    posted a message on Macro / Keybind mod scripts!
    I'm trying to get this kind of "select a weapon" script working. It works very well to pick sword or bow, but in 1.5.2 and older versions, the selection code seems to be run twice very often (toggling twice makes no change).

    $${
    # if currently selected item is any sword,
    IF(ITEM=276||ITEM=267||ITEM=272||ITEM=268);
      # pick a bow instead
      PICK(261);
    ELSE;
      # pick the best sword you have on the bar
      PICK(276,267,272,268);
    ENDIF;
    }$$

    I added some debounce logic to it, but even that does not seem to stop the repeats. Interestingly, it does only log once per keypress though, so I think there's some other problem with the logic.

    $${
    LOG(%TICKS% %@#debounce%);
    IF(%TICKS%!=%@#debounce%);
      IF(ITEM=276||ITEM=267||ITEM=272||ITEM=268);
        PICK(261);
      ELSE;
        PICK(276,267,272,268);
      ENDIF;
      SET(@#debounce,%TICKS%);
    ENDIF;
    }$$

    posted a message on Project DIVA = Hatsune Miku + Dance Dance Revolution
    Here's a 3d sculpture project I constructed 100% LEGIT on my usual server, SerenityMC.net. I took Hatsune Miku's head, modeled it 50 meters high, and then built it out of about nine thousand hand-collected, hand-dyed, hand-placed cyan wool blocks.

    And what did I do when it was done? I partnered up with my friend cedicine, and we built a fully functional Dance Dance Revolution game... INSIDE the head. All the circuitry from drums to melody to scrolling dance display to dance judging and reward delivery... everything working within the head space.

    Watch on YouTube... still photos don't do it justice.

    posted a message on [Forge][Bukkit] WorldEdit - Edit your world in-game! [MC 1.8]
    Does the WorldEdit dev read this?

    I really want (need) commands that support the datavalues. Some commands seem to ignore them silently.

    //count wool:6

    //replace wool:6 wool:9

    Fixing the note block data value issues is also important.

    I wanted to do a sequel to this video, with a series of animations/hacks on the redstone machine that I built in this model, but since there are 64 note blocks and about 9900 wool of many different colors, I've had to put off the project.

    posted a message on Project DIVA = Hatsune Miku + DDR + Minecraft
    I joined the SMP server server.serenitymc.net a few months ago, and my second large-scale construction was the exterior of this project. It contains nearly 10,000 dyed wool blocks plus other materials, all gathered in normal Survival conditions. (Serenity does not offer WorldEdit or inventory hacks for its main Survival map.)

    Okay, after another few weeks on SerenityMC.net, cedicine and I have finished the secret interior project inside the 50-meter Hatsune Miku bust. We implemented a fully functional Dance Dance Revolution game in redstone, with programmable music and automatic dance judging features!

    I could write pages and pages about it, but this video will beat anything I could write.

    Serenity does not whitelist before you can connect. Anyone can log into server.serenitymc.net and do a /warp diva command to see this landmark. (Many other landmark /warp points make for a nice tour.) Guests can sign up on a forum for building rights.

    Tell us a little about yourself: I usually try to build what suits the landscape, not just bulldoze for something solitary, but I've got a couple project ideas in mind

    Sorry I've destroyed all my pre-1.5 worlds; here are some minor creations along my now-2km monorail.

    posted a message on Map For On A Rail Achievement
    This thing, it was DEFINITELY a chore.

    I really hope Notch doesnt do another achievement that will literally take hours of gameplay

    Tell Notch that no one likes On A Rail and that he should't add anymore chores

    What a bunch of whiners. It's not like achievements are mandatory. You don't like it, don't do it. If you want to do it, take your time and have fun with it. It sounds like someone is inflicting torture on you just by offering a project idea that takes more than thirty seconds.

    posted a message on Diamonds in one world
    In my current world, started when 1.5 came out, I've found 129 :Diamond:. That's two stacks plus one.

    I tend to get bored with a world when it gets very far over 1000x1000 meters, and I've got more diamonds than I need for making tools. This world is about 2800x1000 meters currently, I've been down to the diamond layer in several different mines, and I'm running out of things to do.

    After fixing your walls and floors, remove and replace the bed. I think it checks the "vulnerability" of a bed situation only when it is put down, not every time you use it.

    posted a message on How to change statistics
    I think the best program to change Minecraft achievements and statistics is Minecraft. If you want your "diamond blocks mined" statistic to read 256, go out and dig around a bit. If you want your "on a rail" achievement to read Taken, then start smelting all the iron you found while digging for diamonds.

    Man, if real life had a "bicycle all the way across town" achievement, some of you guys would try to prop up a bicycle in the back of a truck and have your friend drive you over there.

    So the track must be perfectly straight. Shucks. Sheep or caves don't get in the way if you build the track 30 blocks above sea level.

    The track can be all kinds of crooked, but you'll need more track to do it.

    Let's say that you measure your east/west coordinate with X, and your north/south coordinate with Z. All that matters is that you get on at coordinates X,Z and you ride without getting out of the cart until you pass (X-1000,Z), or (X+1000,Z), or (X,Z-1000), or (X,Z+1000).

    This track ride is about 1700 meters long, but barely crosses the 1000 mark near the end because it takes a huge diversion and several smaller ones.
