So yeah, I have a little home/base/mine that I've carved out and almost every day, a creeper, zombie, ender man, something will spawn in there while I am outside gathering wood or slaughtering cattle or some other outdoor activity. It seems to be happening as the other mobs are spawning outside for the night but I'm not sure. Most of my days are spent outside and away doing various outdoor tasks and I return just as night is setting in and mobs are spawning outside. I don't recall this ever happening before I updated to 1.0.0 so I'm wondering what's up. I do keep hearing some weird music, like there is a dungeon nearby but if it were a dungeon spawning them it should be only one type of mob spawning, not 3.
You can download it here: https://secure.logme...i/download.aspx You need to download the un-managed version. The network for it is "Other Minecraft Server" and the IP is 5.31.147.52
In your steam games library right click on Team Fortress 2 and click on "Properties" then click on "Set Launch Options". Type in "-dxlevel 8" "-dxlevel 7" or "-dxlevel 9". I had the same problem and this fixed it.
The thing I hate the most are biomes. At first they were all right because even in the same biome things would look different. but now the world isn't really all that random...now the same type of biome just looks exactly the same, so it feels like I'm playing on the same world. I miss how in alpha the world was completely random and mountains were actually cool. You don't really see the awesome land now formations like you used to before 1.8.
Beta users always got the full game for free, nub.

They spawn in the dark so it has to be well lit.
