The problem seems to be with trying to organize a file repository (yes, I know there are no files actually here ) out of a forum. You don't get the options to find recently updated files while filtering out recent comments or vice-versa.
What you should really do is grab IP.Downloads and build a proper Downloads section. This can be customized to use the external download links provided by Authors, create a thread for each Texture Pack/Mod/etc., and give a proper interface for searching files.

From your previous posts, I seem to recall godcraft being hosted on a pretty beefy dedicated system. If your datacenter/ISP can't mitigate a 90 Mbps attack ( really small in the DC world ) in a couple of hours, you need to find a new host ASAP. In the interim, I wouldn't be looking at any 3rd party (D)DOS mitigation unless you have control over the routers and BGP coming into your system's network. Having just the system, all you're really going to be able to do is iptables. This is REALLY sad though if your ISP can't fix this.
Slight issue I've found with the new way /give works. It's stacking tools in the same block in inventory, which is in turn clearing any existing tool's durability. Would it be possible to modify this for tools so that it first searches for an empty inventory space, and drops it if none are available?
Properties look OK, and doing more than skimming over your error (sorry, thought it was network earlier), it looks like it's having access problems to the server's file or to it's own directory. You may want to confirm you have write permissions to the directory it's in and that the file is not read-only. Also, what OS?
Need help! I did what the Readme file said, but when I launched "launch.bat" for the first time, it said it could not access Minecraft_server.jar.
All other times after that it states the same, and when I press enter.

when I press a key to continue, it just shuts down.
Please help! I am so tired of programs like this not working for me, and I just really want to play online on the downloaded client with my friends.
1) The program isn't working for you not because of the program, but because of you. You have to understand that if you are one person having a problem out of dozens, then it is most likely YOUR fault.
2) Let's solve the issue. Did you download minecraft_server.jar from minecraft.net?
I just redownloaded minecraf_server.jar AND SimpleServer, and followed the readme file to the point. Same **** happened. Is there something I should write in the properties file, because I dont understand half of what stands there.
So my bottom bar is bad. I do not want infinite blocks.
The other servers bottom bar is good. It supports items.
Where do I download the server to allow items to be made? Survival Multiplaer.
MUST ALLOW PLAYERS TO MAKE ITEMS.
Thank you.
This post is how he keeps getting to creative. It sounds like you are only connecting using creative and going to another server you have setup. You need to download the server from the page given, download the alpha CLIENT also. Run that, connect to your server, done. Stop using anything that's listed as creative.
I'm not sure if it has been suggested but, I think it would be great if you could add hey0 plugin compatibility, since I really like the cuboid plugin. I really want Simple Server since it has locked chests but I love cuboids so I cant decide. BTW I would switch if you either add hey0 compatibility or hey0 plugins.
Have you read any of the last 24 pages? Both can be used and integrate rather well.
How do i know when my HD texture pack is installed because when i try water still moves could anyone make a guide on how to install the hd pack
1) Open your minecraft.jar
2) Copy in the standard mixcraft files
3) Copy in the mixcraft HD files
4) Close your minecraft.jar
5) Extract the patcher to the same directory as your minecraft.jar
6) Run patcher
7) Play Minecraft
If any of these steps are too vague, please read around the forum more, the info is out there.
Working on some customizations and have another request :smile.gif:
Would it be possible to get a property for a command to be run after the backup has been copied and the world released, but before the tmp directory is compressed? I'm thinking this would make a great place for the c10t script to be run, or any other arbitrary script for things to placed in with the backups. Currently, to get a map of the backed up world, I would have to find the lastest backup, decompress it, generate the images, add them to the existing archive, and then clear the temp. Having a command at this point would eliminate almost all of that and save me some I/O and CPU time.
yeah i've been pondering ways to basically establish before-after relationships for backups, saving, restarting, etc.
I don't have a clear solution yet, but it is something I am thinking about.
The ways I see possible are either by putting in properties to allow users to specify their own scripts to run at points along the currently arbitrarily timed process, or by scheduling the entire process. The former would probably be the easiest to implement in code and may be a nice stop-gap solution, but the later would allow greater flexibility to the user. I imagine the later setting up a cron like scheduler where actions can be defined on either specific intervals ( every 5 minutes ) or at specific times ( on the half hour and/or hour ). Both of these would allow users to run their desired commands in the proper place, but I'm personally hoping to see the scheduler as that would other allow apps to run at defined times without interfering with the server processes or having to have a scripting interface for the server to call. Just my 2 cents

In server.properties add the line:
This property is listed and explained on the first page of this post.
