Using mc-edit I flipped the house around and solved my problem of having so much space that i don't know what to do with. Now it just has a long hallway as well as an attic for me to add enchanting station, kitchen, and other areas

    original idea (Too big)

    Finished project (Much smaller)

a typical house i'd normally live in. Any little hut carved into a hill or mountain. House only goes back like 15 blocks

yeah sorry about that, it is in a survival world that i converted to creative and have pumpkins everywhere as lighting and placeholders for lamps, because i hate seeing torches scattered every 11 blocks on the flat ground

    edit: fixed pumpkin

This is my first time building a house outside the dimensions of 10 by 10. I am building this more for aesthetics than functionality. All the other houses that i've used have been mainly square and full of sorted chests. This is a work in progress as I constantly change ideas and move items around to get a good flow and look. Any tips or ideas for interior would be appreciated

    House

    Patio

    Kitchen

    Enterance

Edit: Upstairs has nothing as i haven't gotten around to it and the house isn't fully constructed.

Looking for a server to play with people, tired of running around mindlessly and not helping people gather resources or build. New snapshots look fun. Just looking for some other minecraft enthusiasts. 20 year old who plays to unwind from work.

i like inventory tweaks, like the idea to be able to move a full inventory of cobble into a chest without a lot of clicking. I also like the auto sort.

loving the downgrade feature! Never really saved older files till 1.1 and it's fun to replay the minecraft I started with. Other than that, thanks for keeping multimc going :Diamond: for you

Pretty cool especially since Mushroom Islands are rare and here you have one so close to spawn

seed -932959756 spawns you in a taiga walk ~50 blocks in the -z direction and you will arrive at another mushroom island close near spawn. Attached to the islands is a jungle biome which has a temple also close by

i am liking the updates, but id prefer so see some more building blocks come out in the near future, always wood, stone and wool blended houses. cool that they're implementing decor type items to fill homes. I am just waiting on more building blocks like marble or another block to build with.

yea, i never knew reeds could stack indefinitely tall, and figured fully submerged they'd wash away and only could stack like 5-6 tall max. The amount of reeds you have get out of hand pretty quick

i like to carry some melon slices and get the hunger bar to four hunger points from full before i eat the steak or pork chop. That way there is no chance of over eating and i usually am watching my hunger bar pretty close so i don't have to eat a melon slice on top of the steak.

I was replanting some reeds along my base's shore and noticed reeds don't get washed away, so if you build dirt platforms every 4 layers and have reeds grow to take away the source blocks when they grow. Might be a good idea since you can mass grow reeds.

According to the wiki reeds don't have a light lvl required and apparently you can stack them indefinitely, so start at the bottom of the ocean and start stacking them to the surface, great if you don't want to deal with the dirt layers. Just build a farm and stack the surplus instead of having the farm in the ocean. Another bonus is knock the bottom row out and have the reeds come down so it will be better than burning leaves and shouldn't lag as much from mass fires. The other plus is you don't lose the reeds so you can trade them out for emeralds when done. As for the required water source to have the reeds not pop out of the ground, If you use a bucket the one wide water columns and they should drain. the water columns also double as water ladders when stacking the reeds.
