I will be buying the parts on black friday. Any opinions? It was the first computer I built using the stuff i learned and everything my friend recommended me to do. Its around my budget (a bit higher) and I thought it couldnt get any better for what it is

Yes they're compatible, I'm not sure they'll fit though (Not 100% but looking at how chunky the case is, I'd say so).

    However,

If you plan to game at all on that thing you're gonna have a bad time.

2GB of DDR2 RAM & Powercolour are known to have really bad cooling on their GPU's so be careful.

    If I was you, I wouldn't bother.

I am upgrading the ram to 4gb as stated. I would get more of it supported by it doesn't

I'm gonna say the Dell is better, just because I've had better experience with Dell monitors.

    The ram is definitely needed.

    How much ram is needed?

Actually yours is pretty good, since it's IPS, which I didn't notice.

Which one would you recommend? I'm probably gonna get the power supply, the graphics card, and. It sure on ram yet

    Oh ok

If you don't want to spend a lot of money, thats what I would do. A good screen is this: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/acer-monitor-umfg6aaa01

Is there any ddifference with the one I picked?

500 is honestly overkill now that I think about it. Is there any way I can keep it around 350 ish? I'm most likely getting that screen too. It's Windows xp but I can upgrade right? (Sorry mac boy here)

    Well, here's the thing.
    You're PC is pretty outdated.
The CPU isn't awful, but its pretty low end to todays standards.
    I would upgrade this:

Video Card: PowerColor Radeon R7 260X 1GB TurboDuo Video Card ($97.98 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: EVGA 430W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply ($30.99 @ Newegg)
    Total: $128.97
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
    Generated by PCPartPicker 2014-11-08 20:44 EST-0500

Then I would upgrade your ram to this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/4GB-Kit-2x2GB-PC2-6400-800-DDR2-Non-ECC-240-Pin-By-SAMSUNG-Dual-Channel-/191406383413?pt=US_Memory_RAM_&hash=item2c90b5a135

You are really helpful thank you <3 I have a budget of around 400-500 with the monitor. I don't wanna go over because my dad is paying and it's like a Christmas gift somewhat.
