Do you have experience building with medieval settings?: Yes, its what I'm most familiar with when it comes to building.

Character Name: Sir Erik Castillon, Captain of the Guard and Protector of Carm.

Character Race, Age & Class: Carmi, 37, Heavy-Specialist

    Description of Character:

Sir Erik is the descendant of a line of military commanders of House Castillon. House Castillon are natives to Carm and have alway been devoted to its protection and strength. Sir Erik had always wished to follow in the footsteps of his forefathers as the sworn protector of Carm. He spent his childhood learning the ways of a knight, chivalry and honorable combat. After the death of his father, (When Erik was 30), Erik stepped up to his duty as Captain of the Guard and Protector of Carm, a title important to the welfare of the city. Now, 7 years on, the city faces a new threat, one that Erik has not been trained to deal with. How will he protect the city from the plague which sweeps across the world? The Chancellor has order citizens to stay within the city walls, but will that be enough to save the city?

    What is powergaming? Metagaming?:

Powergaming is forcing action upon other players through emoting. For example; *Erik draws his swords and slits the man's throat before he can even move, killing him instantly* rather than, *Erik draws his sword and attempts to slash at the man's neck* whichs gives the other player to respond.

Metagaming is using knowledge or information know to the player OOC, IC to benefit his/her character, for example if someone's character runs away whenever they see a certain player, because they know OOC that the playerthey are avoiding is a thief IC.

Great job! That was exactly what I wanted to see. Welcome to The Wayward Ones by Silver Gaming! Visit our site at http://silvergaming.enjin.com for news, updates, IC Threads and more! Lookin' forward to seeing you at the launch April 19th 4 PM EST! You can google the timezones if you live in a different area.

    Deferred:

    HellCrow147/CreepyCreeper148:

While the app was great in almost every sense of the word, you got a lore question wrong.

    - Re-read the part about Vaerdezzio and what it became when it seceded from the Empiracle. I promise you, Vaerdezzio is not a living organism.

That should be a quick fix; I assume you just misread somewhere along the lore. Just correct that, and you'll be golden! :)

    Deathburrito24:

The application was solid, but there are a few concerns I have.

    - We can't allow you to have armour on your skin and let you roleplay as if you had armour, because that is somewhat powergame-y. Try to find a different skin for your character.

    - I don't understand why his character would bring so much of his past equipment if he wanted to get blood of his hands. It kind of contradicts his reasoning to escape to Roland's Field.

    - Could you list your character's real name? We can let you use the nickname, but I'd still prefer if he had a real name, since I don't think he'd just forget his name just because someone started calling him Titan.

    - Titan is incredibly OP. Some of your character's weaknesses are more personality traits than flaws. He needs real, physical detriments that will give him some sort of disadvantage in battle. Try not list something like, 'He can't shoot or dodge arrows' because dodging arrows are very difficult if shot correctly, and you couldn't use a bow anyways.

You'll be perfect after you fix those up! Contact me via Skype or through the PM here on the forums if you have any questions. Good luck! :)

    Xerius/lionlord123:

It was a very good application, but there's just a couple things that worry me.

    - Your character doesn't seem to have true flaws. Most of them are just personality traits, and won't leave you in a big disadvantage during combat or adversity. Give him some physical and mental flaws that would bring him down during situations to balance out your otherwise OP character.

    - Perhaps just a little bit more detail on some of your ICRs? It seems like they just abruptly end, and I can't get a big sense of how you roleplay, or your character's personality.

Fix those up and you'll be good to go! Contact me via Skype or PM if you have any questions. Good luck! :)

    Double-Deferred:

    BriWolf2/MrBriWolf:

Let me explain this to you, Bri. You cannot start off as a priest of any other religious figure, because the staff has unanimously agreed that you wouldn't be allowed. Now, let's get started on your other mistakes.

    - You have no screenshot.

    - One of your character's classes is Berserker. He has no reason to be this class, because he has nothing to back it up other than his 'broad shoulders'. That won't cut it.

    - Your biography is written in first person. We don't usually allow this unless it is done in a very creative fashion, because we usually want you to tell his story from a narrator.

    - Your character, despite the lengthy biography, is still pretty shallow. You basically skipped through the first fifteen years of his life, hardly touching his childhood. It left me pretty confused as to why your character ran away when his brother attempted to murder a *****. I have no clue if he loves his brother, if he's cowardly, or anything. After that, you basically just said 'he worked to become a priest'.

    - Your character needs to be balanced; some of these don't hold to much, as they aren't explained at all. He also cannot hold his temper at times. This is a perfect example. It came off to me that Floriano was always calm and collected. Even so, EVERYONE loses their tempers at times. He also had epilepsy, having partial seizures his entire life, and you decided to leave that out of the biography. Something like that is kind of important to mention in a person's life story.

    - This isn't a big mistake, but it's spelled Ombrian and Robert Ewarding.

Fix those up and you'll be solid. Good luck, this is your second and last chance. :)

Thank you so much! Im really looking forward to it :)

Biography (Minimum 300 words. No clichés such as loved one being killed by robbers or the like.):

Krag was the third son of a farmer and his wife. They were as poor as any, their farm produced limited food and with five mouths to feed, life was difficult for young Krag. He and his brothers often fought, over food, over clothes, over work, over girls, they fought over anything. His oldest brother, the fittest, strongest and most loved by his father of his brothers, abandon the family when he turned 18, to leave on a voyage across the sea. He would never return. The Salvius family farm was seriously impacted by his absence, the father, who was now too old to work, spent most of his days drinking and sleeping, becoming ever more lifeless as time went on. This led Krag, aged only 14 and his older brother to work the farm alone. When Krag was 16, other brother left, the family as well. Krag now worked the farm alone, tirelessly, while his mother cooked and his father drank. This constant working caused Krag to grow strong, far stronger than either of his brothers. At the age of 18, Krags home caught fire in the night, quickly burning to the ground. Krag was seriously burnt in the fire, the left half of his body was permanently damaged by the blaze, blinding his left eye and burning off his left ear. His left arm lost feeling and had limited mobility, nerve damage in his knee gave him a permanent limp . The loss of his house, the abandonment of his brothers and his drunkard father caused a deep depressing pain inside of Krag, he became very withdrawn and lonely. Krag made a vow to himself, that he would build his family a new house, he would not abandon his parents with nothing, as his brothers had done. He no longer worked the farm, instead he fell nearby trees, he hauled them down the hill to the mill, and hauled the planks back up the hill. One day he was unfortunate enough to obtain a large wound, caused by a branch of a falling tree. This is how he obtained the large scar leading from his neck to his chest. He worked on that house for 3 years, until he turned 21 and was finally finished. The new house was far smaller than his original, but he was proud of his effort, as was his mother. His father, did not care, he had fallen into a constant drunken mess, often sitting, staring into at the wall, expressionless. It was at this age that Krag decided to leave. He could not go back to the constant working of the farm, he could not look at his father, changed by the events of the past decade. Krag left weakened and poor, but he was still strong. He walked far, staying at taverns finding work at local mills, using his skill with the axe to fell the largest of trees. Krag travelled from town to town, living in taverns, finding work at the local mills. When he was 26, he was cutting down a tree by the a river, for the local miller, he had an encounter with a fierce pack of wolves. He heard the sound of loud howls, coming from up the hill, then the sound of rustling, coming from the bushes, not far from where he was standing. Then he saw it, the blazing eyes of a great wolf, staring into his soul. The wolf emerged from the bushes into the clearing, followed by the rest of the pack. Krag began to panic, he only had this rusty axe to defend himself with, and, with a bad limp, was doomed to these wolves. He lifted his axe and dropped his crutch. He wouldn't go down with out a fight. The wolves, five of them in total, slowly approached him, growling as they came. Then one of the wildly sprinted towards him, and took a large leap straight towards him. Krag swung his axe at the beast, as hard as he could manage, and it buried right inside the wolf's neck. The weight of the wolf falling onto him knocked him to the ground. Krag tried to stand and recover his axe, but he found it was wedged deep inside the wolf's throat. Now unarmed, Krag stood next to the tree that he was cutting, sweating hard and panting, fearing his death was right before him. Then he heard creaking coming from the tree. It was beginning to fall. The rest of the wolves began charging towards him. Quickly he ran to the back of the tree, pushing against it with all his might, and it fell. The tree came down hard and fast, to the great surprise of the wolves, standing directly under it. 2 of the wolves were crushed by the tree, another injured, limping away. There remained one last wolf, who was as furious as ever. It growled and stared straight at Krag, who was now leaning against another tree, the wolf stared into his eyes, and he stared into its. The wolf approached to make the final kill, but was stopped. An arrow had landed right through the wolf's head. Krag looked around, trying to find the shooter, but saw no one. "Whose there!" he yelled, but no one answered. Krag stood, and made his walked over to the body of the wolf. He pulled out the arrow, and wiped off the blood on his shirt. To his surprise, it was very fine arrow, the finest he had ever seen. The arrowhead was golden, and shaped into an intricate design, the stick was white, with runes engraved along it, its cream feathers were perfectly cut. For the rest of his days, the shooter of the golden arrow would remain a mystery to Krag. Krag made his way back to the tavern, stopping in at the alchemist on his way, but he would not sleep that night, he was in shock, and given a permanent fear of wolves. When he was 30, Krag had an incident with two thieves. After a long day at work, he returned to his room at a tavern to find 2 young boys, no older than 15, rummaging through his belongings, one of them was holding his beloved golden arrow. Krag was enraged and grabbed the two boys by the collars. He threw one of them aside and grabbed the one who took his arrow in both arms. "Don't you e'er be takin' me things again!" He grabbed the boy around the neck until he dropped his arrow on the floor. He shoved the boy aside and the two of them fled the building. Krag took his arrow and returned to his room, growling with anger. About half an hour later, a guard burst into his room, the two boys stood beside him, giggling. "These lads tell me t'at you been attackin' 'em, is dat right?" The guard yelled at him. "They were stealing me things!" replied Krag. "Are you tellin' me, that me own son, lied te me?". Krag went silent. "You 'ave the rest of t'e hour to be gone from this town, and yer best be not returnin'!" the guard yelled at Krag, and slammed door behind him as he left the room. Krag grabbed his belongings, and stuffed them in his bag, slung his axe over his back, threw a coin purse to the innkeeper on his way out, and stormed out of the town, grumbling to himself all the way. "Bloodeh kids". At the age of 35, he enter a large, bustling town. There were many busy people on the street, he entered the market district, he was looking for a gold exchanger because he wanted to know exactly how much his arrow was worth. There were many people crowded around the market stalls, merchants yelling out deals, trying to make a profit. In a quite corner of the market square, he found an old man with a small stall, gold and silver items lying on the table and hanging down from the canopy. He approached this man and showed him the golden arrow. "W-where did you get this?" asked the old man, bewildered by what was laid before him. "Just tell me what its worth" said Krag. "Oh its worth a great deal" said the old man, "a great deal". Krag was suspicious of the man, he was pulling the arrow closer. Krag snatched the arrow back up. "Well, that will be all.." he turned, and looked around. He saw a large retinue of guards and servants, surrounding two rich men, walking down past him. They stopped. One of the rich men appeared to be the lord of the town, the other, Krag instantly recognized. It was his second older brother. His brother and the lord shaked hands, the lord handing him a large coin purse. Then the two parted ways, the lord made his way back up the way they came, his brother walked towards the town entrance and stables. Krag was astonished at what had became of his brother. He was obviously some sort of successful tradesman, and Krag, was nothing more than a troubled old woodsman. One day, whilst staying at a Tavern near Roland's Field, two guards entered the building to make an announcement. All of the men in the room took took attention. They spoke of an expedition to the Western lands, and they were looking for able men willing to join them. Krag saw this as an opportunity to make a real life for himself, to settle down at a home he could call his own, to make some real gold and an end to the bad situations he had been in, in the past. He decided to join this expedition.

What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation): Krag is motivated by the opportunity of starting a new life in a new land, he hopes to have a proper home, rather than constantly moving.

Strengths (Both physical and personality): Krag's most obvious strengths are his muscular physique and his skills with an axe. Krag does not fear a fight, living in taverns for a long amount of time means he has seen and been in a fair share of bar fights and brawls.

Weaknesses (Balance out yours character's strengths with suitable weaknesses. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness. I.E. Not knowing how to use a bow as a miner. Krag's biggest weakness is the injuries obtained by the fire. He cannot see through his left eye, or hear through his left ear, leaving him more uncoordinated, along with his weak left arm. He walks slowly, with a crutch, he struggles with going up stairs. Krag is very quiet and reserved in conversation. He only speaks when he must and is highly aggressive towards those who threaten him, or look at him the wrong way. Krag is not very likable and has made many enemies during his travels, he can tend to over react to things people do or say, making him a very aggressive character. Fears wolves.

In-Character-Responses (ICRs. For each scenario, write at least a paragraph describing entirely in-character how your character would respond to the situation. Your ICRs will be used to see how well you can RP. Please post them as if in IC chat. An example can be found after this form.)

Due a recent accident, you wander the dark quiet streets of the town with a broken ankle trying to make your way home:
Krag stubbles out of the building and onto the street. It is dark out and he has only the the moonlight to guide him. He makes his way down the road, leaning against the wall of the building to keep him upright. His ankle is in great pain. He finds a large stick at the side of the road to use as a crutch, but it breaks under his weight. Krag falls to the ground and grumbles. He sees the light from the tavern and uses it to navigate his way to the main road, he knows he can find an alchemist's there. Krag finally makes his way to the main road and spots the alchemists, across from the Tavern. He limps down the road towards it. He can hear laughter in the street, two drunkards stand laughing and talking outside the Tavern, they spot him as he limps past. "Something up with yer leg oi mate!" yells one of them across the street, the other one laughing. Krag ignores them and makes his way to the door of the Alchemist's. He stumbles in heavily, to the surprise of the Alchemist. "Oh, um, is there something I can help you with at this late hour?" The alchemist asks. He is a small man, who is obviously nervous of Krag presence. "Broken ankle" Krag replies. "Oh, very well, I'll fetch you something to ease the pain." The alchemist leaves, returning with a small vial of a purple substance. "Take this, 5 coins thank you". Krag takes the vial and quickly gulps down the liquid. He hands a small coin purse to the Alchemist and leaves the store. Krag straightens and makes his way across the street back to the tavern, the two drunken men laughing as he went.

In a tavern, a stranger threatens you to fight him/her:
Krag walks into the tavern, his axe slung over his back. He receives some stern stares as he enters the quiet room. In the corner sit two men, both dressed in black, they face each other, talking quietly, one of them looks up at Krag, the other turns to look as well. Krag takes notice of this, but makes no reaction, yet. He approaches the desk of the Innkeeper, who is faced away, reading. Krag makes a large thud on the desk with his fist, startling the Innkeeper. "What do yer want?" Says the Innkeeper, angrily. "A room, for the night" replies Krag. He hears the scraping of chairs on the floor, coming from the corner of the room. "20 Silvers" says the Innkeeper. Krag notices the Innkeeper look at something, behind him and a figure in black in the reflection of his eyes, then the shine of a shiny object. Krag quickly turns and grabs the raised arm of the man in black behind him. The man drops the knife he was holding. Krag lifts up the man and tackles him into one of the tables. The man's friend draws his sword and approaches slowly. Krag stands and lifts the axe from his back. The man runs at him and Krag swings. He buried that axe so deep in his skull, they had to bury him with it.

Your superior asks for a favour you would have problem doing:

"Oi, I a've 'eard some bad reports 'bout you, get out o' 'ere before I make yer" Shouted the Guard at Krag as he tried to enter the town.
"Why?" said Krag, he moves forward.
"Im warnin' ya, leave, now" said the guard
"I need a place to spend the night". replied Krag.
"Well yer'll be find 'innit somewhere else, away with yer!" shouted the guard, placing his hand on the hilt of his sword. More guards approach and Krag looks up the towns wall to find two archers staring down at him. Krag grumbles and turns around, defeated.

Krag is not very likable and has made many enemies during his travels, he can tend to over react to things people do or say, making him a very aggressive character.

    Class: Berserker/Woodsman

Screen capture of your skin: http://www.minecraftskins.com/skin/3876157/lumberjack/
-I have edited this skin to have dark long hair, as stated in my character description.

Thankfully, Krag and his parent escaped the blaze unharmed. He led this life of constant traveling for 17 years until he heard of the expedition to the western lands. Hoping to start a new life in a new land, he decided to join this expedition.

What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation): Krag is motivated by the opportunity of starting a new life in a new land, he hopes to have a proper home, rather than constantly moving.

Strengths (Both physical and personality): Krag's most obvious strengths are his muscular physique and his skills with an axe, both for tree chopping, and with fighting. Krags does not fear a fight, living in taverns for a long amount of time means he has seen and been in a fair share of bar fights and brawls.

Weaknesses (Balance out yours character's strengths with suitable weaknesses. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness. I.E. Not knowing how to use a bow as a miner.): Krag is very quiet and reserved in conversation. He only speaks when he must and is highly aggressive towards those who threaten him, or look at him the wrong way. Krag is not very likable and has made many enemies during his travels, he can tend to over react to things people do or say, making him a very aggressive character.

    Character Name: Konrad Stonestricker
    Race: Dwarf
    Height/Age: 145cm/41
    Backstory:

Konrad is the son of a high ranking soldier, whom he learnt the ways of battle and the strict Dwarven Code of Honor from. His family were very proud and of high honor. Some would say their pride has lead to great arrogance. Konrad started his military career as little more than a Guard at the age of 20. After his skills were recognized by his superiors, and the pressure of his father, Konrad advanced apron the ranks to a General, to the delight of his now retired and highly honored father. Konrad is very strict apon the younger and lower ranking Soldiers and does his utmost to keep them in order, following the Dwarven Code of Honor to the finest. This pride has meant that the Soldiers have a certain degree of resentment to him, but are proud to fight along side him.
