I saw one yesterday using the /give commands. I havent been able to find it since, Im admin on my own server and its a ***** to have to type out 100 times the same command to fill your inventory. So yeah, thats a legit way :happy.gif:
If you are actually the one running the server then there are many ways to make it work, use a server-side wrapper, cheat engine or nbtedit. all will work if the server is running on your computer.
Just thought I'd add that not all server hosts care. I'm on a semi-private server and the mod gives me redstone and obsidian all the time for my random projects. So what about semi-private servers? (Semi-private meaning, if you know the IP then you are welcome. Just no griefing)
That is the point, if the server wanted you to be able to spawn items they would simply use or allow you to use the /give command. The only reason you would need an INV Editor would be if the server wasn't allowing the above.
I believe that is what battlekid is getting at. Either way if you want to mess around and cheat just do it in a private or singleplayer map.
I tried this using photoshop's 3d layering capabilities but it turned out just looking like a big mess, and because the map was rather large eventually caused photoshop to crash.
I prefer to stick with something simple like Minutor for viewing layers.
Is there any possibility that you could make the layers get progressively darker as they get further below the selected layer? I am only thinking a very slight change in brightness just to help distinguish depth, the current topographic lines can make it hard to see depth especially underground.
Either way, very cool and useful program!
With a combination of NBTForge and MCEDIT you can create just about everything, but if you wish to generate a map the only way for infinite maps is the game itself.
All 32p texture mods have this. ONLY NOTCH CAN CHANGE IT.
so what? bricks are just screwed, nothing i can do about it?
Two things, one, USE THE SEARCH BUTTON!!! there are way too many threads about this, the error is caused by how the renderer uses empty space in the texture map to create the fire animation. Unfortunately this method currently only supports the native resolution and causes these errors when the resolution is raised.
Second, there is a solution but it lies in the source code which only Notch can legally modify. In other words no you cannot fix it.
EDIT: thought I would also mention that Notch did show interest in fixing this issue when he was live streaming, I have no doubt that it will be fixed in time. For now just don't use bricks or don't use high-res textures.
i dont see how this would make notch "clamp" textures.
considering this allows people to see RIGHT through the ground i can defiantly see how this would force notch to do something. Cheating in multilayer? if this takes off servers will be given the option to drop modified clients. Then NON-cheating textures can't be used on half the servers that exist.

as long as they are stores client side you will pretty much ALWAYS be able to change them.
md5 checks by the server?
i guess what i'm trying to say is; i don't want to see this in multilayer.
please stop spamming the thread? ever hear of dumping maps? ever hear of modded clients? they would be far more helpful in cheating than this. and just because the server requests an md5 hash doesn't mean that the client will send the actual md5 hash. the only thing that would do is stop people from using custom textures.
If you even used the texture you would see that it is not even all that useful. if notch wants to start doing anti-cheat stuff (not gonna happen, look at VAC, they got a whole team just for anti cheat) you will pretty much never get game play updates.
Hes not spamming the thread you stupid twit, hes got a legitimate concern which I agree with BTW.
You are the one distributing the jar file illegally, far worse than spam, especially non-spam.

Looks like opengl smoothing isn't supported by your graphics card, try updating your drivers.

Install minecraft,
Install AO mod.
That is your only option currently.
Or you could:
Sell your crap mac
buy two PC's for the price
install two minecrafts
install two AO mods.
Profit

Agreed, this combined with ELD's Texture pack makes Minecraft look awesome.

I use doku's but eld's is impressive enough to be worth mentioning.
