I have uploaded my first very short video of my soon to be Minecraft series & I'm looking for a couple suggestions towards whether or not I should start a new map, or continue on with the one I started last night. Here is the link to the video:
The point of this thread? Many people have already found pink sheep, including myself. Not to mention, I have never seen someone argue against the fact that pink sheep are in the game. Also, saying you saw a pink sheep is not proof.
Yesterday I decided to see how terrain generated in the Beta would look like in my Alpha world. As I reached the end of my old chunks, the new chunks that had generated look awful. Basically the new chunks were sheer cliff sides. Is there a way I can make my Alpha save generate new land smoothly and naturally? I don't have an image but I hope what I'm trying to convey gets across. I have already tried deleting chunks with mcedit, however the same issue occurs.
ive had my main world since the tree leaves didn't degenerate and it's only 12 mb believe it or not... tho i've never seen lapis lazul or a snow biome or a pine tree or a birch tree... heck all ive ever seen were normal trees in a normal biome
I completely forgot how the normal old trees looked like until I re-visited my Alpha map last night. I never noticed that they had two different types of leaves on them; or I forgot that they had them.
I'm curious to hear how many of you actually still play on your Alpha map/world. I revisited mine last night and it was actually a lot of fun to go back and look at everything I did when I first started playing minecraft. Is your Alpha map currently your main world? Or do you go back and visit it every once in awhile?; if you still have it of course.
**** BIOMES! Sorry I had to get that out. Personally, I prefer the alpha 1.2_01 but it is no longer with us. I loved the old generator every corner you turn there is an epic formation not to mention...(THATS WHAT SHE SAID!)
Look at the Minecraft icon now look at the grass look back to the icon and you will see that Minecraft was better of without biomes though I do like the snow trees.
I think you're mistaking alpha for creative mode.
Learn some facts 'beta boy'.
I'm not a fan of the biomes either. I really just want a map with epic mountain formations and odd but cool looking structures. I'm not a fan of the winter or desert biomes.

I find myself using two redstone inverters instead of a repeater. I feel similar as well.

Search up Coe's Quest on youtube. His mob drowner does absolutely everything except shed sheep. It even collects eggs and what not.

If you have them sit, they won't teleport to you. Regardless to how far you are from them. However some have experienced it happening.
