I'm having the same problem, but since I'm running the latest 1.11.2 forge, and it's beta, I assumed it was a problem with forge. But kamild1996's video is exactly what's happening to me.
From fml-client-latest.log:
[01:22:02] [main/INFO] [FML/]: Forge Mod Loader version 13.20.0.2206 for Minecraft 1.11.2 loading
[01:22:02] [main/INFO] [FML/]: Java is Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM, version 1.8.0_111, running on Linux:amd64:4.4.0-51-generic, installed at /usr/lib/jvm/java-8-oracle/jre
The intersections are InventoryTweaks, LunatriusCore and Optifine. And Scenter, of course. I disabled both InventoryTweaks and Optifine and the problem persisted.
I was just going to fly around. I am the server admin on this server.
I know this is not what this thread is about, but since you mentioned them I'm going to ask anyway. :]
I've searched for various terms related to "[bukkit|spigot] generate full world existing server" but all I get are either outdated plugins or pre-generation applications. If you can point me to plugins or apps that will take my existing world and generate everything, i would really appreciate it.
I've looked for a list of commands available to scripts for the minecraft console client and I'm not finding one. I'm sure I'm j ust missing something somewhere.
Is it possible to write a script that just has my character fly back and forth until the whole world has been generated and mapped?
Earlier versions of forge and minecraft are having this problem as well.
I'm using Scenter 3.3.0. It doesn't seem to matter whether I'm on a local or remote world. The type of remote world doesn't affect this problem either.
When scenting something, clay for example, I'll get anywhere from three to eight hits without any problem. Then the next hit will point to either empty air that never had anything there or to a previous hit that has already been mined.
If I move away until another hit is closer, the pointer will change, but it may not point to the next hit. It may point to another empty spot, even though I can see where the next hit is.
If I change the target object, the same thing happens. The pointer will work correctly for awhile, then will then become unreliable again. When I switch back to the original scented object, the pointer will point to the same invalid spots.
Interestingly, if I log off and back on, the incorrect spots are no longer remembered.
What should I look for in the logs to get more information? Anything else you need me to test or look for?

I'm positive the username-email and password is correct, I just relogged in through the launcher.
Is this something I can fix? Need any more info from me?
Oops. Sorry ... I'm new to maintaining a minecraft server. I'm just beginning to realize there are different server versions.
I do not have forge installed, unless it's part of Spigot. It doesn't look like it is. Also, doing a quick search doesn't seem to be showing any way of running both forge and spigot at the same time.
So, I'll need to limit my plugins to bukkit/spigot compatible plugins.
I'm using spigot (just now built it to make sure I'm running the latest) and hopperducts is not loading. Version info from latest.log:
This server is running CraftBukkit version git-Spigot-c8a0d06-58d972f (MC: 1.8.7) (Implementing API version 1.8.7-R0.1-SNAPSHOT)
The error message is

When I extract the hopperducts-mc1.8-1.4.5.jar file there is no plugins.yml file. But the posts here don't seem to be having this problem so I'm wondering if this plugin won't work with spigot for some reason.
Do I need to do anything special?
I've checked permissions and ownership. They are the same as other plugins in the plugins directory. There are no extended attributes on the jar file.
If this plugin is not supported on spigot, does anyone know of a duct plugin that is?

So I'm guessing this is a version mismatch.
