    ~Vaelen~

Vaelen wiped the last drops of blood from his blade, marveling at his reflection in the once-again gleaming blade. Suddenly, black tendrils rose up and retreated with the suddenly re-dead. Vaelen ignored this, deciding instead to collect arrow bolts he had scattered in the pillars. He could handle a crossbow, but his lack of formal training sometimes showed, and it bothered him. The skeletons being retracted did intrigue him, but he had been in the 'business' just long enough to not be distracted by such occurrences.

Having found all the still-usable bolts, Vaelen turned to the cloaks lying on the ground. "Well then, lads, what do you suggest we do now?" And with that he scooped up one of the cloaks and threw it over himself. One thing I'll say for you, you guys sure do have nice cloaks." Vaelen swept his eyes over the remaining four cloaks, and, with a sigh, ceased his monologue, realising that there was nobody to hear him. He slumped against a pillar, thinking over his next move.

Are you calling my RP uninteresting?!

.... Are you really unable to understand what they're saying?

If nobody is joining your RP it means they aren't interested. There is no way to remedy mankind.

If they can't manage to read a timestamp, I doubt they'll pay much attention to that. Also, how many GM's do you think would be willing to admit that there RP has even died? It'd be like telling somebody they're science project sucks; they'll fight you over it.

I would but it's not like I would actually put any effort into it.

Not to mention I have two warnings on my acoount.

I don't really know. The older HMA threads have been necro'd about 3 times now though, and it kinda freaks me out. Those things are waaaaaaay out back.

I believe maybe they're finding the threads on google? I know some top google search results will take you straight to certain MCF topics, though searching the correct magic words is kinda hard.

Didn't read far back enough. Had misinterpreted the more recent posts as the group having left the gypsy camp.

Took a look, don't know where to slip myself in. Unless somebody has a suggestion, I'll take another look in a few hours.

This RP is dead. If you read the last post date, nobody has posted here since 2011.

I'll try to post IC tomorrow.

    As for this thingy;

"On the side of the road, a caravan has been toppled over, blood spilt over wood, but there are no bodies in sight."

"You hear ominous chanting from a cave nearby."

"A caravan of gypsies waves you down."

"A burning villager topples on the path in front of you. He mutters of a town bathed in fire."

"An old warrior stands before you, surrounded by the ghosts of his comrades. He asks for you to help him find an honourable rest for he and his party."

Thought so. For whatever reason, I read it as ten.

On the topic of Evade and Assassinate, I figured so on both accounts but couldn't be sure.

Reflex was mainly about the greater reload speed and accuracy.

    Anyway, is this acceptance?

    Name: Vaelen Kurst

    Age: 27

    Gender: Male

    Race: Angel/Forsaken* Hybrid

    Appearance:

    Stats: [STR:2 || DEF: 1 || DEX: 4 || INT: 2 || MAG: 1]

    Skills/Powers:

    -Stealth

    -Vestigial Wings

    -Primal Senses*

Weapon(s): Heavy Crossbow, a 1 handed sword and 2X Hidden Daggers.

Other: Just nothing that I intend for him to use his fists as a primary weapon on occasion.

    Now all the *'s

Forsaken- The forsaken were ancient race of humanoids with unmatched skill and power. A single Forsaken warrior was able to take on an elder dragon by themselves. The Forsaken Lord had allied his people with the humans, but when the cities of man were under siege from hordes of demonic creatures, the Forsaken refused to help. So a group of human mages gathered and cast a spell that damned the Forsaken. Since then, the Forsaken have devolved, losing much of their power and many becoming sterile. Now a dying race, most Forsaken have given up, simply accepting the death of their people. Originally, Forsaken had lavender coloured skin and dark eyes, with height similar to that of Elves. Since their curse, however, most of them appear simply as humans with strange markings across their flesh.

Primal Senses- [Training] By using their enhanced senses, this character can 'see' everything around them in a ten metre radius. This radius is enhanced by 1 metre for every point in the intelligence stat.

EDIT: I feel like I did something wrong.

I'm one of those people who find it hard to keep interested when nothings happening.
One big problem pretty much everybody ignores is that you need to incentivise people to keep them around. How you do this is dependent on the RP and the OP.

HMA dies because I, and several others, get busy and then everybody else assumes it dies.

Used to be, a bump would keep a good thread going. Not anymore.
