Try to contact Gilguy by using steam.,.. That's the only place you can find him now. His username is Uncivil_Engineering and he is probably online.

It's actually Uncivil Engineer now. I have him on steam. Hey there it's Spontaneous, commonly 3rd in command behind tom and Gil. First person to join the clan, just after Gil posted it in Green Labs. I kind of drifted away from pirates since the AoM incident. I pledged to join any clan an0 would host for, and he made his own here.

The Ventrilo server is back up and looks fancy. I think it has more rooms than the max people that can be in the server.

Please use search before posting to avoid reposting ideas. This idea has been suggested many times, and is considered to lag the game too much if it were to render the world in front of it in the mirror.

    Nice!

Also one idea - is it able to make logic gate that after one button push output is on, and after second is off?

If it were to toggle between off and on, that would be a T Flip-Flop. If it were to only do that once, and have to be reset, then you would have to make a with only 2 RS NORs and connect them both to an IMPLIES gate.

Hello my name is huynhy, and my in game name is Spontaneous. I have been playing minecraft since last September. I enjoy boat elevators (sadly much more difficult to make), water elevators (Patched), and redstone. When I use redstone, I prefer making contraptions that are useful to the average minecrafter in an SMP server, such as locks and alarm systems. Redstone computers and calculators are cool, but they aren't useful. I take pride in efficiency, both in space and resources, and I think this combo lock reflects that. This is quoted from the Green Labs thread. Here's the link to the post itself.

Alright here's some redstone talk to liven up the thread.

This here is the compacted order sensitive button combination lock that does reset when pressed in the wrong order. It is repeatable in a pattern, allowing for as many buttons in the combination as needed. Only 3 tall and 13 long. Width varies.
Red: 2x3 Compact RS NOR Latches
Orange: Links between them that only allow them to be activated in sequence. Also compact.
Pink: IMPLIES gates to reset the combo when the wrong order is pressed. They only reset when both: The button is pressed and the RS NOR preceding that which is being attempted to be powered is unpowered.
Yellow: Bridges that link the buttons to the IMPLIES gates to reset when the combo is incorrectly inputted.

This is only the machinery. If you were to make a combination, you would have to make the wires power the RS NORs in the order right to left. Any buttons not used in the combination are simply linked to the reset of the first RS NOR. The final torch on the left side of the system is the final output.

I am a mod in the server in my signature, and I have used this lock to protect our Nether control room as well as my companies vault. I would like to join the redstone division, not to build computers as most redstoners do, but to find useful, compact, and efficient designs for an everyday minecrafter.

posted a message on My idea to make redstone circuits a little easier
Try making posts when you aren't as tipsy. Redstone torches are the only thing that can invert power, and the basic inversion of a current is the basis of all NOR based circuitry. Repeaters already serve the exact same purpose with customizable delay.
