    Thanks to anyone that uses my mods. I recently got a letter from Google that states they are shutting down the file serving capability of Drive. That is where I host all my files. As such, I'll look into some other method of sharing.

    I'm not sure what you mean by compress into a js? It is already a js...in fact a single file without any added textures. That was the point of this quick mod, just to make a small thing that was useful to those with potato farms. That's also why I made it craft puffer fish and other things you can USE to brew INTO various potions. Also, with the 0.15 update bringing pistons, slime is really useful to get!


    -I tried to do a fertilizer thing in Super Door Operator 2000. What I ended up with was adding inert fertilizer, that could be crafted into bone meal (the mechanisms were too wonky with getting all the % just right and I think the mod engine was interfering with the game engine's drive on the various vegetation I was messing with). I was never satisfied the quality of the code was high enough for a release.

    -I like the ideas for more foods...if I can get someone to do the textures, I'd be willing to put the code behind it to add on the foods

    -I might be able to SIMULATE mobs eating the poison...but I think it's easier for everyone to just craft a throwable poison potion (which would not work on undead...as they are dead...try it out! They get hurt with HEALING potions)

    -the die thing wouldn't really work because of how dies work in the game...I'd have to skin EVERYTHING...that's a lot to get light brown, great idea though!

    -help me understand how / why poison potatoes would change the dirt around? Do you mean something like 3 potatoes and 1 dirt gives 1 grass block? Or do you mean you tap the grass block with a poison potato and it kills everything (consuming the potato in the process)? I'm thinking the second idea is a really unique one that I'd love to add, but I wanted to understand you first.

    That is true, but have you looked at the ID list? It has not changed in a long time. AFAIK, the only thing that changes is adding new things. Even the Nether Reactor is still in there! The main thing that seems to have goofed up most mods - the Observer took over a favorite block id.


    If you do know of something I missed (I am human after all...I think...), please let me know.

    DungeonRealmsMobile, thanks for the support! That keeps me working!


    As of this post, my new mods are going to be slow. I've been busy in life and have been working on 2 Epic sized mods. They are taking a LOT of my time. I also have 1 normal sized mod and 3 small ones that I have in the works.

    I also still want to re-work Super Door Operator 2000, since the MAJOR purpose that it had is now gone (Pistons are available!). Especially the engine that I made has use for certain, but I think that some of the features I added need to be split off into their own mods. For example there is some semi-automated farming in there. That should be split off. I also want to add in Redstone triggering.


    Anyway, I wanted to post that EagleREX has created a similar mod and I thought it might be neat for anyone interested in this mod to check his mod out. His colored Glowstone has 1/2 slabs! How creative!

    You will have to wait for BlockLauncher to be updated or try one of the betas that just came out.

    I wrote this under 0.14 and have no reason to think that the code will not work on 0.15 since there is no logic in there. All I did was add come crafting recipes. If that doesn't work in 0.15, that would break a LOT of mods.

    There is a switch to bring it out of Safe Mod, it is under Launcher Settings.

    If you are using 0.15, as of this writing, there are a few betas, but it is not compatible at this time, which is most likely the cause of your issue. Just have patience and eventually working versions will be released.

    I was thinking of adding a SUPER TNT, or something like that. Anyone have interest in that? Maybe 5x TNT, by using a TNT surrounded by Poison Potatoes and Gun Powder.


    Any other suggestions?

    Potatoes are really versatile and can be used for many things!

    This mod adds crafting recipes to allow more uses for potatoes, especially uses for the useless POISON potato!!




    Did you know that potatoes can be used as a power source? The only power in Minecraft is redstone. Since we cannot change the potency, why not just allow you to substitute TWO redstone dust for two poison potatoes?


    Did you know that potatoes can be used to remove rust? Since Minecraft does NOT have rust, why not just use two poison potatoes in place of two iron ingots when crafting a block of iron?


    Netherwart does some really neat things...why can't it also CLEAN a poisonous potato? Well, NOW IT CAN!



    Why is the poison potato poisonous? Could it be that it is rotten? If it is rotten, it is squishy and gooey. Mix this with dirt, cobblestone or stone and you get CLAY! Now you can make lots of bricks, which can be formed into BRICK BLOCKS! The other creeper proof block!


    Fermented poison or rotten potatoes can start to expel alcohol. There are also many ways to make TNT. As part of all the additional clay you are getting, why not craft TNT!

    You only need a bit of gunpowder, clay, and chuck in a few rotten potatoes for good measure!


    Speaking of gooey rotten potatoes, rotten flesh is rather sticky as well! Craft a slimeball using a rotten flesh and a poisonous potato!

    How great!


    What if you need MORE poison potatoes? With all these GREAT things you can craft, I'm sure you want LOTS of them!! Just as a fermented spider eye can invert a brewed potion, so can a fermented Netherwart! To save you time, you only need to craft using 1 step!


    Speaking of fermented Spider Eyes and Brewing...did you know that potatoes can coat glass and make them resistant to fogging up?

    In Minecraft we can't prevent that, but why not give you a Pufferfish so you can BREW underwater breathing?

    Hi there,


    Can I port this to MCPE for use in my mod (assuming I follow your rules)? I do not think we can use 32x32, so I will have to resize/redraw the textures to make them 16x16 as well as rename the files to add a _0 to them.


    I would keep your name on the assets as well as your texture pack.png, I would then only need to add to the text you already have in the pack.mcdata to say "ported by Ironhead65"
