I've adjusted my population and military size to be ~2.8mil and ~600,000 respectively. Still a bit unsure of the civilian/soldier ratio, but if nobody has any issues with it, so be it.

History: Mylanos was originally a region consisting of several warring tribes, in varying degrees of conflict from minor skirmishes to total war. But as the centuries went on, alliances were formed, differences were set aside, and roughly 230 years ago, Mylanos became the nation it is today. The Mylanese people still emphasize strength and power, focusing moreso on its military, which rules the country, than academics or trade.
Environment: Mylanos is mostly a forested region, and as such, lumber is its chief export. The climate is subtropical, with mild winters and summers. The forests contain a bountiful number of animals, where most meat is hunted, as opposed to raising livestock. The majority of farming is done in the southeast, with the primary crops being potatoes and wheat. The ground contains a fair amount of metals, but the nation is not industrialized enough to mine it at the pace needed to supply the massive military with weapons and armor.
Major Cities/Infrastructure: Aside from the numerous small forts and villages, there are four major cities in Mylanos. On the coast, Fort Kandor is the primary port city and home to the country's tiny navy. Fort Emond is the capital city, with more barracks than houses. Most of its population is comprised of military officers. In the west, Fort Baerlon is not a city, but a massive training ground for the even more massive military. Thanks to compulsory military service, every citizen of Mylanos passes through Fort Baerlon at some point. Fort Valon, in the southeast, is the largest city by population and is the manufacturing hub of the nation. Everything from shields to siege weapons is made in one of the many forges here. The only major infrastructure is the long road stretching across the country from northwest to southeast, connecting the four major cities.
Expertise: The military is obviously Mylanos's bread and butter. But the nation is also known for its metalworking, producing high quality swords that are illegal to export. The only major export is lumber, usually traded for iron ore. Although the nation does grow crops, hunt, and fish, they do not produce much in the way clothing, tools, or luxury items. Therefore, the majority of consumer goods need to be imported.
Military: Since Mylanos is a stratocracy, it boasts a massive and powerful land army, however, the navy is practically nonexistent. The government requires six years of compulsory service, regardless of gender or health. The military follows this hierarchy of organization from platoon to army.
There aren't many regulations regarding what a soldier should be equipped with, as long as they're able to serve the function of their unit type. Therefore, it is usually up to the officers to decide whatever weapons, armor, and secondary equipment is used by their men. Armor includes the usual padded, mail, and plate armor. Weaponry includes spears, short/long swords, short/long bows, horses, round/kite shields, daggers, and siege engines. Notably, crossbows are not widely used due to their long reload time.
Culture: Mylanos is obviously very military-centric. Instead of social classes, people are usually only divided by whether they are officers or enlisted personnel. Civilians use the military rank they attained during compulsory service to distinguish themselves. Men and women are treated equally, and there is no discrimination based on gender, race, wealth, or religion. The only thing a person will be judged by is their fighting prowess, since the Mylanese take great pride in both their military and personal strength. Despite their way of life, Mylanos and its people will usually try to resolve matters peacefully at least once before using excessive amounts of violence.
Crime and poverty are both virtually nonexistent, since the government is happy to provide for any citizen who reenlists. Those who are caught breaking the law will be forced to do menial labor for the rest of their life, on a farm or in a mine.
Here is a map of the cities. The names are "borrowed" from various locations in The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, which I just started reading. The only inspiration for Mylanos comes from the country of Amestris (from the anime Fullmetal Alchemist), and a bit from ancient Sparta.
Also, I hope my usage of the "modern" military hierarchy isn't an issue, since a fair bit of it dates back several centuries. But I can just change the names to something else if I need to.
As far as the population goes, I've no idea what is low, normal, or high, so I'm just going to say 2.8~ million. And as for the actual number of people in the military, again, that has to be based on population, which I'm totally unsure of what to put. But due to the military focus, government type, compulsory service, and lack of gender inequality, I'd like to say it's no less than 900,000~? That's either way too high or way too low.
Also, like I kind of mentioned when I reserved Mylanos, I've been a bit busy with schoolwork lately and I only really had time to give this app one pass. So I'm really open to feedback and criticism regarding the app, since I didn't have much time to work on it.

I'd like to reserve Mylanos. Hopefully I can write the app Friday or Saturday, but I'm currently zero words into a Western Civ research paper as it is.

((My character is a mute. As it's stated in my post, he typed that out on his phone and showed it to Samson.))

The more Scion spoke, the larger Adrian's frown grew. First, he doesn't get an autograph. Now the guy is throwing the moral rulebook at him. It's a shame Adrian is out of options. Oh well, at least he's getting paid to do what he loves, albeit with those restrictions. "We both know you didn't enjoy killing those people, I don't see why you have a problem with Scion's instructions," his Muse told him. Stupid Muse, always making sense.
Adrian perked up at Samson's mention of free food. ALM probably serves slop for every meal, so some decent food would be nice, especially since he is so low on credits. He turns to Samson as he activates his Skinflex, slowly altering his appearance just enough to avoid setting off any facial recognition software in the city, while typing out his message on his phone and showing it to Samson. "I'm in. Is a ride there and back included as well? I walked here."

Adrian, when he saw Scion, went wide-eyed, mouth agape like an idiot. It isn't every day you get to meet your hero, especially your dead hero. Lacking the ability to speak, he simply grinned and waved enthusiastically. After a moment, he remembered he had his phone to communicate with. He typed out "Can I have your autograph?" in a large font and showed his phone's screen toward Scion.
((Sorry for the kind of short post. I've been awake for 34 hours. Plus I don't really know what else I can say (or, I guess type, since my character is a mute). Also, how long ago in the IC timeline was WW3? Also (again), as long as the RP progresses at least every 48-72 hours or so I'll be a happy camper.))

As they wait for the last member to arrive, Adrian looks at the rest of the group with interest, trying to figure out who they are and what he's doing here. They're either the weirdest cops he's ever seen, or they're not cops at all. He releases the knife in his pocket, since it wouldn't help him much if so many people really did try attacking him. When Wilson finally lets them inside, Adrian wonders if this is all just a joke. Or a trap. After the secret lift is activated, he rides it down and takes out his smartphone, scanning for any wireless networks to hack while Wilson gets the door.

Adrian was sitting in a cafe, comfortably out of the rain, when he received a text. "Go to Warehouse 106793 in Old Town. Today." He sighed, wondering whether he'd be greeted by police officers or corporation goons. Even his Muse thought it was a trap. But he had nothing better to do, and he was always eager to win a fight. He got up and walked out the door, not minding the rain.
~A lot of walking later~
Adrian approached the group shortly after Wilson calmed them down. He waves with his left hand, while his right is in his pocket, clutching his butterfly knife. He wonders when someone is going to try to arrest or kill him.
"Not what I was expecting..." He thinks to himself.
((If anyone wants to recognize my character, feel free. He was recently on the news for breaking into a building, botching it, killing 6 workers and 9 cops during his escape, and is now wanted.))

Name: Adrian Stevens

Hacker. Thief. Mute. Guy who thinks he's cool just because he knows Krav Maga. Adrian Stevens is a lifelong resident of Lynnhaven. He was born a mute. He grew up a fighter. When you can't verbally express yourself, you express yourself physically. Adrian fought others frequently, so he figured he might as well train to be good at it. As a teenager, he began practicing martial arts.
One year, for his birthday, Adrian received his first piece of wetware. His parents gave him a Muse, so he would finally have someone to talk to. He immediately became fascinated with it, and sought to modify it to be as much of a friend as an advice-giver. So, he learned to code. He enjoyed it, and he was very good at it. Eventually, his interest expanded, and he started tinkering with machines as well.
Entering adulthood, Adrian began looking for work. At first, he was a freelance programmer. Code something, get paid, repeat. Simple. But he was capable of so much more. He hacked, either selling information from computers he shouldn't have access to or stealing from bank accounts directly. The most lucrative payouts required infiltrating a building to access the machines directly. Easy enough... Just knock out a guard or two, avoid a few cameras, and it's done. Over time, he operated with more finesse. It was easier to go in and out unseen than to fight every obstacle, even if the latter was more fun. He acquired more nanoware and wetware to assist in his work.
Adrian wasn't as careful as he needed to be. The corporations he robbed, both digitally and physically, were on to him. Things took a turn for the worse when a job went wrong. He tripped an alarm in the building he broke in to, and ended up killing six innocent workers and nine police officers to escape. His face was all over the news. Not even his parents would shelter him. His accounts were frozen, his parents despised him, the government and corporations alike were searching for him, and, unbeknownst to Adrian, the family of one of the officers he murdered had even put out a hit on him.
When Adrian received his message to head to Old Town, he expected a trap. But he has nothing better to do, and he'll take any opportunity at a new life. With the remnants of his possessions (along with a few things he bought on the streets) strapped to his back in a bag, he begins the long walk across the city.
Backpack | Laptop | Basic set of tools (including lockpicks, if non-electronic locks still exist) | Beretta M9 pistol (With ankle holster) | Two mags of 9mm hollow points | Smartphone | Two changes of clothing (One casual, one stealthy) | Butterfly knife | 37 Credits
Other (optional): I'm extremely happy to see a Rekindle reboot. Also, my app is probably terrible. But probably not as bad as my Rekindle app. Also, I haven't come up with a name for my (female) Muse yet. I'll take suggestions if you have them. Also (again), MC Forums messed up the formatting the first time. I think I fixed it, though.
EDIT: Changed surname since someone else already had it.
