on while you sleep.. Why would the world pause for your little beauty rests?

14: More-block-realism! We shouldn't be able to punch through stone.. And we should get bloody shards of glass in our faces when we punch through a window!

15: Tree-realism, You punch the bottom of a tree, it falls.. Simple.

16: Fuse. Light the fuse, wait however long.. (1sec per block of fuse?) And then the electricity is given, (this block deletes itself after it is burned through, but passes the fire on to the next piece of fuse as it deletes itself)

17: Matches, lanterns, more ores.

18: Item repair.. Anvil block, hammer.

19: More to come, Post your own ideas, and I'll add them.. Maybe this could become the Minecraft team's go-to for ideas on what to put in the game.. But that would never happen without support. So post your ideas. Or what you think of the list.

I have checked the minecraft.jar, and the "pack200modloader.class" is there and i get this error about 5 mins into playing on the server:

I have reinstalled it, blanked the world and everything, the server works fine untill i get this, then about five minutes after i get this, my computer has unimaginable lagg, it crashes, and i have to reboot.. I'd like to fix this soon.. I don't do anything out of the ordinary when this happens, but it is otherwise fine. Even if i don't have any of the modded items in my inventory, i get this.. PM ME! I probably won't see your post solution. I'm using vanilla MC server jar file, windows 7, and i have a fairly good connection / computer.
