What would be the point of breeding snow golems anyway?
To farm snow and pumpkins. Currently the only way to get snow is to get it out of a snow golem farming machine, this is far more efficient, breeding snowmen that then drop 10-20 blocks of snow + a pumpkin.
Or player comes in, sees the strange, unmoving floating ghast, and either breaks the spawner, encases it in cobblestone, or makes a spawner trap out of it. Since the troll would need 9 diamonds and 30 enchant levels first, along with obsidian, it would seem pretty good. And since the troll would also need ghast tears, presumebly using a bow and arrows and getting lucky...
Spawners to close to each other will slow each other down. 50 spawners all next to each other wouldn't do much of a difference from having like 2 spawners next to each other.
Oh and 50 diamond blocks is 450 diamonds. Not the easiest thing to accomplish...

There is a reason, its intended to be a cute easter egg and add some fun to the game. There is nothing wrong with makig minecraft more cuddly and child friendly.

I do think that temples need to be a bit more-trapish but this is much too much.
If perhaps there were less of these creepers in the temple, say 5 or something instead of a whole horde of them, would that be better? Or we could replace them with a few hostile iron golems?
They're obviously jealous of notch's success and how the game has turned out, they dont want another game doing the same slowly pushing them further and further down the creators leader board.
If they loose it'll be good, Mojang deserves to win. Game store and Game station dont sue each other so why should scrolls be sued by elder scrolls? it's just ludicrous and I really will be devastated if mojang takes a defeat.
Yeah, Bethesda, the huge game devloper with millions in sales is jealous of Notch. They are suing because it will cause confusion, nothing more. There is no jealousy, Mojang does not "deserve" to win.

I don't really understand what you are trying to say. Couldn't the same logic be applied to diamond and iron tools, enchanted or unenchanted?
It is merely a high tier of furnace that does things more efficiently.

Or you could use 8 blast furnaces in the same space with the same amount of fuel and do 4x as much?
