    Thank you, apologies didn't see the other topic! Yeah mine is pretty close to my setup (on an island) but luckily 90% of the area I am in is ocean so should be able to fix.


    I'll take a look at his videos thank you for letting me know! though is this going to be the new way things spawn or is this a bug?

    Not sure if this is the right place to post this.


    Was purely curious about how the mob spawning works in this version (not sure if fixed since aquatic update part one) since I noticed that my mob grinders weren't producing anything/very little.

    Is spawning for mobs different in the "Bedrock" edition compared to the other version (legacy/java). If so any information will be very helpful so I can hopefully design a better mob grinder for this. If this is a bug please let me know as well thank you.

    I came up with health and damage for mobs (tried my best to keep it balanced using spider/silverfish stats), HP: 20 Damage: Easy and Normal: 3 or 3 1/2 hearts Hard: 4 or 4 1/2 hearts. Exp: 5.


    Nethermites they do half a heart and have the small chance to set the player/mob on fire (increases depending on difficulty, I.e easy 0-5% chance for fire, Normal 0-10% Hard 5-15%?), HP: 5 hearts.


    Chance for a Nether Camp, Slightly less than a Dungeon so they aren't everywhere to keep it balanced.


    Any balancing needed comment, I do wanna apologize ahead of time for so much text.

    I had some small ideas for blocks/mobs for the nether to make it a bit more interesting. (Only reasons for the nether at the moment are, withers,fortresses, and blazes along with certain alchemy ingredients).


    Mobs: Nethermites, similar to endermites/silverfish however they have a small chance to set the player on fire after mining nether brick in fortresses (same health as silverfish/endermite). Lava spider or Nether spider, a nether version of the spider, possibly bigger than the normal 2 block wide, (3 blocks?). I think it should drop a reskin of string (lava string?) Nether eyes (another fire resistance or night vision for brewing?) and nether wart. it would have slightly more health than a normal spider and wither skeletons can jockey them. (I know wither jockeys exist in minecraft but only in creative).


    New Items: Packed/Tough Netherrack, Similar to netherrack but has a slightly higher blast resistance than netherrack and can be found naturally under soul sand or crafted by combining 4 netherrack together like bricks. Natural obsidian, Question why is the block needed to get to the nether not in the nether? why not add it as a rare block randomly found near the lava lakes or in it. Crying Obsidian, yes the original spawn item for cav- i mean minecraft, why not make this block increase the level cap from 30 to 35 when placed as the ground for enchantment tables. (must cover the ground around said enchantment table, only one being placed will increase the level cap by 1 and so on.) to obtain it, craft a ghast's tear with obsidian or find it near the bedrock in the nether (diamond pick can mine it).


    Nether tools and swords: Slightly better than stone but swings slowly (similar to mining fatigue) (its still below iron but only slightly better than stone, breaks after 150 uses same blocks as stone however). made out of nether brick (not the block but, smelted netherrack).


    New Structure: Abandoned Nether Camps, They have a chest with broken tools/supplies similar to blacksmith chests or abandoned mineshafts. They have a broken nether portal (missing 1-3 blocks of obsidian) near it is a small crater signalling someone attempted to sleep or were attacked by a ghast. They are found ether underground (under netherrack/ near lava lakes) or in random locations in the nether.


    Any ideas to add or any balancing issues that might need to be addressed, tell me what you think!

    If you make this 128 blocks high or light up all caves in a 128 blocks around will make it 10x better. If you are able to add hoppers at the bottom it can automatically puts drops into a chest for you. (you can also use slabs instead of light due to mobs not being able to spawn on slabs or water)

    Slimes spawn in the Overworld in specific chunks below layer 40. They can also spawn in swamp biomes between layers 50-70 in light levels of 7 or less.

    Slimes will not spawn within 24 blocks (spherical) of any player, and will despawn over time if no player is within 32 blocks and instantly if no player is within 128 blocks.

    I'm currently having a horrible frame rate issue with one of my single player worlds. Its were sometimes I look around, open a chest/inventory or place/mine blocks my frame rate drops or freezes for a good 10-30 seconds sometimes more. I'm not sure what would be causing it, It doesn't happen to often but rarely does on peaceful mode but more on easy,normal, and hard modes. Frames still drop after sleeping/ going 128 blocks away and while in the nether) any Ideas to keep the frames from dropping?

    Im not sure what happened but when i placed a painting onto some hay my game froze showing an OUT OF MEMORY ERROR and cant open the map or the error will happen. Im not sure if this has happened before but dont ask why i was putting a painting on hay in the first place
