I literally haven't played Minecraft in a YEAR; but today I accidentally clicked on my Bookmarks folder and I found this page in there. Clicked on it, and now I'm a bit sad. This all brought back a lot of memories of times I used to have on this forum and in Minecraft. It's crazy that I really stopped playing and just never looked back, but I have a lot more time for other stuff now that I've quit Minecraft. For all the people still commenting on this post: it really warms my heart that people do care about the effort I put into my map. However, I'm certainly not going to be making any others. I've forgotten how to play Minecraft at this point, and even just clicking around the forum, everything feels so foreign, although I see a lot of my old friends here.
So yeah-- I'll probably be back here every few months (as I have so far) whenever I remember this place. I had lots of fun playing Minecraft, but it's just not for me anymore. Sorry guys. <3 Love you all!

Mar 30, 2013Hai! Sorry to potentially hijack the thread here, but I am on esper.net on the channel #ctm right now, hanging out with some people! Come along if you want to say hi to me and catch up on stuff.Posted in: Maps
So that I don't take it too off-topic here, but still posting here since my old-time friends are here, the short version of things is that I stopped playing Minecraft entirely. I will still come to the forums to say hi every so often, but I have stopped developing my map series, and I don't play at all anymore.
For the people who've been here a long time and remember me, this isn't the last time you'll get to say hi to me again. I will pop in from time to time, but those times will probably be scarce.
For those new-timers on the thread here: hello! I'm a person that used to post here a lot, and I was a very active member of the community. Around early January, I decided that I wanted to have a social life and wanted to not be addicted to Minecraft, so I stopped playing entirely, and I have never really felt the urge to come back.
To keep this at least a little bit on-topic, thanks, Vechs, for all the fun times you've given me over the year in which I played CTM maps! December 2011 to December 2012, you will always be remembered as a time of fun and Minecraft. <3
Hope to see some of you around, and thanks for all the fun!

Alright :/ Glad to hear you're not dead or anything, but it kinda sucks that you're leaving. Good luck with stuff and things, and maybe I'll see you at another forensics tournament sometime. Should I continue my Lonely Lands series then, or switch to something else?
Sure! Feel free to continue the series. I might watch it-- although I've stopped playing Minecraft, I'm not above watching an LP or two every so often. And I do hope to see you at a tournament sometime!
By the way, I'm on esper.net on the channel #ctm right now, catching up with some old CTM regulars. If you come soon, you can chat with me there and catch up with me.
Mar 30, 2013Hey guys!Posted in: Maps
First off, I must say: sorry for my long period of absent-ness with little explanation! I'm sure some of you were wondering why my midterms were just a week, yet I've been gone for months.
Problem is, I have basically stopped playing Minecraft. I was one of those people who was like "wut, being bored of Minecraft? Impossibru!" I suppose it's not so much that I got bored of Minecraft, though, I just wanted more time to live my real life and socialize. I was somewhat addicted (ain't we all?) to Minecraft, and I decided to just stop playing completely. I have thought about starting again, but the massive amount of features added to the game, and having to learn about all of them, turn me off of it a little. But the real reason is just that I have moved onto other things. I rarely game at all anymore, and have a better social life because of it. Less time on the computer = more time to do other things!
I'm not suggesting anybody else quit Minecraft or anything else; and I'm not saying stopping will be for everyone. It's just that a combination of me wanting to not be addicted to it, and then no real desire to go back to playing it, have basically made me stop playing Minecraft.
What does this mean for The Lonely Lands? Most probably, (a 99.99% chance), I will not be developing any further maps in the series or updating any. If someone out there cares enough about the map to update it to 1.5, feel free to do that! I doubt anyone will, but if you want to, it's always an option. I am very sorry that I won't be making either of the new maps-- I know there are some people that were enthusiastic about the future maps, and I am sorry to let those people down.
As for my activity on the forums, I most probably will not really post here or browse the Minecraft Forums anymore. I am posting here a final (well, that makes it sound too final, really) time just to say goodbye to you guys. (Well, that's not entirely true. I will log on from time to time to say hai to you guys. I won't never log on again after this, but my logons will be fairly infrequent).
If anyone has any questions about why I stopped playing, or any requests or comments or something, just reply!
Jan 21, 2013Aight guys! Red has made the new CTM Shop thread. Although he didn't ask me my permission to do it, I don't mind at all. I was sort of hoping someone would make a new one, because I just don't think I'm going to have time to continue this thread.Posted in: Maps Discussion
I am playing Minecraft again somewhat; spending most of my time on the wonderful Project Ares servers though. This means not much progress on my CTM maps, or on this thread.
y'all can keep discussing things on this thread, or let it die. Whatever you want. Community can has decide. Hope it's been useful (as much as a derpy Isaac thread could have been) to you!
Good luck Red.

I hope this communication written ere this day of the month January finds you in full health, both in body and soul, and I ask thou to hearest me the following:
Dearest sir, also known in additional locations as Vechs or Vaks, I hereby would appreciate just a tidbit of your most valuable time and use this marvelous opportunity to kindly beseech you of the following: wouldst thou consider, regardless of current occupations, to carry forward with the plans laidst out by thou ere many moons ago in a fashion bearing with most haste?
Many thanks and declarations of gratitude,
Yours truly, shiden9000.
Jan 9, 2013Don't worry guys, I'm not (quite) dead! I just have midterms right now in school, and I've stopped playing Minecraft for a little while to write a novel.Posted in: Maps Discussion
Unfortunately I'm probably going to be fairly unactive over the next few months until the summer. ;( I'll drop in occasionally to see you guys, but I'm so insanely busy IRL that it's hard for me to ever get on here, or play Minecraft anymore.
But don't worry, I'd never forget about the forums or you guys! You all iz mah besties <3
Jan 3, 2013Cameron, I'd suggest you keep LPing the original map. The remake might not be out for a very, very long time, and when it is out since it'll be so different than the original, I'm just going to release it as an entirely new map, not enother version of the same map.Posted in: Maps
And Whiteblade, without you providing moar specifics I have no idea how to solve your problem. =/ The download comes in a .zip format, which you should be able to use by just downloading it if you're on a Mac, but I don't know about if you're on a PC.

Thank you very much for the offer, I really do appreciate it, but I have to decline.
If you ever need any menial tasks done that would make the community happy if completed but you don't want to do, just call on me.
Jan 2, 2013Late Isaac is late to the argument, as usual. I was going to make a meme but memegenerator died on me. D: Yerp, not going to start the argument again, I'm going to offer a nice shiny solution.Posted in: Maps
Personally, I love putting in custom loot. It's one of my favorite aspects of mapmaking, perhaps my favorite one. The feeling I'm getting is that Vak wants custom loot to be in each chest, but he doesn't have time to do it. OOH OOH HERE'S THE PART WHERE I COME IN ok shut up isaac.
Vachkz, if you send out a copy of Inferno Maynez to me, I'd be happy to spend a full day of my life just putting in custom loot for you. You could send me an email or message with what tiers of loot (chain, leather, etc.) you want in each general area of the map, and I could fill every loot chest manually with unique loot for you. I have midterms next week, so I have off from school for about 2 weeks and just have to come in every day to take my midterms for an hour or so. So I'll have plenty of time to do this for you if you want me to.
Vak if you see this and tl;dr, basically i willz be yor loot slave and you don't even have to give me credit or nuthin in the map,
you just have to let me fwap'a derp on your pet bat and Rosie.
Jan 1, 2013For this page get, I'm going to be giving y'all some newz.Posted in: Maps
Humble Beginnings is going to be completely remade.
EDIT: Oh kjshdkjfh, it wasn't a page get. ;_;
Dec 29, 2012isaac_bardin posted a message on [CTM] [Collection] Krose's EXTREME ADVENTURES Series [[1.9 MINI-CTM HAS BEEN RELEASED!!]]Hello Krose!Posted in: Maps
A review of your map series by Hybran has been posted in my CTM Shop! You can find that right here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1535400-shop-ctm-ctm-shop/
Your series got a rating of 7.5 out of 10, a highly respectable score. This score can change when you release new maps, as can the actual text of the review.
If you have any questions or comments, feel free to comment me or Hybran. Hope this gets you more popularity!
Here's the full review:
Author: Kroseklan4Rating: 7.5Commentary: Krose's maps are interesting, as they have this feeling that they flow along through completely weird terrain and castles, unjustifiable, and then into cramped caves where you'll get lost coming back with that precious wool of yours. His use of weird enchanted loot helps balance the map out, as I was constantly changing from a typical sword to an enchanted item to help me fight swarms of enemies. His second map, Skyward Ascent, focuses heavily on 1.3/1.4 feature being implemented into fitting spots, which makes it one of the first maps that does this successfully. Although most of the terrain looks marvellous, to me something's off about some of it, like I've seen it done before in other maps. Still, the designs are amazing, and I'd recommend these maps for anyone who just wants fast-paced CTM fun.Picture:Spoiler:
Dec 29, 2012Thanks for the list Yuri! Added them all to the thread. I also added all the one-off maps from the old CTM Central just as links.Posted in: Maps Discussion
I've contacted all my reviewers and asked them to review; most of them are really slow at reviewing ( ) so basically this thread will get updated as fast as they review. I've given them a huge list of maps to review; so if they ever decide to actually stop being lazy and play any I'll update the thread. (jk reviewers, I love you. <3). Hopefully we can get a lot of reviews soon-- this thread is a pretty comprehensive CTM guide right now, but I want to add a lot more reviews.
