Just a 150 dollar monitor ( I do not need the sooper-dooper expensive ones) with a keyboard of 50 dollars then. My budget is now 800 USD.

I assumed your budget was 1100 since u said 1k give or take 100. Do you want a specific type of keyboard, or can it just be a cheap, reliable $20 one?

The only peripherals I have is a mouse.

No possible way you can get a monitor? That's gonna take at least $150 away from other parts depending on how big of a monitor you want.

    Quote from mattsenzo

You need to put the port forwarding in the Port Range Forwarding. Not Single Port Forwarding

I have the same Linksys/Cysco router layout.

EDIT: or your computer IP changed and is no longer 192.168.1.130

This. You're forwarding the port in the wrong place...also, his computer's IP on the network was 192.168.1.136, but OP, re-run ipconfig in command prompt and double check the IPv4 address.

Budget please (that way we could get you a parts list). If you actually want to know what to get, look for the following:
    • Depending on your budget, dual or quad core processor. Any more cores for gaming is useless, but if you do professional video rendering etc then you might have an excuse for more cores.
    • 8GB of RAM is plenty for just gaming, 16GB is if you're going intense rendering or using something like Adobe AE.
    • Only get an SSD if you fit into these categories: Can't be bothered to wait a bit longer to boot up/load a level or Use a program that is very read/write speed dependent (I can't think of any such program though).
    • For a graphics card to run BF3 or Crysis 2, it depends on your budget. Some good cards are the 7850, 560ti, 7970, 670, 680 and plenty more (but again, this choice is budget dependent).
PRO TIP: Never skimp on the power supply.

So where in Teamspeak do I go to talk to people in the clan?

    Minecraft Name: hiloser12221

Age: (13 is the minimum) 15

Do you have Teamspeak: No, I have Mumble and Skype, but if Teamspeak is the preferred chatting method
for this clan, I'll gladly download it.

Time Zone: EST (Not sure what that is in GMT)

    Previous clans: None.

Why do you want to join us?: Well first off, your OP is very well organized, it isn't a shamble of stuff then
an application thrown in somewhere. Second, I like that your clan has different ranking systems for the civilians
and military. I also like that your clan isn't just PVP oriented and you have a strong urge to build and better
your city on your server. The political system also seemed very interesting and I'd love to be a part of that.

Name 2 clan values listed in the first post: 2 clan values as described in the Guidelines section are
    loyalty and respect.

A Paragraph about yourself: Well, I'm going into my sophomore year in high school in a few weeks so I still
have a good deal of free time. During the school year I won't be as active as I run cross country and go to
the school gym daily. Personality wise, I am funny, hard working and eager to impress people. I play good
in a team, but I am also able to function lone wolf style should the need arise (say if I'm the only one
sent to spy on an enemy). I enjoy playing Minecraft and many other video games and I consider myself quite
    good at them.

Do you prefer to build, collect, or fight?: I love building military styled buildings a lot; walls, castles
and towers are my forte. Collecting gets tedious and while I enjoy fighting, I'm not the best fighter.

Do you want to join our military?: I'd much rather prefer to be a politician/builder.

Strengths: I am good at building medieval styled buildings such as towers, walls and castles (plus other
misc buildings). If we ever have the required resource, I have a very good wall design that makes it quite
hard to penetrate. I'm also good at interior decorating. If I do have to serve in the military, I am actually
quite good at planning things so I would be of use in the tactical department.

Weaknesses: I can really only build medieval styled buildings or buildings that don't really have a style.
I'm pretty bad at making things like cathedrals though and my modern styled buildings are pretty bad. I
will say that I can get pretty competitive (but usually only in Halo, that game brings the worst of my
competitiveness out). Luckily Minecraft isn't a super competitive game. I'm not the best fighter, as unless
I have the armor and weapon advantage over the opponent, I usually lose.

posted a message on Monitor DVI Help
    Quote from ratail2

So I recently got my new computer with a new monitor as well, but when I tried to hook up the monitor to the cpu I found that my video card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 1.2GB 16X PCIe Video Card MSI Twin Frozr II OC 750 Mhz) had a different dvi hook-up. I believe the cpu has a dvi-i dual link and my monitor has a dvi-d single link.
My cpu also has what a think is called a mini display and my monitor has hdmi along with vba hookups.

Anyone that knows a solution would be great if you shared.

    Ratail2

IIRC, all DVI cables are compatible with each other, you just wont get the features if the cable and connections don't match up.

You did not "destroy" $130 of your bank account. Second, why the heck were you taking money from a college fund, do you not have a savings account or something? College funds are meant to be untouched until you get to college, I'm surprised your parents didn't stop you from doing this.

You don't have to replenish that $130, you spent it on things you deemed necessary. Until anyone gets a job, they shouldn't really worry about replenishing their bank account.

How desperate are you to get this money? I have some ways that I'd be willing to share over Skype if you really need it.

Yeah, I'm not clicking that link. Post the actual image here - use a service like "tinypic" if you have to.

gyazo links are created when a person uses the gyazo screen capturing utility...it just uploads the image to their servers. Nothing malicious.

    Quote from Cue

Okay, compare any Unreal Engine 2 game to an Unreal Engine 3 game. My point is that you can't say "It uses the same engine" as a fault to Call of Duty. It's the aesthetic design that matters, not what engine it's running.

While that may be true, not only does Call of Duty use the same engine (COD 4, MW2 and MW3 were all on the same engine) but there is no variation in aesthetic design. Same engine, just slightly more detailed models/textures.

Anyone else hate how the newer classes such as CommandBase, CommandGive etc have annoying function names like func_71526_a. I mean, how the heck is someone supposed to know what that does? Especially when it references ICommandAnythinghereETC and those interfaces have methods that are func_somenumbers_aletter, I mean it's just a slap in the face to the modding community in my opinion.
