MineVillage Server ATTENTION
Since our server has been lagging and has some bugs. We are all going to have to wait until the whooolee Minecraft comes out. Since the Minecraft we have right now isn't the real one. (I know, hard to believe that) we are all going to have to wait until November, the predicted release date of the full Minecraft!

Okay, so what I'm trying to do is make a city server. WITHOUT ridiculous stuff you find in most servers. Earlier, I was trying to make a server until I found out it lagged alot.

Below is the planned city lots:
Bookshelves=Hotel of MineVillage (Spawn location in the lobby)
Sponge=Bank of MineVillage
Flowers=
Glass with Creeper in the middle=Lab (Where all the city's tests are going on)
Glass with Flint=Offices (Every citizen with a high class job will have their own office)
Diamond Blocks with Leaves in the middle=Donation Drive (If you dont want to throw your stuff into the disposal, just put it in the Dontaion Chest)
What's cool in our NEW city:
Marriage (When you marry another person, not for real, they become a companion of yours and you become a companion of theirs. They should be their where ever you go. When you get married, come up to the front desk of the hotel and you should get another bed...for free. You must have proof that you have married another.)

Below are the listing applications you could sign up for:
Miner
Your job is to mine for minerals, lava, and to search underground for any caves full of mob spawners and chests.
Redstone Technician
You are the "burning candle" of the city. Your job is to make redstone objects and such. Lighting to locking, rollercoasters to clocks. You will be given regular torches and glowstones most of the time.
Woodcutter
Your job is to cut and raise trees for building and decorations.
Builder
Without these people, we would live in the ground. Your job is to build projects and structures for the citizens of MineVillage.
Cook
You feed and craddle the city like a baby. Your job is to cook all the foods named in the Minecraft Cooking Recipe Book (pretty small book if you know what I mean). The meaning for having a cook is to feed the citizens of MineVillage. You will sometimes be called "Doctor", for healing injured citizens.
Farmer
Your job is to farm cacti, wheat, sugarcanes, milk, eggs, mushrooms, porkchops, and sometimes to go and search for apples (very rare!). You will assist the cooks with food.
Guard
You will protect the city of all harm. Zombies, skeletons, criminals (criminals will be very rare to find because I will let only the honest people of Minecraft into our city).
Educator
Your job is to educate others about many things, such as...city plans, how to build, where to build, etc.
PayPal
...At least that is what they are called. They are the city's pals that pay others. Your job is to give the paychecks to those who have worked for the city. Every week, the citizens of MineVillage will line up at the bank. Double-file lines. And, for every day (except the the next day of the city's paychecks) you are absent for your paycheck, an interest of money will be deducted from your pay. (Note: Paychecks do not apply to those who do not work for the city, unless ordered to by the mayor.)
Scavenger
They work with the farmers to harvest vegetation and meat. Your job is to work on the lines of monsters and to obtain their items. (only if ordered to by a higher class than you)
Director/Cameraman
Your job is to create videos for the monthly show via YouTube. The people will be given the channel of the show and more.
(Note: Jobs besides the options above are not city jobs. You will not get a pay from the bank, you will get the pay from your manager, a.k.a "boss", or from your profit.

Rules---
By joining this server, you must not do the following: Tell anyone else of the I.P. (I do not like using the white-list). Do any crimes or sins. Kill others.
But you may do these: Play fair. Act like it is a REAL city, except with no crimes. Buy and sell appropriately.

Boat Piloting School
This type of education will teach the citizens of MineVillage about the rules of transportation. There are rules about saddles, boats (mainly this transport), minecarts, and the future updates of Minecraft. These are the rules and tips:
i.Owning a boat---
An owner of a boat is responsible for the damage and driving. If you were to pass a stop sign WITHOUT stopping, you will be given a ticket of $10. If you were to wait in a line, even for a quarter of an hour and drive between the boats, you will be given...A TICKET (a fine up to $10). Every citizen must be very careful and responsible for the driving skills. (I hope you have read this)
When parking in an area with other boats, even when you are all alone, you must put a sign near your boat saying "Your IGN here", Ex:"Slayerownz". When you are driving and you have to leave the server because you have to do an assignment or chore, always park in an area. Because when you log out, your boat will still be there (so don't go reckless and drive everywhere all crazy).
ii.Protection, Safety, & Rules---
When driving a boat, you must not drive like a mad man! You must fragily drive through the canals [a.k.a ROADS] of MineVillage. ATTENTION: IN MINEVILLAGE YOU MUST ALWAYS DRIVE ON THE RIGHT-SIDE OF THE ROAD. AND YOU MUST NEED A DRIVERS LICENSE TO DRIVE A BOAT. Here are the signs in the rules of driving [Note: That almost all of these signs come from the US's present road signs]:
This means...solid lines. You DO NOT EVER pass this line, unless you are willing to pay $10 for a hundred tickets ($10x100) then yes, you can act crazy and get into debt.
This means...you must always drive on the right-side of the canal except when there are no boats on the left-side of the canal, then you can drive on it.
Ahh...thee old dotted line. These are the most common lines in the US. They are everywhere you go. This means...these lines can be driven between all the time, as long as you dont switch to the left-side canal.
These are stop signs. Since there are no traffic lights in Minecraft, I guess these will do. [Note: Unless a redstone technician will make us traffic lights out of redstone, then yes...no stop signs for us.]
The rest of the driving methods and rules will be taught in the schoolhouse of MineVillage.
