Heydrix

I have a vanilla minecraft server but when minecraft updated to 1.5, I had to delete and reinstall the server.exe.
After that, whenever i tried to put on a custom world or MOTD it didn't work. It just gives a random survival world and says "A Minecraft Server" any help?

I love vanilla servers because you don't need restrictions and everything is simple and fun to do.
MC is my favourite game and I am a pretty good builder. I am pretty good with redstone as well. I would love this server and I go online a lot.

Do you have the steps? I would really like help with that, I have tried to make one before, but I never succeeded. By the way we could talk privately by like skype, email, youtube, etc.

Anyone forgetting dead bush? Or gravel? (except for flint) I find the most useless mobs are bats and silverfish.

Thanks for your response. Although it may sound cheap, I wouldn't like to spend money on a server because my friend has made one for free. I will see about the /spawnpoint command somewhere. If you have a server I would be happy to make a map with you, because it is a big job. Thanks anyway for your help!

Hey I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am hoping to make a puzzle/adventure superflat custom map for the forums, but I have a few problems. One main one is I would like to know how to set a different spawn for the player to start in. This is my first time mapmaking so I am really clueless, though I hope it doesn't require mods/plug-ins for a server which I don't have. This is single-player creative. If anyone knows how to solve my problem, please post a response below. Thanks!
