I'm just giving you some friendly advice. If you want to go with them that's completely up to you and I won't complain, honestly it's not like it's any of my business anyway. But there is a certain amount of money needed per GB for a host to be profitable and you need to realize if they're selling for $16 per 2GB then something is going on behind the scenes -- be it overselling, under-staffing, cheap hardware. etc. etc.

You're paying for the support staff, servers, legal, taxes and finally misc expenses. $20 per GB sounds just right to me and anyone selling for anything significantly less you should be wary of as they likely wont be around after six months.

Look at my thread and the hosts I posted. I needed help deciding which one is best! I dont want to be rude, but I wanted others to post their server if they think they are as good as those... or better.

2.CubedHost Gonna get $16 2GB 32slot stone package
Pros: cheap, online chat, FTP, looks like it has good reviews Cons: They might have overselled..., other stuff I'm not sure of
Pros: from experience: FTP, online support / fast tickets, kinda cheap (compared to most), gave me $2.00 because they lagged my server... Cons: no afilliates program, lot of problems on my server, I am CURRENTLY having a huge lag problem for everyong loggin in (thats why I posted)

Cheap is never better when it comes to hosting. Companies more selectively called (Small operations) wont survive with insanely low prices, means they are overselling, and will not last long in this market. It's good to find a happy medium. Keep in mind companies that charge too low will have a lot of traffic but how will they pay their bills? If they aren't happy what makes them want to provide decent support?

Why not try a server with us, for $15.47 (Use the coupon: MerryXMAS for 50% off) and visit the client portal and join our affiliate program which rewards you 10% for each customer you get to join us (This 10% is for every month they're active with us) this is the cheapest way to get a reliable high-quality server.

Because I know how to run complex Internet Checks such as identifying a broadband provider based on an IP Address, Geo Location, Bandwidth Performance and Latency Monitoring over 100 packets.
A 5MB Upload / 30MB Download is a common ADSL2+ home connection speed, fibre-optics / cable would offer far lower latency and usually higher speeds than this.
You won't be able to find a better price because what you're getting is some space on a kid's connection, I'd place a bet it's his desktop PC / Laptop as well.
Ok. Well he didn't provide FTP, so I'm not going to use his thing. Yup, cheesy.
