When I destroy a concrete block it drops a world anchor, not a concrete block. Also, my server keeps spamming this -

I keep getting a crash. I think it is because of crafthide though. Is it compatible with MC 1.2.3?
Same here, I'm thinking it doesn't work with 1.2.3, which is unfortunate for anyone with redpower or EE

for your consideration, another redpower melon machine :smile.gif:
fully automatic :smile.gif: harvests melons as soon as they grow.
Nice melon farm, simple too. I made a modular thermopile design using the same concept.
The snow deployers are slightly different, but its the same idea.
Jan 28, 2012iNFiNiTeX7 posted a message on [1.5 and up] [FORGE] [UNIVERSAL]IronChests 5.0 - Minecraft 1.5 update!Thank you, this mod should of been independent from the start. Nice additions, finally have a use for silver. Looking forward to SMP support.Posted in: Minecraft Mods

Hey, I just updated to 1.1.0 and redpower 4d but now I can't use rightclick on any of the redpower stuff on my SMP server. It works fine in single player and there are no errors when I rightclick on things on either the server or the client. What's wrong as I'm out of ideas on how to find the problem (server is windows and I tried both linux and windows clients)
It sounds like you need this.
You probably messed up your forge installation by incorrect order or using outdated hotfixes. I had issues with liquids, saws, and IC2 stuff, this fixes it.
Jan 22, 2012This is what happens when people don't respect a few simple wishes of someone who has given us so much already. I am deeply upset about this, but I understand why it is being done.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Ungrateful a**holes, you know who you are. Thanks for ruining the fun for hundreds of people.
Eloraam, I do hope that these jerks didn't get to you too much. You have put so much time and careful thought into Redpower, I just wish some people here were a little more respectful. I respect your wishes and will patiently wait for 2.0.0 as much as it pains me. Redpower has become part of minecraft for me, and it simply would not be any fun to me without it. It is by far the best mod which adds content currently, and anyone who disagrees have not used enough mods yet.
Keep your spirits up, as there are still lots of people who feel the same way I do!

What needs to "stop" is people like you telling others how they "should" play the game.
I fail to see where I told anybody how to play a game. I simply stated that the mod is unfinished, and your resource problems are a direct result of something unrelated to redpower. When the mod becomes more developed maybe you will get your wish for configurable spawn rates, maybe not, I don't know. What I do know is this is getting annoying to say the least.

Well, maybe I still wouldn't - because I have a Diamond Drill from IC2. Are you going to say I should stop using that, too?
"Maybe" what I don't need is a chest full of resources I can "maybe" use later. Or "maybe" I don't need your snide attempt to judge how RP plays with other Forge mods.
If I was able to find this much in three weeks, I'm sure I can find more if and when there becomes a practical use for it.
IC2 power tools are dull and boring, and they can't be enchanted either (to my knowledge anyway). I have IC2 installed and I prefer to use gem tools over them because it is more enjoyable for me.
IC2 is often used with redpower yes, but just because it is often used doesn't mean Eloraam should change something in her mod because another mod has "superior tools" You're also forgetting that this mod is not finished, and Eloraam probably has better tools planned for the future. Someone who spends much time on this forum as you should already know these things and should really stop. Maybe the spawn ratio for gems is not perfect, but don't expect her to change it because you have better tools from other mods.
Jan 18, 2012Forgive me if this has already been added (I see no changelog) but do you plan on supporting enchanting anytime soon? I know you mentioned something about it weeks ago and then it kinda vanished. Your mod is cool and all, but a properly enchanted diamond pickaxe seems more useful then any tool combination I can come up with.Posted in: Minecraft Mods

Yes its a vanilla glitch, it doesn't really stand out in vanilla though, if you walk on a blinking repeater, sitting on a block with at least 2 spaces of air below it, you will fall through. (it happens with any block smaller or larger then half of a full block, remember the SMP fence glitch that was fixed in 1.6.6, it was this bug)
I remember that fence bug. I too wish the animation for walking up microstairs would be smoother, but if its a minecraft bug I guess theres not much Elo can do about it. Oddly enough however, that fence bug you speak of sometimes happens to me on RP tubes and BC pipes, (you get clipped into the tube/pipe and you have to slowly force yourself of it or relog) maybe it was not fully fixed?

I was justing looking around the forums and Chickenbone's ender chest mod is exactly like networked chests! http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/188343-v100networked-chests-mod-version-20ssp/ And newtorked chests came out way before ender chest did!
Except its not smp and it overwrites base classes, so who cares?

It's actually called the Thermopile, and uses the thermoelectric effect. But yes, same idea :smile.gif:
Oooo, more blutricity stuff! Does it require a source block?
Cool idea, its nice to see things that have little complexity to them.

Don't get me too wrong here -- I do like marble.
But the quantities are very high, or rather too high, especially because "hilltop castle" means "mountains and lava pools". I'm literally swimming in the stuff. If I set up an actual quarry (I've got IC^2 and BC too), I'd even be drowning in it. I figure one outpost is the point where I say "hold, enough".
I used quarries to dig out a 336x336 zone and I plan to use every single block of marble I got from it. Hell, it doesn't even have a real use besides a building block yet and I could still use more. No, I'm not saying there should be more, or even that the ratio is perfect. Marble may not be for everyone, but there is no logical reason to make any real change to its generation just because its stockpiling in your inventory. Some of us actually like seeing the world not being 95% stone. If you don't know where to use it or you simply don't like it, then toss it and go on with your game. Maybe then you'll actually find some useful criticism when you stop nitpicking at miniscule things that really don't matter or have already been discussed. As many have said before me, this mod is in heavy development and it still has a long way to go, many things will change. Yeah, this is the time to provide feedback so the mod can become better, but do so without infringing on the vision of the creator.
All of this drama nonsense needs to stop, and the rubber tree and volcanoes discussion goes absolutely nowhere and is probably why this thread isn't half as active as it was a month ago. Volcanoes are awesome, and rubber trees are as well; sure they have their problems, but Eloraam is well aware of them. Minecraft has little variation in the landscape, and its trees are small and boring. If you don't like the trees, go find another biome, its quite simple. I still can't think of any logical reason why anyone would want volcanoes removed, its quite mind boggling. Your computer lags you say? Throw it in the trash and get a job so you can buy a new one, this is 2012.
Alternatively you could just stop using redpower or wait for it to be finished. If you like mods however, redpower is at the top of the list based on what I've seen, and I use ALOT of mods.
