Thats really sad.
They're obviously jealous of notch's success and how the game has turned out, they dont want another game doing the same slowly pushing them further and further down the creators leader board.
If they loose it'll be good, Mojang deserves to win. Game store and Game station dont sue each other so why should scrolls be sued by elder scrolls? it's just ludicrous and I really will be devastated if mojang takes a defeat.
Yeah, Bethesda, the huge game devloper with millions in sales is jealous of Notch. They are suing because it will cause confusion, nothing more. There is no jealousy, Mojang does not "deserve" to win. - To post a comment, please login.

Yeah because my post count TOTALLY is lower than yours.
Do you have any constructive criticism, or just insults?

All the chances are equal

1. You hold it in your hand and use it on bats
2. Ok sounds good
3. Maybe reduce the chances on getting a good sacrifice?
4. Durability is tied to the materials you use to craft it, whats wrong with that?

Minecraft teaches all this up to about a 5 year old level. If you are going to try and teach social skills through minecraft shoot me first please as i dont want to be around to see it. Your also not going to get much geometry math music or reading out of it. And just forget about learning "survival" skills out of minecraft. If your school board accepts this, *shudders*

My proposition is that you can now catch bats with a new tool called the "batcatcher"
Its just like any other tool comes in wood cobble iron gold or diamond, except you cant craft it.
You have to buy it of a villager at a price ranging from 1-10 emeralds decided by a random number generator
It has the same uses as the corresponding diamond tool would have
You can simply deploy the batcatcher by placing it in your hand and right clicking a bat
Deploying the batcatcher will result in a 33% chance (1 in 3) that the bat will be captured into your inventory
Once a bat is caught it may either be eaten as a source of food - same as mushroom stew in food terms
It may also be traded with villageres for anwhere between 1-10 emerals, again a random number generator
It may also be sacrificed to the gods at any beacon or jungle temple or desert pyramid
A sacrifice will grant you enough xp levels to reach level 30.
Any ideas on how to improve this? I think i treally has potential and i CANNOT WAIT for Mojang to implemt it
Constructive critiscim only please, thanks guys have agood day!

Sosmy idea is this, a new form of villager called the Archaeologist.
what this new villager does is goes digging around the village for artifacts He will have a new type of house for the villages, to add variety.
He will excavate a quarry in or near the village, digging a 10x10 hole all the way to bedrock. If he falls in lava/dies another villager will have to finish the job. On his way down if the villager mines either a chest or a spawn of any sort, he will recieve one random artifact per chest or spawner he mines.
The artifacts all have an equal chance of appearing - here is the list below:
Diamond
Random piece of iron armour with random enchant and random durability level
Random mob egg - anything from mooshrom to endermen - up to a stack of 16!
Random amount of "treasure" - gold nuggets up to 64
Ancient villager technology - Armor and tools made from hardened coal - with 10x the durability and power of diamond gear
1 stack of emerals
1 stack of diamond blocks
1 stack of iron blocks
4 pieces of bonemeal
2 jungle saplings
ALSO:
You can pay a villager to excavate a site for you in the 10x10xbedrock manner described above. For the reasonable price of 1 iron block, the archaeologist will dig it anywhere you ask him too for that price. If he dies another villager will be spawned to finish the task. All rewards from the dig will be given to you + the hole gets dug.
Any CONSTRUCTIVE critiscm or advice please post~ thanks!!~~~~!

Please coherently state why you oppose the idea.

It isnt annoying, you annoy it! It only fights you when you enter its lair, that is, generated structures.
It isnt overpowered as it is balanced by all the pots and enchantments you can use + the loot in structures.

I only proposed that idea because that anorak person demanded it. I was not in favour of it.

So how would you balance it?
