What kind of trees grow in this biome? Because it should probably be either jungle or a new type.

Did you bother to read the thread before you posted? I will quote from my opening post, "There would be small trees, replacing cacti, probably about 3 wood blocks with a few leaves on them."

Please read the thread in its entirety in future before posting.

Okay. You obviously never use superflat. I do all the time, in creative no less, to test out mob behaviour. If this were added I wouldn't be able to do that.

It is quite easy to build above level 40 is it not? Where slimes do not spawn? Either way, i dont think Notch cares that much about superflat players as they represent such a small amount of the player base.

All the other mobs actually have a use, and this doesn't.

False, if you had read the thread you would observe the fact that a snow golem upon death drops 10-20 snow blocks and a few pumpkins. They most certainlty do have a use. Your argument is invalid.

The reason TNT cannons are a more balanced way of doing things is because it requires more advanced ores/items, therefore means that no noobie player can join a server, hack in some items, and instantly start wrecking the landscape. TNT cannons require numerous TNT (meaning many creepers killed+ sand collected), water (water buckets, meaning they need iron), and redstone (which, with a button/lever, generally means getting the redstone, having stone/cobblestone, and iron if you are using a repeater). By having that many materials in order to create a ranged explosive attack, it ensures that players will not abuse the item as it would take some time to create.

Wrong. This idea is perfectly balanaced as it requires 1/5 the gunpowder and has 1/5 the explosive power. it is just mounted on an arrow

Speaking of enchantments.. does the enchantment affect the explosive on the arrow, gypsy? I personally think it shouldn't. (In which case, the powered arrow would have to hit anyway)

Enchantments dont effect the explosion, but do effect things like fire aspect or punch or power enchants.

Its way too easy to find.
Tools, weapons and armor out of uranium...what...
    Too overpowered.

Did you read my most recent post? I said slgihtly stronger than iron, but degrades slightly faster, and has the same rarity as iron. How can anyone consider that to be "overpowered"?

The bubble is okay and you should add a poll to the topic, so people can vote, would be a lot easier to see the numbers then. :)

No support on the nuclear reactor, as for the armor and weapons go, how strong are they?

The armour and weapons are slightly better than iron but degrade slightly faster.

posted a message on Add Uranium To Minecraft
    Hi,

Uranium should be implemented, here is how.

Uranium ore can be found at the same levels and with the same rarity as iron. It can be mined with an iron or higher pick.

Once mined, the ore must be smelted, creating a uranium ingot.

With this you can craft tools/weapons/armour out of uranium.

By building a nuclear reactor,(iron door +8 obsidian) you can use your uranium to provide a supply of power for up to 20 furnaces at a time, it also emits redstone power.

When a uranium ingot is placed inside the reactor, it will emit power for one hour. After this hour it will need to be replaced and the radioactive waste should be removed. Having the waste in your inventory or anywhere near you in a chest or placed as a block will slowly kill you from radiation poisoning.

To stop this being OP, there is a 10% chance at the expiry of every uranium ingot in the reactor of melting down. This causes a nuclear explosion, and will destroy the map down to bedrock level in a radius of 100 blocks from the reactor. Blast resistance is ignored.

Nuclear waste is disposed of by storing it underground for a period of 100 ingame years, when it will turn into cobblestone.

If you have any ideas on how this could be improved, please let me know! Thanks.

Therefore they have no reason to breed.

You are wrong, oh so wrong.

We can force them to breed by threatening them with our diamond weapon technology, and unleash the might of the creeper horde upon them if they fail to meet set quotas.

That gives them a reason to breed.

I'm sorry, what? Using the souls of dead monsters to give your gear power doe make sense in a fantasy setting, but make robots have sex doesn't. Also, the do damage you slightly, and have you seen the rate of fire? Like others have said, it's a griefing tool just waiting to happen.

TNT, firespread, PVP, mobs in general are all griefing tools. That shouldnt be considered when implementing new mobs and based on creepers and endermeanies i dont think Mojang cares it all about griefing.

    Quote from 23232323

Hmm... having read the updated OP, some (and I stress, SOME) of this could actually work. But it would be better to add these attributes to the charged creeper, rather than to add a redundant prefix mob.

So you would support if we just changed charged creepers a little instead of adding this new mob?

I don't think a grenade should have the same explosive power as a standard TNT block, especially if it's only using 1/5th the amount of gunpowder. I don't think it's too futuristic , and there is room for expansion as well. I don't think gunpowder and a snowball would work very well, but maybe surround 1 gunpowder with 4 clay would make the grenade. You could add a bonus recipe on top of that, by combining a grenade with a slimeball. That way you could have a sticky grenade that sticks to any surface shortly before detonating.

I suppose if you wanted to have sticks of dynamite, you could have the gunpowder and sand stacked beneath a piece of string as a wick. You could overcomplicate matters by saying you can only use it by right-clicking with it in your hand, and with a flint and steel in your inventory.

    Added the stick grenade idea.

    Quote from SDIAN

Griefing isn't Mojang's problem, it's the server owner's for letting those griefers on without knowing. Serious OP in PVP? I don't think so, since it has half of the explosive force and power.. although it should have a 1/4th IMO.

Also, what about my idea? Did you read that?

    Thankyou.
