posted a message on Automatic subway style stop with multiple minecarts (SOLVED!)

I figured it out! The carts won't be perfectly uniform, but I was able to get 5 carts to come in, stop, wait for about 20 seconds, and then take off! All while keeping it flat and no plugins!

If anyone is interested or wants to help perfect it let me know and I will describe how I did it! I'm still working to perfect it. I need to create a more consistent incoming speed to the station, as the powered rails that create the "stop" are timed, so if the train comes in too slow or too fast it doesn't work. Might end up just using a piston to stop the entire train instead of the timed powered rails.

I've searched YouTube and the forums and haven't seen anyone do this yet, so I'm pretty excited!

posted a message on Automatic subway style stop with multiple minecarts (SOLVED!)

I've seen the plugins accomplish what I want, but thats it. And I know I can easily do it with a single cart. I want a subway style system where a series of carts (like 5) come into the stop, stop for a few seconds, and then start going again. This would be a looping circuit and the cart trains would pull in every so often, just like a subway.

I think that I can keep it flat by simply using a piston to push behind the last cart which would be sitting on a powered rail. Since a block would be behind the powered rail, when its powered it would push all of the carts forward.

What I can't figure out is how to get all of the trains to stop together. I'm assuming I would either have to use powered rails for the stop and time it to turn them all off once they are all over them? Or would I have to use a piston and detector rail to physically stop the carts?

This is just what I came up with, but I'm open to anything. I don't want to use the "incline" method of propelling the carts unless I have to.

posted a message on Better Together Command Differences

I just posted a similar question. There has to be a master list of the commands we can use. Computer coding is hard enough without knowing whether certain inputs are even valid. I would love an "introduction to commands for legacy version users".

I feel like I was just taken out of kindergarten and dropped into an advanced college computer class and told to just "read the textbook".

posted a message on List of BE available commands (not java)

Sorry if this is a double post, wasn't sure if this was better here or in Support.

Is there a list of all of the commands that can be used in Chat and on Command blocks for Bedrock Edition. Every list I've seen has commands we can't even use.

A crash course on commands for console users would be nice, considering until now we haven't really been working with them.

posted a message on Masterlist of usable commands?

With the new update I've been wanting to get into using commands in the chat and command blocks. But I see that we can't use all of the available ones. Is there a list of what can currently be used in the chat and on command blocks?

Also is there a basic breakdown of each command and what can be done with each one? Console people aren't used to commands like PC people are and I haven't seen a simplified crash course for people using commands for the first time. Everyone just points to the Command Wiki page that just lists every single one.

I know that /give and then the item name will give me an item, but what can be added after that? (enchantment, effects, etc). Knowing every command that is available will probably help this, or even finding out which commands are NOT available would help determine which ones are.

Do we know if they will spawn in already discovered territory or do we have to go to an undiscovered part of the world?

posted a message on Door lock
I was let down by the fact that item frame combinations with comparators is not yet in the game. I was going to use them as a combo lock to get into my base. Anybody have any other ideas of a way to create a hidden way to open a door in a similar fashion? I am trying my best to use simple decorations to open a door.

posted a message on Mining animaiton issue?
Anyone else having an issue mining? I am having a delay type issue. When I go to mine the animaiton begins for a second and then stops and resets. It is almost as if I am taking my finger off the trigger (but I am not). My controller works fine with other games so I do not think it is the controller.

redstone comparator not working. trying to make an item frame combo lock. no matter what I do I cannot get power to the comparator. comparator is directly behind block that item frame is on facing away, and when rotating item in frame no power!
also a bug that when I try to break a block with an axe there is a hesitation where i begin to mine the block, it stops, and restarts. adding an extra second to the mining of blocks.
