    Ohh, so is in their end. Somehow it doesn't surprise me (maybe is the fact that no pack was updated beyond 1.5), that means i'm forced to painfully update/swap the textures manually :<

    About the Zip problem, are you using OSX by any chance? Back in the day whenever i used to try and modify minecraft.jar i made the same mistake, it took me a while to understand the error. Now that i think of it, i totally missed that fact :\

    May i suggest you to put a big, red, boldy warning in/below the download link so at least people know they missed the fact that they have to unzip the folder for it to work and dismiss the excuse that they "didn't saw the answer a few pages away" so they kept asking.

    Also, can i haz customizer? :Þ

    Yeah, thats how Textures Packs used to be handled, now the Resource Packs are Folders. Long story short, you have to unzip them.

    OHH GAWD is HIDEOUS! :P ...now more seriously, lemme see:

    - Comparator top shows the default
    - Light sensor seems untouched, all default
    - Horses are indeed missing their hearts-health bar
    - Charcoal as a burned stick is cute, but it bugs me that is made out of logs, not sticks! D:
    - Potion stands are showing its default texture
    - Armor keeps being awesome (glad to see it)
    - Animated blocks (both torches, diamond, grass, lanterns) seems to be working ok
    - Anvil is missing its top (or is way out of place with the color), at least its intact part.
    - Spiders and Endermen still have white overlays
    - Pigmen are naked!!! and they have the legs backward it seems (front matches back color and vise versa)
    - Netherbrick seems to be the default one (maybe just too similar?)

    Other than that i haven't found anything else.

    EDIT:
    - Command block shows it default!
    - Placed Redstone dust shows it default!
    - I'm loving the wood this RP is giving me... (NO, not like that!)
    - Wither has default texture, but the boss bar is OK
    - Ender Crystal seems default (the crystal, not the pedestal, that one is ok)
    - Ender Dragon in red is boss!

    About the adblock problem, if you're quick enough you can press in both stages of the download link and start it without problem.

    I love this pack since i found it, i believe it was around beta, but i'm starting to have the same issues i've had with other packs, like John Smith, thats it the increase of new texture that don't match the old style and the lack of customizing said textures.

    My biggest example is the cobblestone, which is basically a clay brick recolored, which is hideous, by the way, but the one in the old customizer site is so much better, the problem is when i have to choose a whole pack that doesn't look good to me or a beautiful pack that isn't whole.

    In the same line is my personal gripe against similar types of bricks, if your cobblestone, stone, clay and sandstone bricks look similar, or sometimes the same, then any final product you do with them is going to look bad, there will be no perception of depth, color scheme.

    Now just to avoid being just a nagging (aw cmon, let me swear!)­­, i'm too have a lot of free time nowadays, but my drawing/painting skills are lamest at best, is there any way i can help you to update things faster? maybe add the new textures to the customizer or modify metadata files? because i really like this pack and i want to play Minecraft but i'll be dammed if i can stand the old textures compared to these.

    yeah, with the difficulty meter and the addition of peaceful/dangerous biomes this should be no problemo

    anything we said right now is speculation, the update just 48 (+/-) hours away...

    i can't really wait as you, guys. but the only way to find out is testing ourselves, or asking the magazines guys to test it carefully. anyway it takes TIME...

    Couple of flaws with that statement.

    1. It isn't a SURVIVAL game it's a SANDBOX game
    2. Creative isn't updated, has no physics, crafting, blocks, etc.

    well, the game start as a survival game and creative does have physics.

    also alpha, survival (classic), creative and SMP are all sandbox...

    i think the updated train + hell combo will do ok for us...

    updated train equals to normal train with joints and forward/backward power that notch state "would be nice to implement"
